This is one of the coolest ones I've ever seen. I just made my lil guy (I call mine Cap'n Pete) and it's so great and terribly awesome that I just had to share it.

It doesn't look like much in the picture though, does it? Watching This Video (http://www.grand-illusions.com/videos/dragon%20illusion.wmv) will change your mind.

I recoiled in terror when the video began as vivid flashbacks of the girl crawling out of the tv screen in The Ring began to assault my tender, young, tissue paper like mind.

To properly print this out, you must save this JPEG (http://www.grand-illusions.com/images/dragon.JPG) to your computer and open it inside an image editing program and make sure the dpi is 200! If you try printing it from your browser it will be at 72 dpi and it will be HUGE.

Alternately, you can just download this PDF (http://www.grand-illusions.com/images/dragon.pdf) file and print it out. :)

Do this now. :fist:

Don't say that. I saw it last week. Still recovering from the trauma.

But, yeah, freaky...

That’s been on my desk for about 3 months. I still turn my head every time I see it.

Let me get this straight. You've known about this for over three months and haven't bothered sharing that knowledge with your Swampie brotheren?

Anyways, here's a picture of my Cap'n Pete!

My dad found out about this about four months ago. The dragon sits on top of our computer tower now. Every time company comes over, we catch them bobbing their heads at the thing. :p

I just finished mine. a slight problem is, MY mind sees things as they really are and i must try hard to IMAGINE the head structure inside out to make the illusion work.

interesting thing over all.;)

Uhuh. Sure it does.

Sit farther away, close one eye and blur your vision somewhat. It's a lot harder to get it to work if you can see it extremely crisply and if it has shadowing.

Doing it the one eyed way you can even stand the thing two inches from your eye and trigger it if you tell yourself his left eye is closer to you. Try it!

I placed it in my dimly lit living room on the mantlepeice above the fireplace. it now works even with both eyes open if your not too close. however the closer you are, the faster the head "moves" when you walk by it. THANKS!
