Clan Sabers?

Anyone know what a clan saber is? An example of what im talking about can be found at TheLighsaber.com (http://www.thelightsaber.com/history6a.htm) look at the last sbaer . Plo Kloon #2. Im just wondering what these are. I was looking at this site to try and do some 3d models. I was gonna do them and post the models on the board cuz im not very handy at modding games just with doing the graphics.

Good question. I've been all over Starwars.com & the closest thing I've found that mentions anything about 'clans' can be found here. (http://www.starwars.com/databank/organization/bearclan/index.html) I'm guessing it's the saber they use during these times.

^^Heh, when I played JA that was usually the saber hilt I used.

I was told by a friend that a clan saber is a light saber used by clans in jedi training for example bear clan (the jedi yoda is training in ep 2) would have a clan saber that they are all given at training and return at the end.
