Forgive my ignorance about Battlefront modding (I have a 56K connection so still have not finished downloading the
SW:BF mod tools.. 53% done so far :P ), but, as well as creating new maps, I'm also interested in tweaking the existing game and maps. Mainly, adjusting the vehicles and weapons to make vehicle combat a bit more "realistic" and fast-paced, making static turrets more effective, and adjusting the original maps - changing some vehicle spawn points and adding some
of the "missing" vehicles like the MTT, Shuttle and attack speeder.
Is any of this possible - i.e editing the existing sides and maps, as well as creating new ones?
P.S. I used to do a lot of Battlezone 2 modding years ago (under the name Novum) so if SW:BF uses similar .ODF files to BZ2, I shouldn't have much trouble with modding it!
