my brother's wife was in a car accident on wednesday (Jan. 19)......she was coming up to an intersection and the light turned red just before she got there and she tried to stop but she skidded thru the intersection and a Lexus SUV ran over the passenger side of the car.....shes ok just a bruised knee cap.

well she spun 6 times and stopped in the airport parking lot...

the Lexus walked away with a busted headlight and dented up bumper......and the lady driver was furious....i mean look at my bro's car! mangled 2003(i think) Mustang and the Lexus ladys got a dented bumper and busted headlight....she has a car that still drives...my bro and his wife do not...

but this is the car......poor Mustang.....i shall miss the summer days the top down....

and we swampies have too many car accidents around in this forum

If the light turns red as soon as you get there, you should keep going because their light doesn't turn green for a few more seconds. ;)

Glad to here no one was seriously hurt. That sucks man. That car looks pretty cool. :(

Last month, my Dad was traveling down a country road in his truck, and the left front wheel just decided to come off. I mean it literally rolled away from his truck, at a fast speed. He found it in a ditch four miles away from his truck. Luckily it didn't hurt anyone. He thinks someone at his work might have loosened it because he left his truck there for the night and took his work truck home. Epp.

to be fair to the lady driving the Lexus, my first reaction in that situation upon realising nobody was hurt would be to be fumingly angry cos from her perspective jebber's sister-in-law must have looked like she ran a red light and promptly put herself in the way of her car, or oddly braked to a halt in front of her path just before she hit it.

it does suck mightily though, that looks like a nice car, glad nobody was hurt. where does the insurance stand on it?

the frame is bent on the 'Stang so its scrap...now they are paying car insurance on a car they dont own....that really sucks for him and his wife....they worked so hard for their car and their house....
