I mentioned going over to the EaW ages ago except I said new Star Wars RTS because at the time no details had been released, I think it was something like a year and 2 month ago.

It's strange though, people always seem to think it was after a country, I didn't come up with the name, the first leader did, he was a good friend and I kept the name in homage to him.
