Why can you download the demo only from gamespot?

Why can't you download directly from lucasarts?

1) They probably want to save on bandwidth.

2) The probably worked out a deal with Gamespot to give them more publicity.


It's weird, but oh well. There are lots of mirrors posted in the official patch thread here (see sticky above).
