i don't think he had worked for apple for a long time, but i think he came up with a lot of the windows style interfaces that MS later knicked and we all know today...

like it or not, apple has been a part of our compy peoples lives in one way or another. Back in the very early 80s the first time I ever used a computer(even before the days of the commodore 64!) was some absolutely mammoth sized apple machine....we were all quite amazed at the time, as it had a 'mouse' you could move the cursor on th screen around(believe me --- they were hardly slick and smooth scrolling like todays ones..)
