St. Helens blew up again, and although it doesn't look terrible bad I'm sure that's what the Romans also thought when Mount Vesuvius erupted, and we all know how that turned out.

On a semi-related note, hopefully this means that the super-eruption of Yellowstone(and our subsequent extinction) is nigh.

But only with further study of underground activity. For all we know this could just be a small sign the eruption is on the horizon.

But yeah, I heard something about this last night.

Yeah, I saw a program on it. It will cover most of nort america with Ash and lava, killing most people there, the ash will get into the atmosphere blocking out the sun for everybody in the northen hemisphere for a few years. Gonna get cold here.

It'll block out the sun everywhere, and it'll be many, many years before it starts to clear away.

Well, that sucks. ^_^

Of course, there's also the chance that an asteroid will crash into earth with the power of a 5 million mega-ton bomb also. :p

There are some other disasters "waiting to happen"

The whole side of la palma could fall into the sea if the volcano erupts again. "So" i hear you say, "what has that got to do with me, i don't live there", check out the images and you will see...

That wasn't the point, chances are they will be alright, if they are on the safe side of the island. It is the east coast of America that has the problem when a 100m high wave hits it.

You can run and but you can't hide... from Mother Nature. *evil cackle*

For some reason the image of Kreia (nature-ized) popped into my head.

If anyone can get BBC 2, there is a program about this on now.
