I have noticed that there is an abundance of Norwegians in this forum. People bring up Norwegian news, and if anyone says something in Norwegian, multiple people respond.

So i've been wondering, just how many Norwegians are on this forum?

*wonders why he put a "no" option on here*

wow, only you could come up with such a poll IG :p It probablywouldve been easier PMing one of teh dudes you know are norwegian :)

anyways, the Norwegians I am aware of are my buddy Pie, also Breton, Herminator, Dagobahn Eagle, Bjork and a couple of others whose name escape me...

Gothix is probably mistaken for Norwegian, although he is from Holland :)

Out of interest, the aussies at LFN that you'll see most often around are Me, Lynky, GonkH8er, BCanR2, Rythe and a few newer dudes that I see mainly see on the swforums part o town :)

I understand most Norsk, seeing how it's a Germanic language quite similar to Dutch.

Nope, are there really that may Norwegian people on this forum, I'd have though that American was by far the biggest proportion.

Yep. Good, ol' Norwegian viking here.

Pie, Dagobahn and Herminator are the other ones I know about who hang around here. There used to be a lot of Danish folks on these forums too, a few years ago.

And to get in the mood:

Actually, I know Kjo(too lazy to do the o)len in real life. Best friends we are, he's the one who introduced me to LF.

With that out of the way, I should know more than anyone else here (except for him) if he's Norwegian or not.

Sadly, I don't know.

But I bet he is, since a lot of people where I live are from Norwegian descent.

Except for me.

No. I am not Norwegian. And before you make another poll, I am not German, British, French, Spanish Finnish, Swedish, Polish, Czech, Russian or any European. Amazingly, I don't live in Madagascar. :)

Guess what? No! I'm not Cambodian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian, Polynesian, Micronesian, Korean, Vietamese, Laosan or Turkish. Amazingly, I don't live in Portugal!

And I'm not Portuguese.

You really need to sort out your Norway facts. It's the 100th aniversary of the break from Sweden, but this celebrates the constitution, signed in 1814, in the small time Norway was almost completly free. Along came the Swedes.

Vikinor
05-17-2005, 05:47 PM
Oh well. I don't concern myself with Norwegian history. Except for their viking history cause vikings are awesome Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.

And the 100th year anniversary IS this year right?

Besides, as long as you're bad-mouthing Swedes, it's ok.

Neat thread, this.

The 100th anniversary is in June, yes. But yes, Norway existed long before that;).
