More...realistic??

Hi guys im doing a twilek model and im skinning the head/face, i think its looking good but it still looks to me like a drawing, is there any tutorial or what should i do to make the skin look more like a skin??

its half done, but i ask it now cuz i want to know what to do once i've done everything, thnx (btw forget of the right side, ill mirror the other)

You'r egoing very well. First finish the diffuse color map with all the detail. You can lateradd some more layers, with a skin texture, plain skin.
What I usually do is, have plain colored layer to define the main color, add another layer set to hard or soft light mode, and paint only in black and white to define detail, then use another b/w overlay layer which give the skin the right texture.

Check this site for base textures. You gotta work more on the levels and saturation to get a life-like look.
