It is not online, and never will be. There's no need to ruin a game as good as KOTOR with (ewww...) multiplayer.

As for what KOTOR II is about, go and play it... It would take too long to explain, and you can always go to the chronicles section at the official site.

It could be fun, I agree, but that game allready exists... it is called Star Wars Galaxies.

KOTOR will never have multiplayer, it is a single player RPG and it will stay that way. If it had a multiplayer function it would conflict with the Galaxies product, and LA does not want that.

Nah, a Co-Op function would not interfere with the galaxies game. They could just have a list of premade missions. Have about 3 people per server going at it against enemies with cutscenes and other levels. You know, have maybe 20 premade missions (or condenced bits of the game) You know like the whole imperial base thing on Manaan. Or then you could all play the last level. Theres just no saving, someone would leave... and your down a teammate untill someone else joins.

Hmmm... So how would you work the combat then? What if someone in the party pauses the game because they want to queue up a series of combat actions? I guess the other two players would just hang loose until the other player is ready to rumble... Nah, KotOR just isn't set up for a multiplayer environment. I have to agree with RedHawke that SWG is the way to go for multiplayer, or BF 2 maybe.
