What does Csports.net do ? Csports.net provides a service for gamers who play online (FPS) games. We view what happens online, and use the information we gather to rank all players and clans globally. And we use the information to create detailed statistics and services like flashbanners and personalized ladders and WebPages.

I'm #6 in OJP Basic. Wow. ;) I can guess who some of those above me are!

Except how did I get a score in MovieBattles? I don't think I ever played, unless it counted the time I fired up a server by myself just to test it.

Nice idea (loved ngStats for UT), but I don't think think I'd pay $5 a month for the "premium features."

It should mention which server you played on aswell. Perhaps that gives you some info you need. Ofcourse you don't have to take the premium feature, in the base, we're a free service. All basic stats can be viewed free of charge.

Well with the help of developers we can track whatever they give out via the Master Server List. Our methods are well described in our FAQ.

Well, actually, after thinking about it for a bit, I don't think it's a bot. I think the player just happened to have a playername that looks similar to the ones that are randomly generated by OJP Basic.

I've known about this for a long long time. Hell, I even have a Gold Account (only because i'm a long-serving member though :P). Unfortunately, I find it pretty inaccurate for JA (althoguh i liked it for 1.6), and it's kind of slow now.

Still fun to use heh. :)

With your feedback we can make it better :-). Indicate to us what the bots are and we'll delete them. If we're not tracking you, that can be, but if you submit the IP& port of the server we're not picking up we'll add it straight away.

just one example: for the ojp mod, it only records the ffa maps in the maps section yet it records siege and ctf in the frags count. not only that the ranking combines all frags i gather so while 100 or 2 might be a decent frag count going through the holocron/jedimaster cycle, its easy to get 1000 or so going through the ctf/siege cycle

With the help of the community and especially the developers we can seperate the gametypes. I'll try to consult with the dev's.

i think its better to classify the ranks using gametypes rather than mods... the differences among say xmod, ja+, base, ojp, forcemod etc etc ffa are mimimal compare to the differences among siege, ctf, duels, and ffa of any given mod, (like what you are currently doing to base...)

You should also record kills by what weapon the kill was gotten with.

You should also list captures, assists and goals completed (if that's possible).

I know those things are listed in the console, and the data should be retrievable somehow.

Also who you were killed by in an individual game. Like ngstats for Unreal Tournament, you should be able to look at an individual match (or game on a certain date) and see who killed who and with what. ;)

im assuming they only compile data sent to the master server, ie name, points, ping

PING should effect your ranking, I mean, if you were pwning with 400 ping, you have some skill... or incredible luck...
