View Full Version : Would Revan have won?

What about it? Would Revan have been able to beat Bastila and her cadre of Jedi on the bridge of his Sith Destroyer, or did she have the numbers necessary to simply overwhelm him?

I am not sure, I personally think if Malak had not backstabbed his master everything would be a whole lot different but thats just my assumption. I mean Palpatine owned 2 Jedi masters in ROTS and had his new apprentice finished the third off and seeing as how Bastila was not yet a master I doubt she would have stood a chance against Revan. Just my opinion though :)

I agree with The_Maker. I think that Revan was more than a match for Bastila, a mere padawan, even with more Jedi. After all, Revan wasn't close to being beaten when he was killed by Malak.

Given how powerful Reven is after you Jedify him I'd say yes. Although Kavar might have been able to take him, with help.

bastila was level 4 while revan was reset to to 1 after that so it wouldve been over in a flash with bastila being captured for her batlle meditation because as we no revan was a stradigest

I think he would have defeated them. There's 4 including Bastila isn't there? Also, the game doesn't make any mention of whether the Jedi with Bastila were Masters (corerct me if I'm woring).

Revan would have wupped there asses and thats a Fact because Bastila carp at the start and plus she had a single bladed lightsaber which she hasn't even got the first skill on so i say Revan could easily of taken out her and the other jedi:)

Yeah, I think Revan most likely would have won the fight on the bridge with Bastila and the other 3 jedi she had with her. Revan was just too powerful a Force user. Since Bastila and her fellow Jedi were in front of Revan, I can see Revan using Force Lightning to zap them all then quickly moving in to cut down those who weren't able to resist this fearsome dark side Force attack. After that I think Revan had the benefit of being battle hardened from the Mandalorian Wars and would have been able to find a way to finish off the remaining Jedi.

In reference to what The_Maker stated I don't think referencing SW movies with KotOR is always a straight up comparison. KotOR is set 4000 years before the events portrayed in the movies and so because of that big time gap I think there are a lot of differences between the two. One example is the use of a lightsaber to absorb a force lightning attack. We see that in the movies but that ability isn't portrayed in KotOR.

There was five, but that Republic Officer went off and decided that he was a match for the Dark Lord of the Sith...

He-he-he. Yes, and he sure didn't live to regret his mistake, did he. ;)

I find Revan to be more of a..Darth Maul type Sith, I say this, because Revan would of been ready to attack with a force power, but instead he held his blade as if he was about to charge or take up defense, but yeah he woulda handed their asses to em..I'm pretty sure atleast one of the Jedi accompanying Bastila had to of been a master, unless they were unintellegent and got killed as soon as they boarded the Destroyer..

09-23-2005, 06:42 PM
mmmm... i dont think there were any masters, mainly cause if there were you'd think they'd b indicated and if i remember right, besides bastila all the other 3 jedi wore the same robe and a master would definately have a more... 'ornamented' robe. and IMHO if revan vs jedi strikeforce did go in2 combat i reckon revan WOULD win but not without a few bumps and bruises while fighting the 3 unnamed jedi and bastila using battle meditation in the background.

09-23-2005, 07:07 PM
yes he would take them all, he is DARTH REVAN

Besides if Bastila had any jedi masters with her, theyd be in charge instead of Bastila and she was the one who was sent there to lead the strike force to bring back Revan alive. Revan would probably have defeated Bastila and her jedi because even though they outnumbered him, he had experience and had more force powers and better skills with the lightsaber than them. Although even if Revan defeated Bastila and her jedi, I doubt he'd kill her, he would likely have turned her to the dark side to use her battle meditation against the Republic. Revan is too intelligent to just simply kill her, that would be foolhardy even for a sith lord.

BUT, Bastila has battle meditation. Would that help bastila beat Revan(she using battle mediatation to help 3 jedis)? It is a question that can be answered! But Revan would win this battle and use the star forge to destroy the republic for good. Then the exile would be lv.50 by the time he defeated Revan army and Sion and Kreia and Nillius(excuse spelling).

09-23-2005, 09:29 PM
No, I don't think that BM would help since it requires great concentration. Even on the Star Forge, when she was using it there she was isolated. Anyways, in the heat of battle I doubt she could have concentrated long enough, since even if she got started Revan would have jumped over the Jedi and attacked her so she would have to stop.

me recons revan wouldve taken in a flash

09-24-2005, 08:50 AM
Revan easily would of defeated them, surely he was Vader of his time. But of course this wouldn't have made a good game. Or at least as good of a game as KOTOR.

09-26-2005, 01:39 AM
Given the plot of KOTOR2, I am going to go with: "Revan did win."

But yeah, I think Revan could have won the battle too, if s/he'd wanted to. I suspect Revan knew exactly what s/he was about though, and did exactly what s/he needed to do to get everyone in the right place to fight the True Sith.

We'll see, hopefully, in KOTOR 3, though!

Why are the Jedi Masters such cowards? They sent a Padawan to take down the Sith Lord? With TWO more Padawans? What the hell do they do? Sitting in the Jedi Enclave and meditating? Even Vandar! Blah.

Anyway, Revan would defeat them. The Jedi Masters' plan would have failed once again. Because they sent Padawans.

10-03-2005, 09:44 PM
Well maybe sending Padawans was what made the sneak attack possible in the first place. I'm guessing that Revan would have sensed a Jedi Master on board the ship Bastilla used to board his ship. Revan detecting the Jedi Master would have made every effort to blow that ship out of the sky and that would make it very hard for Bastilla to use her Battle Meditation effectively.

Anyway on to the question at hand. Yes I think Revan would have beaten Bastilla and her team. It's works out like this to me Revan > Malak >>>>>>>>(this might be alittle exaggerated) Bastilla. So seeing how Bastilla is no match for Malak and Revan was Malak's master it doesnt seem like she would have had a very good chance.
