New robe images, new moder asking for opinions

well then,

I'm a long time comp nerd, semi handy in photoshop, and i make mods for other games. This is the first time i've tried my hand at moding for the kotor series. That being said, i'd like some critisizm on the images that i've been working on. These robes work as thier own seperate item, but i have zero knowledge on how to place them ingame =/ so cheating or kse is the only way to get them at the moment. They work for both male and female char's, but at the moment they are restricted to the pc. One protects from fire damage (the red one heh) and the other from cold damage (blue). here are the stats (might be a bit high, but i use a hardcore/balancing mod anyway) and images. I appologise for the small image size, i didnt take the time to adjust the file size of the images before i uploaded them to photobucket =/

This robe belonges to <FullName>, Jedi Knight, who followed Revan to war against the wishes of the Jedi Council. After the wars' end, <FullName> attempted to return to the Jedi Order, but was exiled and wandered across the outer rim.

It was made to protect the wearer from the (cold or heat depending on which one) and allow for freedom of movement. Due to the nature of the person who wore it, it also tends to enhance the wearer's appeal to others. While it was worn in battle, it absorbed some of the wearer's natural resitance to force attacks.

If you would like to use these images for yourself (use them in your own mod, improve on them because they gave you an idea, whatever), let me know and I will email them to you. any feedback would be welcome.

the "stitching" goes around the hem of the robe and around the back on the trailing edge. one problem that some might notice with the images, is that the stitching isnt on the very edge. i've found that the closer you get to that edge, the more blurred it appears =/, so i used the seam that comes with the default ingame images for that model. I'll get some images of the backs up later. aside from the small bits of trim, they are fairly simple robes. I know simple works very well for jedi types ;) but I was wondering if anyone had any other possible ideas, or if ppl think i should just release them so they can all get a chuckle over the new nub in town ;)

sorry, its a running joke between my sister and i :P . The first time she saw my character, she went - 'omg, jesus with a lightsaber!' i laughed, then put on a dark jedi robe, one of avol's hoods, and pulled out a sword. 'look, now im ninja jesus!'

Lookin' pretty good man I would only say on the red one "fire robe" that I think the robe itself would look better darker gray or blackish gray instead of a more neutral one.

The robes look nice. My only suggestion is for screenies is to amp up the brightness so that it is easier to see the detail.

This robe belonges to <FullName>, a Jedi Knight who followed Revan to war against the invading Mandalorians. This particular robe was made by the Jedi Knight Atris as a gift to her friend to try to make <FullName> see the wisdom of the council, even if it was to late. Atris then went on to become a member of the Council, and because of her feelings for <FullName>, her reaction at the trial of that Jedi was more then she would have wished.

This robe was designed to protect the wearer and offer freedom of movement. It also enhances the wearer's wisdom and awareness, in the hopes that it would help lead the wearer back to the path that the creator thought was right

Great textures. I love the detail. I wish I could put something together like that. My texture skills are about par with the game, sub-par to you, and thats talking highly of myself. Can't wait to get my hands on them. :) Keep them coming.

I really like what you have done with the robes. I particularly like the Fire Robe. Of course, the furry robe would be suitable for the time you spend at the academy on Telos! Keep up the good work. I patiently await the release of your mod.
