Has anyone determined the purpose of the various Dirty_____ fields found in .ARE (area) files? The values below are from 511Ond, the Merchant Quarter on Onderon.

Most modules do not have anything set for these values.

Label: DirtyARGBOne Field- Type: int Value: 2960685
Label: DirtySizeOne Field- Type: int Value: 4
Label: DirtyFormulaOne Field- Type: int Value: 1
Label: DirtyFuncOne Field- Type: int Value: 0
Label: DirtyARGBTwo Field- Type: int Value: 1973790
Label: DirtySizeTwo Field- Type: int Value: 4
Label: DirtyFormulaTwo Field- Type: int Value: 1
Label: DirtyFuncTwo Field- Type: int Value: 0
Label: DirtyARGBThree Field- Type: int Value: 328965
Label: DirtySizeThree Field- Type: int Value: 4
Label: DirtyFormulaThre Field- Type: int Value: 1
Label: DirtyFuncThree Field- Type: int Value: 0

Any ideas?

ARGB = Alpha, Red, Green, Blue??? Could it be a texture thing?

Could the DirtySize___ Category be related to a relational rendering size for a Model like Appearance.2da has to tweak the size of player models? That's only a shot in the dark depending on if that set of numbers ever changes from .ARE file to .ARE file.

I'm quite sure that's what they refer to, but after modifying an existing area that originally had all of the values set to zero to those that you see above, no apparent visual difference was noticed.

being labeled Dirty____ might it be some sort of lighting/shading effect that isn't entirely supported in the modules?
