Is it possible to move an item from TSL to KOTOR1 directly or is there a process.

Rule 14 states we are not allowed to discuss porting items from either game to the other game. Porting items from either game to the other game is also according to LucasArts illegal and any thread here discussing it will be locked quickly.

You can transfer mods from one game to the other but only if they dont use items and things that are present in one game but not the other, or mods that consist on new items not found in either game and created by a mod. The only other type of item or thing that can be transfered from one game to another is items and objects that currently exist in both games.

Gender restrictions on things like skins etc will crash the game as usually the item doesnt have a corresponding skin for the opposite sexs models. What items where you attemping to change anyway?

Oh and You really should have edited your first post with your second question rather then making a new reply. This is considered a no no around here.

You want the guys to wear the dancers outfit? o.0

As far as I know (havent got the game installed so cant check sorry) there isnt a model for the males that is linked to the model variation for the dancer outfit. So by pointing the males to a model they dont have it will crash the game as you found out. What you would need to do is find out the dancer outift model variation and then extract a model and mdx file from the bifs that is similar to what you want them to wear, change the name of the model to the dancer outfit variation, change the appearance.2da file to point to the model then reskin a texture for the model to look like a dancer outfit.**

Any other questions just ask.

** I know svosh made a boxer short wearing male skin that could be used for this if you wanted to use the base underwear model as your dancer outfit model. If you wanted to release the model you would need his permission of course.
