i was thinking. that around christmas/new years next year, we should organise a big meet up for everyone on the forums, say in london. the reason i say end of next year, it means we can all save our pennies, and us foreign folk have time to get our acts together, and that way, we can have a HUUGE meet.

opinions? i was told this has already been suggested, but i thought i would at least give it a go.

Or here's a plan. How about I meet you, alone, behind the 7/11 on W43rd?

:naughty:

There's just one problem, many of the swampies can't do that since we simply aren't old enough. I would love to do something like this, but these really good ideas hardly ever work out :(

That's fine, we don't need things being awkward. :xp:

I'll probably join in, depending on how school's going. Niner and I have to harrass Paul anyway, so yeah.

Meh. We'll see. I've already met enough of you weird Internet yahoos to last me a lifetime. But I guess a few more couldn't hurt. :p

My mom says never to meet people from the internet.

Because they'll do bad things to me.

I see London I see France I see ZBomber's underpants or that is what his mother is afraid of. Seriously I can meet anyone on the west coast of the good old USA. Other than that probably won't happen.

And London hates you.

Yeah, I know. Ever go to the Senate Chambers? They hate you too.

While it's a great idea... well, let's just say the money thing is an issue... as in 'I don't got none'... and am not likely to get any more anytime soon... while I do have a job, I haven't been to work since August 19 or so... just 'cause of school, ya know...

so if any kind of meetup is possible it would have to come to me (and no, I ain't tellin' where I am... my parents agree with TK-8252's)

TiE23

What about everyone near London meet up and everybody in America meet up the nearest place to them, otherwise i think its hard to do as not everyone from England or the US, so i bet it wont happen, be cool to see some people tho.

I been WANTING to do things like this for a while. Problem is, trips cost money. I'm old, and have alot of old people type expenses. If any of you clowns are ever near Chicago, pm me.

RoxStar
10-11-2005, 04:31 PM
I'm near Chicago Grooves, but I'm no clown lol :p

Would we set up chairs and have little banners above them that say certain forums? Would all the moderators have glocks to take care of any trolls taht wander bye?

Anywho, it sounds like a good idea, but maybe we should all have like a Quakefest online or something first :p

Everyone would need security detail if I attended. I'd be smacking people around with steel pipes.

Everyone should meet in Memphis instead.

<_<

El Sitherino

Location will not change. London is pretty much central in comparison to where our members live. Not to mention it's a much more convenient flight, and relatively lower cost.

Are we being serious about this? :p

Anyway, doubt my parents would let me meet you kooks. :D

Does everyone have to print out a little lable with their user name on?

Anyway, I think I could make london.

ET Warrior

I am rather confident I could never get the time off of work to make a trip to London...and if I could get the time off my family would probably be more excited to see me than you lot.

Plus, I'm pretty sure most of you aren't cool enough to handle my awesome presence.

I've been to London, I go there at least once or twice a year. So if I'm around at the time, why not. =)

Washington DC to London return - $439 incl. airport taxes

New York to London return - $411 incl. airport taxes

You can check how much it would cost from your city here; http://www.travelocity.com/ OR http://www.expedia.com/ keeping in mind that major hubs are less expensive to fly out of.

oh. my god.

its gonna cost me.....1500- two thousand RETURN to fly there.

that is such BS.
