Not sure how many of you guys and gals visit Ahto Spaceport (http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=325), so I'll post this here too. Swampie mods, feel free to kill the thread if it's Forum clutter ;)

Has UNICEF crossed the line? or do you think it's a good idea that's taken too long to get across?

* - can't find a link to the ad itself, just a "slideshow". If anyone finds it, feel free to post it (the link) ;)

Though I think this could be a "system shock" to some small child... I think it could be rather effective.

However, since it is aimed towards adults (feasibly ones who grew up with the little blue hellspawns)... one can only wonder if they (adult viewers) would think it's just 'humorous'... thus, losing the edgy "effectiveness" of the message altogether...

I think it is a good idea, and they are only showing it after nine. I don't think anyone will find it funny and if they do they will probably feel guilty aftrwards and donate.

I don't think it has audio (I'm on a MAC and Windows Media Files play funky sometimes)... but it's at least a better 'visual'.

There is sound, but nothing special. Just the happy smurf sound and some weak explosions.
