Beta very laggy [Archive]

I just got the beta for Battlefront II and I lag so much. I have cable modem, so I dunno what's going on. Is it laggy for everyone else?

My specs:
Athlon 1.0 Ghz
768 Mb RAM
64 Mb NVidia Geforce 2 MX

Not too much laggy for me, though I'm on Internet2. Host your own server, then join it. See how much lag you have then.

Check the minimum specs for the game, your system specs looks too low. You are going to get lag with only a 64mb video card. At the very least make sure all in game video settings are set to low. Maybe time to upgrade my friend!!

The Beta keys were limited, they were all gone ages ago.

^LOL, I got one of the last key :D The final game is also very laggy, I only had one server that was playable :(

Even if you have a cable modem, you may still experience lag in a multiplayer game. This is because the data still has to travel between your computer and the host's. You'll get less lag if you play on a server with lower ping (less than 150 or 175 preferably) or, like zerted says, host your own server.
