How will the Heros be controled? Will you have to research them, do they come in at a certain time, or do you get them in the begining?

One of your employees who's a regular at the un-official Petroglyph forum for EaW, who goes under the name Delphi there, said the game, and I quote "The game ends at ANH". Is this a false statement and he merely ment the Tech Tree ends at ANH?

We(us and Lucasarts) are both unsure because of the time its taken to get any sort of reply back and the fact I have arranged this live chat, which - lets face it, is more fun than a tradtional Q&A.

Depending on whats decided, there will be another Q&A or even another live chat at a later date.

How will multiplayer skirmish's be handled when there are more than two players? Will it be all imperials vs rebels, all v all or have the ability to have Imps and rebs as allied team mates?

Why aren't the Republic and Seperatists included in the game? What are the chances of an expansion being released containing these sides?

Will there be a 'civ editor'? (ie So players can take in-game units, technologies etc and create their own faction)

Will units gain veterancy over time? If so, will this apply to both ground and space forces?

Will the game be moddable with XML? Also will you feature stuff about the mods on your main site? One last question will you release a tech tree along with all the units before the launch of the game? sorry i had so many questions

What will be done about heroes and bounty hunters to make sure that they are not overpowered, in comparison to regular units?

You've said in an interview that planets can rebel. How does this work, exactly? Do all planets have a population loyalty measure for each faction? If that is the case, how would that work on Neutral worlds? Does the Death Star affect loyalty or the chance for worlds revolting?

We do know that every planet gives whoever controls it a specific bonus. But we dont know exactly what all the planets bonuses are as of now. For heroes, I think its along the same lines. But you might get some from completing missions and the like.

My only question is have they decided if we can name our ships or not

as has been said previously, keeping a ship thats named something alive is alot more imersive than keeping just a standard ship alive

oh, and can we name fighter squadrons as well?

I would like to see a complete list of units, and structures, heros etc... maybe in a tech tree format
