FIVE LONG YEARS HAVE PASSED SINCE THE DOWNFALL
OF THE SITH LORDS DARTH SION AND DARTH NIHILUS, AND
TEN SINCE REVAN'S DISSAPPEARANCE INTO THE UNKNOWN.
THE JEDI ORDER STRUGGLES TO REBUILD ITSELF AFTER NEAR
EXTINCTION, AND THE REPUBLIC FIGHTS TO STAY AFLOAT IN
A GALAXY OF UNCERTAINTY.
ALTHOUGH THE SITH HAVE SCATTERED AFTER THE DEFEAT OF
THEIR MASTERS, THE JEDI KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NOT SEEN
THE END OF THEIR EVIL. MORE DISTURBINGLY, IS A SINISTER DARKNESS
WHICH GROWS IN THE BACK OF ALL OF THEIR HEARTS AND THEIR MINDS,
A DARKNESS WHICH LIES IN WAITING. YEARNING TO MANIPULATE AND SPEW ITS POISON INTO THE HEART OF THE FLEDGLING JEDI ORDER, A FRAGILE REPUBLIC, AND THEIR MANDALORIAN ALLIES, WHO STILL REMAIN DISTRUSTFUL YEARS BEYOND MALACHOR V.

"Studying maps again, Disciple?" Kira Starr, the Jedi Exile, asked, entering the main room of the small freighter, the Ebon Hawk.
"Yes...it seems that though the Nav Computer is still locked, there are faint hints as to where Revan went before he disappeared..."
"And you're trying to find them..." she finished, gazing at the rotating hologram of a moon and its surrounding stars, trying to figure out what the Disciple saw. "Of course, I was never as skilled with details as you..."
"Believe me," he said with a chuckle, "If you stared at these maps as much as I have, you'd see it too."
The Exile laughed softly, leaning against the machine. Revan, where have you gone?
"How you two can stare at those maps for so long, I'll never get."
Kira looked up, to see the Scoundrel Atton walking in from the hallway that led to the ship's cockpit. "I thought you were playing pazaak with Mira."
"Ah, you get kinda bored after beating the same person over and over again." he said with one of his devil-may-care grins. "Anyway, we're running low on fuel and supplies, so I'm gonna set the Hawk down at Nar Shadaa."
"Why Nar Shadaa? Couldn't we go to Dantooine or some place less...slimey?" the Exile asked with a small smile. Oh how she hated that planet. Especially after she had to wear that aweful dancers outfit for that slime ball of a hutt...Atton wouldn't let her live it down for weeks afterward.
"Like I said, we're low on fuel. It'll cost a fortune to fuel her up completely anywhere but Nar Shadaa...that and I kinda lost most of our credits."
"Don't tell me..." the Exile said with a sigh, "Pazaak?"
"Hey, you guys were the ones who encouraged me to go to the cantina while we were on Telos!! Just 'cause juma juice came two for the price of one that night, doesn't mean that its my fault..." he said innocently.
Kira couldn't help but smile. "Of course it's not your fault, Atton." she said, crossing to him and putting a hand on his shoulder, "You'll just have to be on galley duty for the rest of the week." she said, smiling at the protests that came thick and fast.
"Oh, stop your whinning, you big baby." she said jokingly, tapping him on the cheek, "C'mon, let's get going."

A large ancient stone door slid open slowly, a loud grinding noise proceeded, as the heavy door opened. light shone in a room covered in ancient hieroglyphics. A figure draped in black enterred the room. The figure was clearly male, tall, he wore a suit of black armor which glistened from the sunlight outside the ancient room. His face could not be seen, just blackness. His head and left shoulder were covered by a long flowing black cloak. He proceeded through the room towards the far wall, which slid open slowly as he approached. It revealed a long dark corridor, at the end of the corridor was another room, which seemed to be glowing faintly with a incandescent blue light.
The cloaked figure headed down the hallway eagerly, his footsteps clicking on the floor of the ancient hallway. The man exited the hallway into a massive room, that was illuminated by a large blue/black crystal on a pedestal in the heart of the chamber. He stared out of the darkness at the crystal, he glided towards it. As he approached it began to glow all the brighter, and more intense. This dark figure now hovered over the brightly glowing artifact, its bue light reflecting off of his black armor. Yet his face still remained in the shadow of Darkness concealed by the cloak in which he draped himself. The eerie figure placed his black gauntlet covered hands around the gem, which with his touch began to glow a brilliant blueish color. He could feel it begin to heat up, and almost pulse within his grasp. He lifted it off of the pedestal hand held it at his side in his right hand.
A low grumbling sound echoed behind him. He turned sharply, to see two lumbering beasts enter the antechamber. They were Terentateks, beasts of pure darkside energy, and they eagerly looked to chew on what they saw as an intruder, and a tasty new morsel. The reared back their horned heads, and showed a mouth full of dripping white fangs.
The figure in black did not budge, he stood like statue, as the beast lumbered slightly closer. He slowly raised his right containing the ancient gemstone, and muttered something under his breath, the stone instantly began to shine with blinding light, and the whole chamber shook, as the Dark Figure holding it hissed in an ancient tongue. The two beasts seemed to recognize this dark bearer and stepped back and bowed, as the figure proceeded out past them and into the daylight of the Universe.......

Brandon's ship came out of hyperspace. "Looks like I finally defeated the Old Sith Empire." he thought with relief. "Where to go..." he said to himself. "Maybe Nar Shaddaa." He prepared his ship for another jump, failing to notice his fuel gauge was nearly empty. HE pushed a button and jumped to hyperspace.
(I'm going to arrive after the Exile reaches Nar Shaddaa. OK, FFWM12?)
12-12-2005, 09:12 PM
Nar Shadda was just as dull and slimey as ever. A heavily entoxicated man stumbled out from the bar, yelling random profanities into the empty street. The man ((No, it is not me)) stumbled and fell to the ground. Pulling himself up by the wall, he began to utter a constant stream of threats directed at nobody in particular.
A strange noise (http://www.dwwa.net/dr3/Claws/longlanding.wav) filled the air, and the man fell over trying to identify the source of the sound. A strange blue box (http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/40953000/jpg/_40953683_tardis203.jpg) appeared out of nowhere, as if it were only now fading into existance. The man got up slowly, and stumbled over to the box.
"Whut da hehlll," he said drunkenly, smacking the side of the box with his fist.
*Please don't punch the TARDIS, sir. She's already damaged enough, you know.*
The man spun around and found himself looking at a man in the oddese assorment of clothing he had ever seen. He was wearing a dark red trench coat over a patched sweatshirt, again over a clean white dress shirt. He wore strange black pants, a lopsoided hat, and an extremely long scarf around his neck.
*Hello there,* he said in a strange accent. *I'm The Doctor.* The Doctor extended his hand towards the drunk man, who promptly fell over unconscious. *O dear,* said The Doctor.
"What's going on, Doctor?" cam a voice from the box. A short woman with brown hair and a tight red suit (for those of you who didn't watch Doctor Who in the 60's and 70's, this is Nyssa) (http://nexus.mythicdesigns.net/selector/graphics/st--6a05.jpg) appeared behind The Doctor, followed by another young woman in a purple flight attendeants uniform (Tegan). (http://www.bytesend-inc.com/drwho/wl2x.jpg)
*Well Nyssa, Tegan: I think that was our official welcome to, uhm.... wherever we are.* The Doctor walked off in the direction of the docks, Tegan and Nyssa following behind.
((I hoping to meet the Exile when she is disembarking from the Ebon Hawk))
12-12-2005, 09:47 PM
"Urgh, did I ever tell you how much I hate this planet?" Kira said as she stepped down the loading dock.
"Yeah, it may smell, but it has one hell of a cantina." Atton said with a smile.
"Whatever Atton. Anyway, what do we need now?" the Exile asked.
"Food and fuel. I'm sure Disciple could handle the food. You and me should go see our old friend Motta the Hutt." the scoundrel said.
12-12-2005, 09:54 PM
(Prepare for boom-boom)
Revan's ship exited hyperspace above Nar Shaddaa. A red light started to flash. "What the?" Revan said in suprise. He looked at his fuel gauge. It was on dead empty. "God dam*it." Brandon cursed. His ship was dragged down into the Nar Shaddaa atmosphere. The ship was getting hotter. As the city in which the Exile and The Doctor were in had come into sight, Revan was ready to jump out of the ship. A large BOOM sounded throughout the area and Revan's ship had crashed into the ground. Brandon was on the ground as if he were out cold.
12-12-2005, 10:11 PM
The Doctor, Tegan, and Nyssa come around the corner and find themselves looking at a battered old freighter.
*My goodness, is that what I think it is? The Ebon Hawk? Yes it is, I'm sure of it. What a beautifal ship.*
"It's a piece of junk, Doctor." siad Tegan. "I'm suprised it can fly."
*Now now, Tegan, there's no reason to be rude.* The Doctor begins walking over to the Ebon Hawk's loading dock, where a small group of people where standing. He saw a somewhat short woman with ((blonde? Can't tell in the pic)) hair stood at the front of the group.
*I recognize her from somewhere.* The Doctor said suddenly. *Her names, uhm.... Kari? Kera? Karla? no, that's an Earth name...* The Doctor continued to think of her name as he led Tegan and Nyssa towards the loading ramp.
((FYI, I have an explanation as to how The Doctor knows the Exile - it involves future incidents, but it's only a way of allowing me to know the past of the Exile ( as in haing her tell it to me in the past - actually, in the future). It has no bearing on the story.))
12-12-2005, 10:23 PM
((OOC:....ooookay, going to pretend I followed that :P ))
The three looked up as a ship came soaring in through the atmoshpere at top speeds.
"That things out of control." Atton pointed out as it came rocketing passed them. They cringed as they heard a sickening crunch and a small explosion as the ship hit somewhere in the levels of the planet beneath them.
"Oh yeah, I definatly hate this planet." Kira said, turning around again, but stopping. Three people were coming towards them. Two women and a man. They were dressed very strangely. Kira, even in all her travels, hadn't seen that kind of outfit before, and figured she probably never would. The threesome came closer to them, and the Exile called out, "Can we help you?"
12-12-2005, 11:54 PM
*Well, I'm not sure. It's a pleasure to see you again. Of course you won't remember, it hasn't happened yet...
I am The Doctor, and these are my companions, Nyssa of Traken and Tegan Jovenka. We are fellow travellers. You'll have to pardon the abruptness of our arrival.* The Doctor extends his hand to the Exile and Atton in turn ((I don't know if anyone else is supposed to be with you.))

Karda swung his lightsaber at the training droid, his blade deflecting off the energy resistant shield. Jumping up over the head of the droid, he slashed at the head, then dived down underneath and sliced at the legs, at which the droid jumped to evade. Rolling forward, Karda came up right behind and stabbed the droid in the back. The yellow training saber merely disabled the droid with an electrical surge.
His personal comlink beeped. Wiping the sweat off his face, he picked it up. "Jedi Knight Karda, can you read me? This is Jedi Master Verga."
"Yes, Master Verga, do you need something?" Karda asked quietly.
"There is a small task we need you to undertake. One of our Jedi Padawans on a mission near Nal Hutta spotted what appeared to be the Ebon Hawk. We would appreciate it if you went there and investigated the matter."
"I just need some time to get the ship ready, as soon as I can I'll leave." Karda replied, shutting off his comlink.
Once his personal fighter had been fueled and repaired of some damage taken during a mission to Xagobah, he got in and looked at the navicomputer. Nal Hutta- or perhaps Nar Shaddaa, he wouldn't understand it if the Jedi Exile or the current owner of the Ebon Hawk landed on the "Glorious Jewel." Connecting to the hyperspace attachment, the fighter headed off to Nar Shaddaa, vanishing in hyperspace.

Rex came up to the ebon hawk. He inhaled and said to himself 'Nothing bad is going to happen. Just stay clam'
"Hello" He said to the group "I work for that garage behind me and I was wondering if your ship needed full or repairs?"

A slender figure cloaked in black stared at the wreckage of the crashed ship from a balcony overhead. After several seconds of watching for the possibility of survivors, the figure shrugged and vanished into the small apartment. Once out of sight, the hood came off. Long dark brown hair fell just past the young woman's shoulderblades and she let the dark cloak slide off her shoulders.
"Reason number one I hate this place," she murmured, glancing back toward the balcony. "Death trap."
With that, she turned and stared into a mirror with unseeing eyes. After several seconds, she focused her gaze and took in what the mirror was showing her... and shuddered.
"How the hell did I get to looking so tired?" she murmured. She rubbed her blue-gray eyes and turned away from the mirror. Suddenly, her comlink beeped.
"What is it?" she asked.
"The Ebon Hawk landed not far from you," the voice on the other end said. "We'll pay you to get close to them and find out why they're here."
"Sounds boring," the woman said with a frown. "How much?"
The voice named a price and the woman shrugged. "Fine. Work's slow these days. Anything's better than nothing."
She pulled her cloak over her shoulders and glanced in the mirror one more time. The tiredness on her face could work well for her this time.

A soft and gentle wind whistled through the ancient and dark forest. The sounds of the struggle known as life could be heard throughout, as ancient predators chased even more ancient prey. The sunlight barely shined through the dark thick foliage that hung from the branches of the dark place.
A suddenly as it began, the noises of the forest stopped, the wind stopped blowing, the wildlife stopped chirping, and everything went still in a clap of thunderous silence.
The dark figure, draped in black, made his way through the ancient woodlands flanked by two large Terentatek, which many believed to be extinct.
The hooded figure came to a clearing , and stopped to observe, what was the remnants of and ancient city, spread out along a long golden boulevard. In the distance at the end of the main way, was a rather monlithic structure, an ancient palace of sorts, casting its shadow over the entire valley.
The dark figure raised his right hand which contained the glowing gemstone, and gestured toward the palatial structure. The two Terentatek lumbered forward, as if to scout out the surroundings for their dark master. The figure continued behind his vile beasts, toward the ancient monolith.
He had reached the bottom of the structure, which presented him with a rather long stairway up to an enormous opening. He gestured two his beast escort again, who then proceeded to guard the stairway, as their master ascended upwards into the Darkness.........

Coughing, Brandon crawled out from under the wrekage. He had sustained major injuries in the crash. He had a deep gash in his left thigh and his right arm had been severed by a steel cable snapping. When he straightened up, however, he saw a Medical facility.
'I didn't know they had these on Nar Shaddaa' Brandon thought as he limped towards the entrance. The door hissed open and he saw a serious looking man. He appeared to be the no-tomfoolery type and rushed to Brandon seeing him in such bad shape.
"Oh Good Lord! What happened to you, my good man?" the healer asked him, shocked.
"Crash." was all that Brandon said and collapsed from the loss of blood from his stump of his arm and his thigh.
6 hours later, he came to in a Kolto tank. He 'swam' to the glass and thumped on it. The healer started, turned and came to the tank. 15 minutes later, Brandon was all dressed in some good clothes. It was then that he realised that his arm had been replaced and he asked the healer about it.
"Those are specially constructed top-of-the-line prosthetics." the healer told him. Brandon realised that such thing were costly.
"How much did they cost you? I'm willing to pay." he said.
"Oh, no." the healer said. "Take it as a gift from me, Master Revan."
Brandon was taken aback, but he nodded and gave the man 500 credits anyway and left the facility.

Certain place's, certain worlds, have a depth of darkness in them. When a large group of force users gather they create an impression in the places they step. Korriban, a dead world, abandoned by the sith. Sitting in solitutde for ten years, with only a brief visit by the remnants of the Jedi, and the Sith. Now another arrives in a once excevated valley, but ten years have taken their toll. Now all that is there is the hatred and fear of the long dead Sith.
Brax kneals in the center of a small cave, the look of it says that once it had been a building perhaps, but wind and sand have made it into a cave. When he had passed through the door it looked as though somebody had sealed it open with an arc welder, or perhaps a lightsaber. He knew what those were. He lifted his head slowly, pulling back the hood, revealing black eyes that searched the small chamber, several paths led off in different directions. What would he find in this abanoned school?
Brax pushed slowly to his feet, his hands flexing in their gauntlet's, his eyes flickering about the small chamber again. Fear made him stay still, sounds echoed through the ruins. He strained to hear them better, slowly words formed.
The voice was gravely, like it had been splintered, cracked, like the vocal chords had been destroyed, and rebuilt. "Let her go." It said, an echo of a past event. Brax chose a direction, and moved solmely, heading down a dark coridor, he could see ancient traps along the wall's, the faint smell of long used up poison. He wrinkled his nose in thought, the passage stopped, turned left, and right. He glanced in each direction, to his right was a chamber, a broken computer terminal, peices of cages, a half dozen or so animal skeleton's. Nothing of use, he looked left. A door, still in tact.
He stepped toward the door, and traced it with his clawed gauntlet's. No power, but he found the seems that closed it tight, and his claws slid between, and he managed with some effort to open the door enough to crawl between the heavy panels.
"Here's to hoping that doesn't shut." He whispered under his breath, this room was mostly in tact still, and he moved to an old table, vines did grow in from the wall farthest from him, but they had not yet taken over. He ran his fingers over the surface.
"Everybody leaves a trail." He whispered the words to himself, images of many harsh tortures ran through his eyes, a face he recognized as the one identified as Revan, and another, a woman's face ... blonde hair. They had no been tortured, but they had left an impression.
A noise made him spin, his hands fell outward open palmed ... blood red claws seeming to almost glow with energy. But then he saw what had made the noise, a small terminal. Somehow it still had power, he moved to it, knealing ... tracing wire's. He tapped claws at the keypad, arching a brow. Punishment was still scheduled for somebody named "Kira Starr" he wondered at this, it was newer than the rest of the stuff in here. Not from the time of the academy. There was nothing else though, ancient controls that no longer worked. He turned and went to the door, sliding through again.
There was nothing more for him here. He had discovered a second one to search for, this Kira Starr. The force would have to decide where he would go next, he knew little of this place, but as he passed one of the tomb's he had noticed on his way in he paused.
"This is the tomb of Ludo Kressh," the voice of an old woman ... he frowned.
Then another voice came to him "so I'm gonna set the Hawk down at Nar Shadaa."
Where was Nar Shadaa, and this did not sound so much like an echo of the past, but ... he had to go to Nar Shadaa, and find this Hawk, he knew that.

The small little fighter Karda was controlling came down into the planet of Nar Shaddaa, speeding across the skyscrapers. Karda decided to put the ship down on one of the landing pads on this side of the planet, hoping that what the force was telling him wasn't wrong. If he was- he would just have to look elsewhere.
The ship stopped, then hovered in air for a second, then slowly came down to the docking area. It was poor and certaintly wouldn't offer any maintenance of any sort, but Karda didn't care. He in fact was rather relieved that he probably wouldn't have to argue with some alien brute claiming the rusting piece of metal he had landed on.
A few feet away, a Gand looked at him curiously. Watching Karda's movements along the platform, he kept a close watch on him until he dissappeared through a door. The Gand ran to the door, his small feet pattering on the metal ground. The man looked around uncertaintly, then headed into the local cantina.
Without watching him further, the Gand pulled out a small comlink. Resting his hand on one of the twin holdout blasters he had on his body, he waited for a moment. Then, as the comlink beeped, he jabbered into it rapidly, making sure no one around him could hear. A Jeedai has come to the moon... And he's not the only one.

Brandon woke up. He started to smell smoke. He turned around and saw big flames approaching him. Since the wreckage was so low, he had to crawl. He struggled to find a way out. The fire was getting closer. He seen an exit. He crawled his way towards it. The flames thouched Revan's feet. He yelled in pain, but he couldn't stop crawling towards the exit. When he got out, he was able to stand, but his feet hurt like hell. He walked around until he seen a spaceport. "I can get a ship there and fly off to Corusant." he thought. When Brandon got inside, he turned and seen the Ebon Hawk. "My ship..." he thought. Brandon approcahed his ship and seen 4 people: a strange man wearing strange clothes, a woman in purple, another strange woman, and a familiar looking woman. He walked into their conversation. "Hello, my name is Brandon Oneda, but peolple know me as Revan. Can you help me?" Revan told Kira. He then fell to the ground and passed out.
12-14-2005, 12:25 PM
Kira opened her mouth, about to begin telling this 'doctor' just how crazy he and his story sounded, when a second man came up to her. He had the look of a mechanic, and had a tool belt around his waist.
"Hello" He said, "I work for that garage behind me and I was wondering if your ship needed full or repairs?"
She turned to him for a moment, "The Hawk is fine, but she needs a fuel-up."
As the man departed to do his work, yet another came up to her. This one was cut and bruised quite badly and he had the smell of smoke about him. Had he been the pilot that had crashed moments ago? "Hello, my name is Brandon Oneda, but peolple know me as Revan. Can you help me?" he was able to choke out, before falling to the ground unconcious.
Kira, Atton, and Disciple exchanged a look. What the hell was going on here?
The Exile and Disciple went to the fallen 'Revan', the later pulling out medpacs and stimulants, begining the work of trying to bring the fallen man around.
"I think things need to slow down for a while." Kira mummbled, taking a quick glance around the landing pad and the rag-tag group of people that had gathered there.
"I don't think they will." Disciple responded, a wry smile coming to his lips.
"Feels like home." the scoundrel behind them said.
12-14-2005, 12:47 PM
The young woman left her apartment and made a few calls by comlink. Several minutes later, she was running from five very large men. She allowed herself a small smile, before throwing a look of panic across her face... and hurled herself through the door of the docking bay that held the Ebon Hawk. Seeing the little group gathered there, she hurried toward them, looking tired and panicked and collapsed at their feet.
"Don't let them get me," she gasped. One of the men peeked into the docking bay and called to the others. The young woman crawled forward, trying to get behind the group and to the ramp of the ship.
"Please," she murmured. "I haven't done anything..."
All five men now entered the docking bay and the leader approached the group with the other four a little behind him.
"She's ours," he said without introduction. "You must let us have her."
"Don't listen to him," the woman begged. "He's lying..."
"Silence, girl!" the man snapped. He turned back to the Exile and her group. "We've chased her a long way. Let us have her."
The young woman's blue-gray eyes pleaded with the group to protect her... to make these men leave.
12-14-2005, 01:17 PM
The Exile's eyes flashed as she scrutinized the men. She didn't like them.
"First, tell me who you are and what this woman is to you. She doesn't seem to have done anything wrong." Kira said, stepping boldly between the cowering woman and the band of men.
12-14-2005, 01:47 PM
"Who we are shouldn't matter," the leader answered. "What matters is that she is ours. And she has done wrong by running."

The figure cloaked in black had arrived at the top step, to the large entrance of the ancient structure. He proceeded inside, down a narrow dark ramp, which ended at a solid stone door, blocking the path further inside the structure. The dark being stood in front of the large dorr for several moment, before unleashing a blast of energy, so powerful, the stone exploded and crumbled before his feet.
As soon as the dust settled, he proceeded into the adjacent chamber, which even in the blackness of the lair, he could tell was enormous. He sloly held up his right hand which contained the brilliant blue crystal, which instantly ignited, and lit up the entire room. The place was indeed enormous the room seemed to go on for several miles, and other than some hieroglyphics, seemed rather useless.......that is until he saw a small hole in the wall surrounded by ancient text, just a few feet to his right. He turned, and after examining the scrawl for a moment, jammed the crystal into the hole, and stepped back a few steps.
The crystal instantly burst into a flashing luminous orb. The entire structure seemed to shake. In an instant, the floor dropped out everywhere in the room, except for the spot he stood at. He glanced down into the pit, and saw what it was he had desired.
The bridge of what seemed to be an enormous warship.
Outside the structure, the two Terentateks stood, awaiting their masters return. The ground in the entire ancient city, and valley for that matter began to shake violently, the beasts stood in total confusion, and disarray, as the whole valley they were in lifted off from the landscape around it. they turned to see the immense building behind them collapse and fall several thousand feet to the ground below. For the first time, the beasts felt fear, they had swallowed jedi whole, and survived the great hunt, but this was the first time they were truly afraid. That was until they saw their master, standing on top of the bridge, with his arms raised up in the air. They realized, that he was holding this enormous vessel in the air, with the same power that they served.
The wind blew his cape wildy around him, his face as always shrouded in darkness, as he raised this city sized vessel up off of the ground. HE could see for miles in every direction. The ancient city and valley that were built to conceal this great vessel began to crumble and fall to the ground which remained thousands of feet beneath them. He now had a clear view at the entire scale, and shape of this warship he had sought, as he stood on top of the bridge, the midday sun glistening of of his black armor clad form, his cape blowing in the wind. The hull was a dark silver color, and extended roughly 6 miles to the tip of the bow to the stern, it also seemed to be another mile in width, and another 1/2 mile thick. He could see his precious beasts quivering in fear several hundred feet below, at the foot of the bridge tower., but it was not their fear he wished to command. He lept from the bridge top, to its foot where the two Terentatek stood in awe. He could feel the fear flowing from their scaly hides, but they were loyal beasts. A small door slid open at the base of the bridge, where he proceeded, followed by his loyal creatures................

The newly and secretly trained Sith Lord walked out of what had been his home from his childhood. Darth Kreta, real name Holner Deas, the son of a Correlian crime lord before he became a Sith, raised his hood and walked to the docking bay of the underground temporary base on Rhen Var. He was going to find the Sith Lord who took the ancient Sith Warship defeat him and become the supreme ruler of the Sith Empire by any means necessary.
For it was said in ancient legend:
"Whosoever shall seeketh this Warship will find it only if he truly serves the Dark, but he does not deserve it if he were to fail in battle against another of his kind. The Universe will bow down before the victor in free will."
12-14-2005, 03:15 PM
Kira didn't move. Seeing what was happening, Atton joined her at her side.
"You know, maybe you should think twice about talking to her like that." he said, folding his arms.
12-14-2005, 03:17 PM
The cloaked figure stepped onto the bridge , as he did, all the lights, and tchnology inside sprung to life. The entire vessel was staffed by ancient Sith war droids. He walked through the command deck, the two hulking Terentatek lumbered in behind him.
He approached what was the bridges command chair, and lowered himself comfortably into it.
A battle droid approached him,"welcome master, the Basilisk and its crew are at your disposal. It has been 1,072 standard years since NAga Sadow activated this vessel." The spindly battle droid chirped. A low grovely hiss of a sound exuded from the cloaked figure, from a spot where his face was shrouded in darkness. "This battleship, is now mine, as are you droid, I know far more about this ship and its capabilities than you could ever hope to compute. I have searched for its location for far longer than anyone could know. Take us into hyperspace now." THe droid again spoke to the dark figure. "Master, the ships power supply is 78908747x99907 to the fifteenth power, which means enterring hyperspace while still in the atmosphere, will destroy the planet." The evil dark figure remained seated, and spoke again without emotion, just a cold grovelly sound. "Yes, I know, this way there will be no trace." THe droid saluted "As you desire master."
The ships 8 immense engine wells began tto burn a bright red, and the atmosphere around it seemed to sweel and expand. THe ship then launched forward at great speed, dissappearing into hyperspace, the shockwave of its departures sents scorching waves of enrgy through the planet, tearing the ancient world apart, and leaving it nothing more than an empty plot of dust and debris floating in space.

"Perhaps you should think twice about threatening us," the leader said. He was the largest of the men... seven feet tall and muscular all over. "Give us the girl and we'll leave you alone."
The girl backed slightly onto the ship's ramp and shook her head fearfully.
12-14-2005, 04:16 PM
Brandon woke up in a bed. He stepped out and put on the same armor he wore as Darth Revan. He walked out of the room and looked at the ship. Since he used the ship before, he knew exactly where the cockpit was. When he arrived at the cockpit, he seen the communication systems still worked. He turned it on to contact Carth Onasi, his old friend. "Carth, are you there Carth?" Revan said into the comm system. "Brandon, is that you?" Carth replied. "The one and only." Brandon told Carth. "I'm back and feeling good. How's Bastila?" "Bastila is fine. She really missed you." Carth told him. "I'm sorry I left. I had to defeat the old Sith Empire by myself. Do you now where Canderous Ordo is? Revan asked.
12-14-2005, 06:19 PM
"Perhaps you should think twice about threatening us," the leader said. He was the largest of the men... seven feet tall and muscular all over. "Give us the girl and we'll leave you alone."
The girl backed slightly onto the ship's ramp and shook her head fearfully.
*I'm sure this is all a misunderstanding, sir,* said the woman in the strange purple uniform. She bent down to the strangers side, making sure she was unwounded.
"She is ours! Stand aside, woman!"
The Doctor pulled out a small chain with a coin attached to it and flicked it, making it spin rapidly. He held it up to the man's eyes. *She has done nothing wrong,* he said. *Violence is not the way to solve the situation.*
The thugs eyes were slightly crossed, staring at the spinning coin. He knocked the object aside.
"She is of no use to us. Take her away, and may her filth never set foot on this planet again!" The group of men walked away, their shoulders hunched in a menacing way.
*I'm sorry you weren't able to find a violent solution, mr. Rand, but that was the best way to solve the situation." ((Note that The Doctor has introduced himself, but has not been told anyone elses name))
12-14-2005, 06:54 PM
((Uh... that's not quite what I had in mind, Doc... but whatever.))
The girl stood slowly, trying to catch her breath. The confusion she felt was visible on her face as she turned to the stranger with the coin-shaped object.
"What did you do to them?" she asked hesitantly.
12-14-2005, 07:36 PM
"What the frack was that?" Atton muttered out of the side of his mouth, "And how the hell does he know my name??"
"That's what I'm wondering. Of course, at the moment, I think that the only thing that would surprise me is if he knew Disciple's name." Kira replied.
"That'd be almost impossible. I don't even know that."
"Well, with this guy, it seems nothings impossible."
She turned to the 'Doctor' and his two assistants again. "I'd like to know that as well. And how you knew our names."
12-14-2005, 08:07 PM
*Well, to answer Mr. Rand's question, that was a form of deep hypnosis. It is a common ability among the people of Gallifrey.
As to how I know your names... that is a little more difficult to explain. I cannot answer that question at the moment - you wouldn't believe me if I told you; it took to long to gin your trust the last time we met. And no, I do not know the Disciple's name - though it was never a topic of discussion; or shall I say, it never will be.
I do, however, know that you are Kira Starr, and you are Atton Rand. I also know that you travel with two artificial intelligences called HK-47 and T3-M4 (who happened to get along very well with my old friend K9) as well as a woman named Visas Marr and a man named Bao-Dur.* The Doctor turned around and indicated his companions.
*These are my companions Nyssa of Traken and Tegan Jovenka. As I said, I am The Doctor.*
The Doctor put the coin and chain back into his inner pocket.
12-14-2005, 08:12 PM
The girl said nothing, but shuddered at the thought of hypnosis and what it had done to the men that were chasing her. With a little shrug she turned to the Exile and the others.
"So now that they've been introduced, I'd like to know who the rest of you are," she said. "So I know who to thank for standing up to giants for my sake."
12-14-2005, 08:18 PM
"Are you sure you're alright?" asked Nyssa. "You still look a little pale."
"Yes, you do look winded. Perhaps you should rest for a while." added Tegan.
12-14-2005, 08:26 PM
Kira looked to Atton, who seemed to be just as confused as she was. How'd the man know her companions? They had met before? He had gained her trust? What the hell was all this about???
Mentally shaking herself, she turned to the woman. There would be time enough to wonder about this later.
"As he said," she said, waving a hand in the Doctor's direction, "I am Kira Starr, the Jedi Exile. And this is my companion and pilot-"
"And handsomest scoundrel in the galaxy." Atton added jokingly.
"Atton Rand. But Nyssa and Tegan are right," Kira said, trying out the unfamiliar names, "You do look a bit shaken. Perhaps you should rest a while?"
"Are you sure we should do this?" Atton whispered to her so only she could hear, "We don't know her and-"
"She needs our help!" the Exile responded.
12-14-2005, 08:34 PM
"Perhaps she would prefer to stay in the TARDIS? It would much safer than.... your ship, ms. Starr." said Tegan, eyeing the Ebon Hawk as if it was a dead animal on the side of the road. Nyssa to, was looking at the EBon Hawk as if it were an old smelly dog.
The Doctor, however, was looking at her with great respect. *Ah, the Ebon Hawk. Beautiful ship, isn't she? Does she have the ionized hull yet?" asked The Doctor with genuine interest.
12-14-2005, 08:39 PM
"Er...ionized hull?" the Exile asked, bewilderment written across her face.
However, Atton had caught the looks that the two women were giving the Hawk "Look, I don't care how high-end and glossy this...Tardis thing is, but this ship right here is the fastest in the galaxy. It's seen and won more battles than you can count."
12-14-2005, 08:43 PM
"So has the TARDIS, according to The Doctor. And it can--" said Tegan ((yes, you are supposed to not like Tegan. She was always rude and arrogant)).
*Tegan, there's no need to be rude.* Interrupted The Doctor.*Besides, the TARDIS is far from "high end and glossy". She older than the Ebon Hawk* He turned to face Atton. *The Ebon Hawk is a truly beautful ship, mr. Rand. I never though I'd see her again. Are the engines still OK, or have they developed the drag yet?*
12-14-2005, 08:44 PM
"I...I," the girl stammered. "I could use some rest..." she admitted. A look of guarded fear entered her eyes. "But Jedi? Oh... I don't..." She took a step back... and her legs gave out beneath her, dumping her unceremoniously to the ground.
12-14-2005, 08:50 PM
*Surely you aren't afraid of... Ah, I see. This wouldn't happen to be around 3945 BBY, would it?*
12-14-2005, 08:53 PM
Having no idea what he was talking about, Atton ignored the Doctor's last question, deciding to answer his last.
"Well, Bao-Dur and the bucket of bolts called T3 managed to get them mostly back to perfect order, but there's still that..."Atton began, but then turned a scrutinizing, suspicious eye on the Doctor and his assitants, "Wait...how'd you know that they had a drag? Or is this another one of those 'time hasn't come' things that you and the Jedi love so much?" and he quickly began to 'play pazaak'. Dealt a four card, then switch the suit on the three, total is seven. A six, add the two, the total becomes fifteen. Dealt another four, total becomes nineteen...
Meanwhile, Kari went over to the girl, holding a hand out to her, "Believe me, I won't do anything to hurt you. I just want to help."
12-14-2005, 08:56 PM
The girl nodded slowly. "I... well... thanks."
She tried to stand, but her legs wouldn't hold her. "I do need rest..."
12-14-2005, 08:58 PM
*I you sure you're not wounded?* The Doctor knelt down beside her, checking her for injury. *Tell me, why where those men chasing you?* He asked inncoently.
12-14-2005, 09:05 PM
"Canderous is hidden on Dxun. I don't know about the rest of the old crew." Carth told Brandon. "That's all I need to know. Thank you Carth." Brandon replied. He turned off the comm system and went outside. He seen that Atton and Kira and that Doctor were still outside. He also noticed a new face. "You, Doctor, you seem familiar to me. Like you were in one of my battles." Revan told the Doctor. "Do I know you?"
12-14-2005, 09:07 PM
"I'm just tired," the girl answered, pushing the Doctor away lightly. "And I haven't eaten in at least two days..."
12-14-2005, 09:13 PM
The Doctor turned to face him, moving away from the woman. *I do know who you are, though I do not believe we have ever met. You are Re... Brandon Oneda, correct?*
12-14-2005, 09:16 PM
"C'mon, I'll help you. Hey, Atton, don't forget you're on galley duty this week!"
"Oh, Kira, c'mon-"
"Atton." she said warningly.
"Alright, fine, fine." he said, climbing the ramp into the ship.
12-14-2005, 09:18 PM
*If you don't mind, ms. Starr, I would like to land the TARDIS insie the Ebon Hawk. I would simply love to stay in the Ebon Hawk again, and perhaps we can be of some assistance to you... shall the need arise.*
12-14-2005, 09:19 PM
The girl thanked Kira and, with her help, was able to stand. They entered the ship and in a matter of seconds, the girl was seated and had been given food. She still looked extremely tired, but at least a little stronger now.
12-14-2005, 09:23 PM
Not even bothering to ask what exactly the TARDIS was and how they'd land it in the Ebon Hawk, Kira instead answered, "Er...sure, I don't see why not..."
12-14-2005, 09:28 PM
*Thank you.* said The Doctor, bowing. *Nyssa, Tegan, follow me*
"We'll see you in a minute, ms. Starr" said Nyssa [conspiracy like - I can't spell the real word at all].
The Doctor, Nyssa, and Tegan walk back the way they came, disappearing around the corner.
12-14-2005, 09:32 PM
"It's alright. You can call me Revan." Brandon told the Doctor. His head turned to Kira. "You were one of my generals during the Mandalorian War. How did you survive the battle of Malachor V?" (unless you know the answer to this FFWM12, click this: http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Jedi_Exile )
12-14-2005, 09:36 PM
Suddenly, there was a clatter as the plate the girl had been holding fell out of her hands to the floor. She had fallen asleep where she sat.
Korriban was now nothing more than a memory to Brax, it's ancient tomb's, and worn down academy had given him what he needed to know. Nar Shadaa was now where he was headed, the thrum of the engine under him felt good, affirming that he was still who he remebered being.
His robes had been stowed, the red tunic removed, undereath had been a continueance of the black leather pants, turning out to be a black flight suit in fact. A helmet had been fixed over his head, a blue reticle over one eye, his head rested back. He had a good trip ahead of him in hyperspace. He had little room to move, so he didn't, slowing his breath, retreating into a deep meditation and letting the force flow through him.
"If you don't mind Ms. Starr I'd like to park the Tardis inside the Ebon Hawk."
Words streamed from far off places, a few bits and phrases.
"Canderous is hidden on Dxun. I don't know about the rest of the old crew."
What was a Tardis, and who was Canderous, and where was Dxun? None of these things made sense to him, why did they matter? What was the Ebon Hawk? Was this the same Hawk that was on Nar Shadaa, the one he was seeking? What did this have to do With Revan. Ms. Starr, what might be Kira Starr, from the Sith Academy.
"AC-D6, what is the estimated time left for this hyperspace Jump."
"Dweet, Riiits, Dweeet, doot."
12-14-2005, 09:42 PM
"Well...on the surface we activated the Mass Shadow Generator, per your orders..." Kira began, "But the feeling of so much death...I'd rather not talk about it, if that's okay with you."
There was a clatter behind her, and the Exile turned to see the young woman slumped over onto the table, fast asleep.
((OOC: Er...WJ, how old is your character?))
12-14-2005, 10:08 PM
The sound of the woman's head hitting the plate was followed by a metalic-like screeching sound. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/sounds/tardis.mp3) A tall blue box appeared in the middle of the room, with the words "Police Public Call Box" written on the top, and a flashing white light on the roof. The light and sound stopped, and after a moment The Doctor stepped out of it, followed by Tegan and Nyssa.
*Ah, the dining room of the Ebon Hawk. You know, last time I was in here, I was pulling you out from underneath - that panel, actually. Don't worry: you were fine, just unconscious.*
Tegan looked around the room as if she would rather be in an outhouse, while Nyssa stood quietly at The Doctor's side.
12-14-2005, 10:18 PM
((Heh... that's a fun question... we'll say for the moment just that she looks to be in her mid-twenties.))
12-14-2005, 10:23 PM
((OOC: Alright, that works...I guess...))
Kira went over to the woman, making sure that she was really just sleeping and not something more serious. However, seconds later, there was a screeching sound, and a blue box popped out of thin air, making the Exile and Atton jump back, hands flying to their weapons, only relaxing when the Doctor, Tegan, and Nyssa walked out.
"Ah, the dining room of the Ebon Hawk. You know, last time I was in here, I was pulling you out from underneath - that panel, actually. Don't worry: you were fine, just unconscious." the Doctor said.
"You know, I'm not even going to ask..." Kira said. She instead busied herself trying to scrap some food together with Atton. "Are any of you hungry?"
12-14-2005, 10:35 PM
"Yes, thank you," said Tegan, abandoning her descrimination of the Ebon Hawk. She sat down at the table and accepted the food that she was given.
"Thank you. We haven't had time for a real meal in almost three days" said Nyssa.
*Yes, well that matter at Metabilus IV got in the way of things - I never liked spiders.*
The Doctor turned and saw the food offered to him. *Well, usually I don't eat, but I suppose it can'[t hurt.* He sat down at the table next to Nyssa and accepted the food politely.
12-14-2005, 10:39 PM
"Don't suppose you'd like to fill us in on how you know us?" Atton asked, pouring himself a glass of Juma Juice.
12-14-2005, 10:40 PM
Even through all of this, the strange young woman did not stir. Her head, resting on her arms on the table was completely hidden under her long dark brown hair. Her breathing was normal for a sleeping human.
12-14-2005, 10:50 PM
*Well, I don't see the harm, now that we're in private. But I must warn you that it will be hard to believe.* said The Doctor, putting down his utensils.
*You see, my ship, the TARDIS, is more than just a space ship. It can take me from point A to point B, yes, but it does much more than that. You see, I am from a highly advanced species known as the Gallifreyans. We are Time Lords. We have learned how to travel through time.* The Doctor continued, ignoring the incredulous looks he was getting - Nyssa and Tegan looked as if they weren't even listeing to The Doctor.
*I travelled to about.... eleven years from now, I beleive, intending to go to a planet in another galaxy called Earth. The TARDIS fell of course, and landed here - in this very room. The Hawk was badly damaged, and you, Atton, were near death. I managed to drag you both to the medical lab, where I stabalized your condition, then set in a coarse for the nearest planet - which happened to be Manaan. You were attacked agaion there, and we eventually discovered that a man calling himself The Master was trying to kill you for a Sith Lord... whose name escapes me, at the moment. Needless to say, he was stopped, and the Sith defeated - you yourself killed the Sith Lord - Darth Nullifus! That's the name!* The Doctor paused for a sip of water. *Then we all lived happily ever after!* he added, smiling.
*Ah, I see that our young friend has fallen asleep.*
12-14-2005, 10:54 PM
"Erm...I think you mean Darth Nihlius. And if you do, then he's already dead." the Exile said, finding her tongue after several moments of staring at the Doctor.
12-14-2005, 10:56 PM
*No, Nihilus was before this - years before, as you told me. This one was difinately Nullifus. Scum of a man, even for a Sith. Repulsively diabolical, ruthless, cruel - far worse than any Sith Lord before or after him, including Darth Sidious - though he's not for another 4000 years at least."
Nyssa and Tegan were still sitting talking amogst themselves, as if stories of Time Travel and The Doctor saving the universe were common-place.
12-14-2005, 11:09 PM
Several rodian thugs came screaming out of the entertainment district cantina of Nar Shadaa, followed by their leader who flew from the main entrance and lay sprawled on the ground. A tall Mandalorian soldier in full mandalorian red battle armor, stared coldly through his t-shaped helmet visor at the thug boss. he approached and lifted the Rodian off the ground with both hands, and spoke calmly but assertively to the alien. "I am searching for the crew of the Ebon Hawk, I am told the ship is here, and I am also aware that you know where it is." The Rodian squirmed uncomfortably in Kelborn's grasp. "MEE JESSSKA POOJA NIE PUDO...." Kelborn tightened his grip. "Don't lie to me, or you'll learn the extent of mandalorian honor." The rodian seemed to looked around, to see if there was anyone who would come to his rescue, none came. He finally capitulated and told the mandalorian where the hawk was docked. Kelborn dropped the simpering fool to the ground and hurried to the main docking platforms.
As he walked through the crowded stench filled streets of Nar shadaa, he though to himself how much he hated this world. He pushed through crowds of people from many species and creeds, most who stared at him with fear or contempt, it had been some time since a fully armored mandalorian had set foot on this moon, but many had still not forgotten the wars, years earlier. HE turned yet another corner, and headed down a ramp to the platforms where the hawk was docked. as he approached the end of the ramp, he could hear voices, in several different languages, talking about the price the exchange had placed on the hawk, since it basically crippled their operations. He stepped forward into the view of the ship, and the weequay and sullustan thugs. "shiscranee Mandalorian!" one shouted fearfully, and they took off running. Behing his armored helmet a smile crossed Kelborn's lips. "Its nice to see we aren't forgotten." he muttered, and walked to the hawk, which had left its ramp down. "Don't they ever learn." he walked straightup the ramp and into the ship.
He stepped into the maintenance bay, and looked around, he decided to be creative, and activated his stealth generator. He walked straight past the hyperdrive, took a right past the medical bay, and into the main hold of the ship, where he could see a young woman fast asleep, face down in her food, the scoundrel Atton who traveled with the Jedi, the HK unit, the astromech droid, several odd looking characters, and finally the Jedi herself. HE listened for a moment to the man dressed in a jesters attire speaking about a Tardis. "what the hell is a Tardis" he thought to himself. He had seen enough, he pressed a button on his generator and deactivated his stealth shield, in front of the entire group. "I would have though you Jedi would be more careful considering all the trouble you've had the last few years." HE gazed out his visor at the bewildered party.
12-14-2005, 11:14 PM
*Perhaps someone should have closed the ramp, ms. Starr* said The Doctor baldly.
"Now now," said Tegan nervously, eyeing the wepaon the Mandalorian carried. "There's no need to get violent."
12-14-2005, 11:19 PM
"You know, I've been standing here in front of all of you for at least 5 minutes, and none of you noticed, the Sith dissappear for three years, and suddenly everyone forgets how to react?" He shakes his dissapprovingly.
12-14-2005, 11:23 PM
((My character's food is spilled on the floor... she dropped it as she relaxed on the table :p ))
12-14-2005, 11:23 PM
*Tegan's right: violence will never get you anywhere...*
The Doctor stood up suddenly, pulling the chained coin from his pocket. He began chanting again, flicking the coin to get it spinning. He stared straight into the Mandalorian's eyes (or at least, the eye screen in his helmet), lifting the coin to the Mandalorian's eyes, while his other hand felt around another pocket for something...
Nar Shadaa, the armpit of the hutt's. Whatever a hutt was. Brax slid down into the depths of the city, his ship shifting into a spectrum that was unetecable with the human eye, well it was detectable, if you looked hard enough and knew where to look. But all stealth genertaor's had that problem, he began scanning, clawed gauntlets tapped at controls almost in an absent fashion.
"Ayecee, tracka ship called the Ebon Hawk, see if you can find it."
"Dweet, dwooot, whirrrrr"
"They must have it registered as something else. Take over controls." Brax let his mind drift away again, his breathing slowed ... and he reached out in the force, searching. There were a lot of minds here, and he was having a great deal of trouble finding what he was looking for. But lucky for him he did not seek a single Jedi among a million mortal's, well he did, but that Jedi traveled with other Jedi.
He touched minds, maybe, four he figured ... his eyes shot open though, he had touched to closely, his dark energy washing over the minds of these Jedi. Would they sense it? Know he was here?
12-14-2005, 11:28 PM
Kelborn stares amusedly at this strange man with a chain attatched to a coin. "You obviously don't know much about mandalorians, we are immune to mental persuasion, he gently pushes the mans hand away unthreateningly. "I am not here to harm any of you, I have been sent to you, from Mandalore himself. I'm here to protect you, and aid you in the battles that are to come." Keborn folds his arms accross his armored chest.
12-14-2005, 11:33 PM
The sleeping girl awoke with a start. "Someone's touched our minds," she murmured.
12-14-2005, 11:35 PM
The Doctor's hand paused in the search of his pockets ((not intended to sound dirty)) and started at the Mandalorian. *You're right, I don't know much about the Mandalorians. The last time I was in this galaxy, the Mandalorians were nothing more than a ghost from the long forgotten past - they were believed to be myths, though I knew they were not.* The Doctor eyed the Mandalorain carefully. *Who is this Mandalore, anyway? I assume he is the leader of the Mandalorians? O yes, 3945 BBY... surely not Canderous Ordo? Is it actually 3945 B... O but you won't know what BBY is yet, will you? Is the leader of the Mandalorians Canderous Ordo? If so, then I would very much like to meet him. I met him once when he was a boy - he won't recognize me, I've regenerated...* The Doctor trailed off into quiet contemplation.
The silence was broken by the voice of the young woman who had fallen asleep. "Someone's touched our minds." she said.
12-14-2005, 11:47 PM
Kelborn stared through his visor at the strangley dressed man."Who are you, you talk about galactic events, and years in the future, the ghosts of our people?" Kelborn blurted inquisitively."Our people are stronger than ever canderous....er.....Mandalore has built the clans back to where they were, we are a force once again. How can you speak of events that have not even happened or never will happen." He regained his composure "Forgive my display, it was unbecoming of a mandalorian. I am Kelborn, and like I said I am here to help." He sharply turned his head to the girl sleeping at the table. "What did you say?"
12-14-2005, 11:51 PM
The girl lifted her head from the table and brushed her hair out of her face. "Our minds..." she stammered. "Somebody touched our minds."
12-14-2005, 11:59 PM
The Ancient whalodon of a ship streaked through hyperspace. The vessel was constructed by Naga Sadow, in secret, during the golden age of The ancient Sith Empire. He had hidden it from the republic during the final days of The Great Hyperspace war. The barren planet Romus was its hiding place for over 1000 years, until the Dark Figure discovered its location.
The ominous figure sat alone in the observation tower, above the bridge. His reached out through the Dark Side of the force, accross the galaxy, seeking things that woul be outlets for his dark power. His view pierced stars, planets, and even living flesh. He could hear the flow of the universe as he meditated, and it made him furious. *life in this galaxy is antagonistic to the natural state. These fools trudge through a pathetic existence day in day out, for what? Death finds them all, the jedi cannot protect them from the fate that finds all eventually. all except me, for I am death, I am darkness, I am fear. I am the darkness and the dread the rests in every beings mind, in every beings soul, they fear life, because in their cases it ends. I AM THE SITH, AND I HAVE COME NOW TO BRING AN END TO THE LIGHT.* His final thought echoed through the force, and through space......................
12-15-2005, 12:07 AM
The girl shrieked and sprang up from the table, overturning her chair in her haste to retreat. She backed herself into a corner murmuring something in a strange language with a look of pure fear etched on her face.
12-15-2005, 12:35 AM
The Doctor moved towards the woman.
"Doctor, what's happeneing to her?" asked Nyssa, her face almost as scared as the womans ((we need to know her name soon,wj).
*Telepathic communication, by the looks of her* he answered. *Whatever is being said to her is terrifying her.* He pulled out a long, pen-like object and twisted the bottm. It emitted a faint, high pitched sound (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/sounds/sonicscrewdriver.mp3). The Doctor continued to twist the dial. *If I can find the exact frequency being used...* the girl stopped muttering, though still looked terrified. *There. I've blocked the telepathic transmissions from entering your brain. Are you alright?*
12-15-2005, 12:41 AM
((Then somebody make their character ask her :p ))
The girl blinked. Then, she batted the object away and shook her head. "Turn it off... whoever it was is done projecting his thoughts." She frowned. "He was so... loud..." She looked at the Exile. "You're a Jedi... didn't you hear him too?"
I am the Sith. And I have come to bring and end to the light.
The words echoed through his mind. Sith, pah, they were as bad as any Jedi.
"Alright Ayecee, take the ship back into orbit, I'll contact you when I need you. Follow me if I leave the planet." The hatch was open, a small part of the ship becoming visible as he pulled himself up out of it. He dragged his tunic out of it's compartment and pulled it on, tieing it closed, his robes were pulled out as he jumped, pulling them on as he fell. The force bent light around him as he dropped. Landing with almost no sound on the ground outside the Hawk. He saw the ramp finally being closed by one of the occupants of the ship. Damn.
Black eye's shifted across the surface of the Hawk, there were Jedi in there.

"Tell me, Kelborn, who is the Mandalore?" Brandon asked. He heard the Doctor say something about a Darth Sidyous or something like that. "You can travel through time and space in this vehicle? Facinating. What is the Future like?"
12-15-2005, 10:32 AM
Kelborn stared at Revan for a short moment before responding. "You of all people should know the answer to that question Revan, considering it was you who inspired him to reunite the clans." a small chuckle escapes his armored form. "You know his Identity Revan, and I cannot rveal it to you if you do not, it would go against our code of honor. We address him only by his title of MAndalore." He seemed to gor w ever more impatient, as the crew of the hawk remained nonchalant. "This glaxy is filled with danger. I would not be here if Mandalore did not see some threat posed to you, I think we sould leave this scum-den of a world, and I think we should leave.....NOW."
.................................................. .................................................. ................
The Cloaked figure walked down one of the BASILISK'S many long corridors, he was very proud of his discovery, after all, he had searched for it, for over 500 years. He journey had taken him from Onderon to Roon, from Korriban to Ziost, accross countless other worlds, and moons following clues and rumors left by Naga Sadow over 1000 years earlier. THe ship was not just a massive automated weapon, oh no, it was much, much more, only one very strong in the dark side could command it, for the ship was built to draw its power from the dark side of the force, as were all the droids crewing it.
Naga Sadow had never truly trusted any of his servant or underlings, except for his Massassi warriors, and this ship contained, in its main alchemy labs, 10,000 Massassi, in perfect hibernation, they were the last in the galaxy, as the rest had been killed during the war against Exar Kun. NAga Sadow, after his defeat during the HYperspace War, had intended to rebuild his strength from his hideouts on Yavin IV, and return to claim this monstrous ship, and his loyal Massassi, but Sadow was betrayed and murdered by his apprentice Freedon Nadd. Sadow had taken the ships location with him to his grave. HE did not predict the insightfulness of a new darkness.
THe dark figure remebered his masters old teachings, which he had surpassed. Freedon Nadd was most displeased when his darkest student dissappeared into the unknown 500 years earlier. He could of killed NAdd then and easily taken his title of Dark Lord, but titles did not concern him, only power concerned him. A title did not give one power, or strength. So rather than murder his master, he dissappeared into the void of space to begin his 500 year quest for the ship Sadow had hidden a millenium earlier. HE had trained on his own while searching for the vessel, he learned many dark secrets, in his travels, after all the knowledge of the dark side that can be learned in 500 years of searching is astonishing. Every cavern, every ancient temple, contained the teachings of some deceased Sith, he had studied their teachings, and sucked them into his own being, it was how he learned to stop his body from aging, and his flesh from dying. He allowed noone to see his face, which was cloaked behing a heavy dark hood, and shrouded in darkness. He had stood by and watched the later Sith and Jedi conflicts from beyond the outer rim, where he followed clues to his coveted treasure. The Great Sith War, The Jedi Civil War, The Shadow wars waged by Sion and Nihilus, did not concern him, for they would pale in comparison to the eventual darkness he would bring.
HIs thoughts were suddenly disturbed by snarling and cruching noises behind him. He turned to see his Terentatek beasts shredding a poor ill fated protocol droid. "soon my pets....soon you will feast on real flesh, JEDI flesh."

(((OOC: Wow, you guys got far. I better pay attention to this thread)))
After wondering for half an hour, Karda didn't have any idea where the Ebon Hawk was, nor where any other ship was. In fact, wondering through the maze like ship, he wasn't really sure where his own ship was. This is stupid, he thought. Thinking about it, he wondered if he might be able to sense the Jedi Exile's presence on the moon. It should be a very strong force signature.
Getting off to the side into a small, deserted alley, he sat down. Concentrating, he tried to sort through the thousands of people he was feeling through the force. Although he tried, he couldn't break through all those emotions; It seemed like he kept losing ground the more he tried to throw them off. Feeling another sentient near him, he shifted his focus to that person.
It was a non-human, some uncommon alien he thought, but he felt something strange in the creature's mind. Jumping to his feet, he landed next to the person and shoved them up against a wall. It was a gand, with two pistols at it side- one of them in the process of being drawn.
"What do you know about any Jedi here?" Karda asked, although he wasn't sure why the gand would know. The gand muttered something. "You second one to come, other Jeedai come in freighter." It said. It does know about the Jedi Exile, Karda thought. "Where is the ship?" The gand looked at him defiantly for a second, then said, "Its- its in docking bay 42.
After pressing the gand for the directions, Karda hurried to the docking bay. Hoping that the gand's information wasn't faulty, he found his way to three small landing pads. Looking at the one, it was a small shuttle. The next, a little ways down, was a G-Wing fighter. The last one- It was the Ebon Hawk.
A Mandalorian was outside, talking to some of the people inside the ship. Karda couldn't hear what was going on. Using the force, he tried to probe their minds, although he felt resistance. They are Jedi. He tried harder, just enough to let them know that someone was there, to see what they would do.

The girl cringed at the second mental invasion and pushed back as hard as she could. In the process of this, her right hand clenched into a fist and the plate she'd dropped before now lifted slightly off the ground and shattered. This seemed to startle the girl and she unclenched her fist. The shards of the plate fell to the floor again, sounding a lot like hail on metal.
"Sorry," she murmured, reaching out a hand in the direction of the mess. It lifted from the ground and the girl glanced at Kira. "Where can I get rid of this?"
12-15-2005, 03:52 PM
Space rippled and Darth Kreta's personal assault freighter burst into realspace in the vicinity of the planet Dxun. The ship entered the atmosphere and Kreta dropped the altitude, flying very low over the ground. Soon, he saw an enormous structure. Smiling under his hood, he set the craft down in the open feild just in front of the entrance, in front of which stood a familiar figure. Kreta walked down the rap up to the figure. The welcoming person wore a silver hemt with a T shaped visor and two pipes leading to its chin area and very strong battle armor. The Mandalore, formerly known as Canderous.
Kreta looked Mandalore up and down.
"How do I know it's really you?" Kreta asked.
"I could ask you the same thing," replied Mandalore.
Kreta lowered his hood and Mandalore raised a datapad. They smiled in unison and hugged briefly.
"How are things, Mandalore?" Kreta asked as he walked alongside his friend into the structure.
"Call me Canderous, Holner." Mandalore said. "I am ready to help in whatever way I can."
"I was looking for an ancient Sith warship built by Naga Sadow before the Great Hyperspace War named the Basilisk. I sensed it in the Force during my initiation as Sith Marauder and went in search for it. But by the time I reached the Hangars, I sensed that it was gone, and the world it was upon, destroyed. I need your intelligence to help me track down this Sith Lord."
"I will do whatever I can, my old friend. But could you tell me the reason behind your quest to destroy this person?" Canderous said.
Kreta turned and looked at the horizon of Dxun.
"I had a very close friend, Canderous. Just like you. He was ordered to kill someone but he refused. The Sith Lord became angry and killed him in a duel." Kreta explained.
"And that 'someone' was?" Canderous ventured.
Kreta remained silent. He walked back to his ship's open ramp slowly, followed by his friend. He reached the top of the ramp and turned slightly.
With this, Kreta walked into the ship and lifted it off the planet into the dusty atmosphere of Dxun.

The Doctor bent down to help pick up the broken pate.
*By the way, miss, I'm afraid I don't know your name." he said.
((Now answer the question:xp: ))
12-15-2005, 07:13 PM
((The plate is already picked up... ForceFight, you might want to comment on this since, being a Jedi, you'd realize that, though she seems to be using the Force, her Force sensitivity is almost nonexistent.))
The girl hesitated a moment, her gaze shifting from the Doctor to Kira. "Crystal. My name is Crystal."
12-15-2005, 08:05 PM
Karda saw that his mental push had been sensed, by more than on person apparently. Deciding to risk it, he wondered out onto the landing pad, then stopped to watch the strange group.
12-15-2005, 08:11 PM
((OOC: Jeeze, I'm gone a few hours and posts start growing like weeds!))
The Exile stared at the woman for a moment...strange...she had used the Force to pick up the plate...but...there was no...
She jolted herself back to reality. There would be time to think and ask of this later. She turned to the pilot.
"Atton, get us out of here. If Nar Shadaa was safe before, it isn't now."
"Aye aye, Captain!" he said sarcastically and ran straight to the cockpit.
"Everyone else, grab a seat and hold on to your hats!" Kira said, before jogging after him.
As the Jedi swung into the co-pilot's chair, the scoundrel in the chair next to her had already powered up the engines. She flipped a switch, closing the loading ramp. Three touches. Each by a Force user. Three! Maybe there were more threats here than she thought...
"Where to, Princess?" Atton asked as the main thrusters activated and the landing gears retreated into the ship's hull.
"I don't care. Dantooine, Onderon, anywhere, just get us out of here!"
12-15-2005, 08:18 PM
So they are fleeing Nar Shaddaa. Great, now I get to chase them somewhere else. Using the force to run as quickly as he could, and jumping across some walkways, he reached his ship. Ignoring the refugees gaping at him, he got in, and powered up the ship. His sensors were just picking up the Ebon Hawk.
His ship sped through space, following the Ebon Hawk as discreetly as possible (which wasn't much). Karda stared at the ship, annoyed. No cloaking device, not even a simple thing to block the ship's signature on another ship's sensors. The force-users on the ship would know they were being followed, even if they actually couldn't detect him from the Hawk's radar.
12-15-2005, 08:24 PM
Crystal winced and stared at the shattered plate before looking around and finding a place to dispose of it. Then, she shrugged and found a place to sit. At the very least, this would be... interesting.
He had only moments to make a choice, leap onto the closing boarding ramp, and risk being seen on their ship. Or take the time to get back to his own ship and risk losing them. There was more than on powerful force user on that ship. But he had to risk it, he glanced back seeing Karda leaping away. Another chaser? He leapt forward, onto the boarding ramp, barely slipping inside, clinging there. Silent, nobody was likely to come to this part of the ship, so for now he'd lay low here. Wait and see what he could find out.
He slowed his breath, and focused on staying unseen, and unheard, and unsensed. His power slid out though, back behind the ship, looking for the one who had also been hunting the Jedi. Using his powers of cloaking to hide his mind from the ship.
12-15-2005, 08:59 PM
Crystal tensed at first, feeling another mind enter the ship. When it vanished, she forced herself to relax and shook her head slowly. She didn't like it, but with the stranger hiding his mind, Crystal wouldn't be of much help. She shuddered. The strange mind seemed to be everywhere and nowhere all at once within the ship. But no, she would say nothing for the moment. Perhaps she'd look into it herself once they'd jumped to Hyperspace.
12-15-2005, 09:02 PM
Kelborn walked into the cockpit of the Ebon Hawk, which had now enterred space above the Planet. Atton sat at the controls, sarcastically commenting, and fooling around with several switches. The exile sat beside him, suggesting locations, for which they may head. "I hope you know Kira, we're being followed." Atton pointed out.
Before the Exile could respond Kelborn butted in." A ship full of Jedi? you seem barely capable of surviving on your own, I find it unusual that your skills would be so lacking....considering all you've been through.....If you were Mandalorians, you'd be the worst Mandalorians out there."
12-15-2005, 09:10 PM
"But they're not Mandalorians," Crystal cut in, almost before Kelborn's words were completely out. She entered the cockpit and leaned against the nearest wall. "So isn't it pointless to compare?" She shrugged. "Besides, nobody's perfect... not even the Mandalorians."
12-15-2005, 09:35 PM
Granthax had finally got out of his hibernation in 1 piece. He stretch his arms and yawned. He saw a ship take off and leave. He decided to let it go even though he sensed powerful Jedi. He boarded a ship heading to Dxun.
"True." Revan added. "What planet are we over?"
(can it be Dxun? I don't care if it isn't but can it?)
12-15-2005, 10:17 PM
Kelborn turned his attention to the girl Crystal momentarily before turning back his focus to Atton, And the Jedi. "I'm just here to help, Mandalore commands it. Besides, its more than apparent to me, that you could use a Mandalorians touch." He states confidently.
.................................................. .................................................. ................
The dark Figure had seated himself comfortably back on the observation deck. His terentatek continued clawing at their chew toy droid. He stared intently into the black vacuum of space, reaching out through the force, to find the victims of his rage.
12-15-2005, 10:43 PM
Meanwhile, Karda kept following the Ebon Hawk. This is pointless, I'm getting farther and farther behind. Thinking about maybe hailing the ship, he contemplated it for a moment. They didn't seem to be a threat; When he had touched their minds he just felt fear.
Deciding to chance it, he contacted the fleeing ship.
Hmmm, I think one of them sensed me, damnit. Brax looked around quietly, listening intently down the hall to the left of the ramp. The blind one was that way. He looked ahead, nobody in the Garage at the moment. He glanced around it, some broken down droids were around, a work bench to his left. There was a swoop in there as well. He moved toward it, it would work. He slid down inside of it, and pulled the hood closed. He let the force stop reflecting light around him, shifting into a visible spectrum. Keeping his mind cloacked though. He couldn't let the others know he was on their ship. The thing was tiny too, how many people were on here ...
But this was his only hope, he had to locate the Jedi Revan. He slowed his breathing, wrapping the force around his mind, locking it in place. Meditating for now.
Ayecee had done as he was told, tracking the ship via his master's comm he had followed it through hyperspace to the world it was now orbitting. The cloack did not work in Hyperspace though, and there was a brief period in which the Hawk might detect it. But then it cloacked again.
12-16-2005, 07:06 AM
Kreta stiffened. There it was again. The Force was rippling. That was the Dark signature of the one he sought. Kreta slapped the emergency button and his ship exploded into realspace. He sat still, searching with a fine toothcomb for the ripples. They had vanished. Kreta thumped his fist on the panel in anger. He would find that Dark Lord and defeat him if it was the last thing he did. He flipped a switch and his ship shot back into hyperspace.
12-16-2005, 04:02 PM
"We weren't ready for this sort of thing, otherwise we would've been able to get out of here a lot faster than we did," Kira said, "And, yeah, I've noticed we're being followed."
She looked at a screen in front of her, flipping a switch, and a rear-view camera whirred to life on the back of the ship, revealing the ship that was tailing them. "A Jedi-class fighter..." she said, after studying it a moment. "Do you think we should..."
"There's no telling who or what is on that ship. For the moment, I think it's best if we wait and see." Atton said, predicting what she would have said next.
A moment later the comm. beeped and all four looked at the dash where a red light was blinking. Someone was transmitting a message to the Hawk...
12-16-2005, 04:25 PM
*That's a Jedi ship, is it not?* said The Doctor from behind her. *Why are we running? Surely you would be able to sense if they were a threat?"
12-16-2005, 04:43 PM
"Just because we know they're there doesn't mean we can sense their intentions." she explianed. Kira stared at the blinking light before hesitantly opening the channel...
12-16-2005, 11:15 PM
"And a Jedi ship doesn't always indicate the presence of a Jedi," Crystal added.
12-17-2005, 12:22 AM
*My mistake. Now let's be quiet so we can hear what they (ie Rob) have to say.*
12-17-2005, 01:52 AM
"This is Jedi Knight Karda, to the Ebon Hawk. Do you read me?" Karda said as soon as he saw that the ship had answered him.
12-17-2005, 12:41 PM
"This is the Ebon Hawk; we hear you loud and clear, Karda. What's your buisness tailing us?"
12-17-2005, 02:05 PM
"I was sent by the Jedi Masters on this mission. They sighted you off Hal Hutta, and they sent me to find out what the Ebon Hawk was up to. Who is this? Is this the Jedi Exile, or another occupant of the ship?" Karda replied.
12-17-2005, 02:09 PM
"This is Kira, the Jedi Exile." she said, a disapproving sigh escaping Atton's lips. "What buisness does the Council have with me? I thought they were all dead."
12-17-2005, 02:23 PM
"If you mean Vrook, Kavar, and Zez-Kai, then yes, they are dead. But the Jedi were able to rebuild and gather more force-sensitives to them after the war. The Jedi Enclave on Dantooine has been partially rebuilt, and is home to several Jedi. The current Jedi running things are the 'Masters' of which I spoke." Karda paused. "When you fled from the smuggler's moon, I followed you, perhaps not the only one. My intentions were just to see what you were doing. Would you mind if I boarded, where we could talk better?"
12-17-2005, 09:08 PM
Crystal shook her head and allowed feelings of wariness to bleed out of her mind, surrounding her in a tight bubble that only those in the cockpit could feel. To those without the Force, it felt as if they had suddenly become nervous. The Jedi members of the group felt the same nervousness, but they also sensed that it orignated from Crystal.
Feelings of nervousness were gradually replaced by those of indifference and she said quietly, "We won't know how truthful he's being until we can get him close enough... I may not like it, but getting him in here is the only way we can really know his intentions."
12-17-2005, 09:35 PM
"I have to agree with Crystal." Brandon said. "And what did that jedi mean about you being 'Jedi Exile'?"
12-17-2005, 09:38 PM
*Well, you see, she was sentemced to live in Exile after she abandoned you and your fleet after te Malforian ((incorrect on purpose)) Wars.*
12-17-2005, 09:55 PM
"Mandalorian," Crystal corrected.
12-17-2005, 10:10 PM
*Yes, that's them. I believe she was the only one to return, weren't you?* The Doctor asked rhetorically. *But that is beside the point. I believe I could bring you inside the TARDIS to our persuers ship, if you would like to speak to him face-face.*
12-17-2005, 10:13 PM
"NO!" Crystal said forcefully. Then, in a much more calm voice she said. "No. He has to come here. If something goes wrong, most of us know this ship... know our surroundings. Over there..." she shook her head. "He needs to come here."
12-17-2005, 10:53 PM
*I assure you that it would be perfectly safe. I know oyu're thinking that I am wrong, mr Rand, so you may come as well, if you wish. I will also be their, and I assue you that between Atton and myself, nohting can happen to you, ms. Starr.*
"Nyssa and I would be there too. We--"
*No you will not, Tegan. You will stay here on the Ebon Hawk and assist Disciple here. You may be needed here.*
"But Doctor, we don't know the first thing about the Ebon Hawk. We'd be much more use--"
*I am responsible for both of you, and I will not allow either of you to come. I will bring K9 along, too. ((I know K9 isn't supposed to be with Peter Davison's Doctor, but The Doctor isn't supposed to be here either, now is he?)).* The Doctor pulled out a thin instrument from his pocket, held it up to his lips, and blew. For a minute, nothing happened. Then, an electronic screech came from the main room ((This is T3 screaming, if that's alright)), and a small robotic dog (http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39912000/jpg/_39912098_k9_bbc.jpg) entered the room.
12-17-2005, 10:57 PM
Karda waited for several minutes before speaking again. "I assure you, I mean you no harm, and I doubt I could cause any trouble there anyways. I need to speak with you."
12-17-2005, 11:03 PM
*You must decide now, ms Starr. Do you wish to speak to him face to face?*
Brax's senses shifted outward, moving through the ship quietly. Listening to the conversation between Jedi and Jedi. It too much of his effort to do this, and for a few seconds his presence could be felt on the ship, but he pulled away, back into himself. His cloack going back up, but it had been there, for a few brief seconds. A dark void somewhere on the ship itself.
Another Jedi. And I'm fairly sure the male Jedi in the cockpit is the one I seek.
12-17-2005, 11:25 PM
"Master." said K9. "There appears to be a spacial disturbance in the Ebon Hawk."
*Where is it coming from, K9?*
"It originates from the garage bay, Master. It was present for approximately 0.48563--"
*That's enough, K9. It's nothing, I'm sure.*
12-18-2005, 01:12 AM
Crystal wasn't so sure, but she kept her mouth shut. She still wanted to investigate on her own. She couldn't well do that with the others being suspicious. So she kept her thoughts and feelings to herself and left the cockpit.
12-18-2005, 10:39 AM
Kira waited for a moment, listening to what the others had said. Was he dangerous? Well...even if he was, it would be only one of him and at least eight of them...
"Very well, if you wish to board the Hawk, we will be waiting for you." she said over the comm.
12-18-2005, 12:49 PM
Revan knew something was wrong. Somehow, a Dark Jedi was sensed, then, it disappeared. "I think there is a Dark Jedi on the Hawk." Brandon guessed in his mind. "I don't know how he got on here, but if the crew is going to be safe, I'll need to find it." "I will meet with him at the loading ramp." Brandon volenteered. Revan got up and headed to the ramp, but at the same time, sensing for the Dark Jedi.
12-18-2005, 01:48 PM
The Doctor bent down to talk to K9.
*K9, I want you to follow him.* he said. *If you get into any trouble, call me immediately.*
"Understood, Master." K9 then followed Revan quietly. The Doctor then truned to Kira.
*Are you sure you want him to come aboard? He could be here to take you back to the Council.*
12-18-2005, 06:21 PM
Karda recieved the message from the ship and maneuvred his fighter to the Hawk. As the two ships connected, Karda got out and walked into the ship. Took them long enough. Of course, he knew why, they probably didn't trust him. He would just have to show them that he was on their side.
12-18-2005, 08:44 PM
Kelborn stood rather quietly in the corner, while all of these new happenings were going on around him. But he was a very impatient man, even for a Mandalorian. "All of you are too trusting." He muttered, as he followed Revan toward the loading ramp. "Ill see for myself." He sprinted off behind Revan.
12-18-2005, 10:26 PM
K9 moved ot the side of the corridor as the Mandalorian ran past him, apparently not seeing him. He then rolled down the corridor, chasing Revan and Kelborn.
Brax was focused solely on keeping himself hidden, he was fairly certain that somebody had sensed him, and so keeping hidden was the number one thing on his mind at the moment. He kept his senses as alert as he could, hearing movement not int he garage itself but near by, and keeping his own sounds to a zero.
Ayecee stayed back, watching the two ships dock, camera taking images of the action, for it's master's later purusal.
12-19-2005, 02:19 PM
Karda walked into the Ebon Hawk, looking around at the ship. After a moment, he recognized the Jedi Exile.
12-19-2005, 02:54 PM
Kreta's ship pumelled out of hyperspace again. This time in the Korriban system. He had receive word from the Mandalore about the Sith Lord's last location, Korriban's Dreshdae Cantina, while in hyperspace and was itching with excitement. He set the ship down in the port and walked down the ramp, hood raised. The port authority was visibly frightened but as his duty, he said,
"S-Sir. I fear you need to pay the landing fees in order to-"
"Yeah, yeah." Kreta said impatiently. He fished in his pockets and drew out a 50 credit coin and tossed it at the port authority.
"That's all you get. Take it or leave it."
Cloack billowing behind him, he walked quickly to the cantina. As he turned the corner, he saw his man. Smiling fiercely under his hood, he went up to the man: the bartender.
"What can I get you?" the man asked politely.
"The location of your Sith Lord friend," growled Kreta.
The bartender's face became deathly white at this and he backed away.
"S-S-Sith friend? I-I don't make friend's w-with Sith Lords."
"Oh. Then why are you so scared?"
The bastender swallowed audibly. Kreta stood up from the stool he had been sitting on, grabbed the front of the bartender's clothing and pulled him close to his face.
"Tell me where he is." he whispered savagely.
"I don't know." the bartender replied.
"This is a Sith world, my friend." Kreta said, getting angrier by the second. "I could chop off your limbs and throw you in the mud and nobody would care. Tell me where he is."
"I really don't know." whimpered the bartender.
"Sith Lords can tell when they are being lied to. I'll ask you one last time politely: Where is he?"
"I swear I don't know."
Kreta yelled with frustration. He extended his hand and blue bolts of lightning began to arc out on the bartender. The locals began to abandon their activities and flee to safety. The bartender screamed and screamed. Finally he pleaded.
"Stop....stop... I'll tell you all I know, please don't hurt me."
Kreta hauled the man to his feet and made him sit down on a stool and began listening intently.
"A friend of mine owns a lot of unique objects," began the man. "One day, the Sith you're looking for came in and asked me for some of his merchandise. Since it is his policy to know the reason for the purchase, I asked him why he needed them."
He poured himself a drink and took a hurried sip.
"He told me that he was going on an expedition to the Septilo System in the far reaches of ancient Sith territory. He was apparently headed for Septilon Aurek, the fifth planet from the main sun."
"What more do you know?" asked Kreta in a low voice.
"Nothing. I can give you the coordinates but he did not tell me any more."
Kreta pulled out a datapad and dropped it on the counter.
"Give me the coordinates."
The bartender fumbled with the pad and withing a minute, he had recorded the coordinates of Septilon Aurek.
"Can you tell me what this Dark Lord wanted from your friend's merchandise?" Kreta asked.
"Just some of his best quality reflector cups and crystal polishing foam. My friend has the best of those kind in the Galaxy."
"Would you happen to have those on you now?" Kreta inquired.
"As a matter of fact, yes."
The bartender fumbled beneath the bar and took out a small box. He drew out a smaller package and a cube of polishing foam.
"Here you are," he said, setting the items on the counter. "I25 credits for the cup and 100 credits for the foam."
Kreta paid the man and left with his merchandise. Apparently, the Dark Lord wanted an excellent lightsaber. Well now he would have one too.
With the coordinates of the Dark Master's most recent location, he would be able to sense him in the Dark Side and follow him to his destination, wherever that was.
Darth Kreta smiled. The Dark Lord's days were numbered.
12-19-2005, 09:15 PM
K9 stopped. He turned to face the garage, a long antenna extended from his head. After a few seconds, the antenna fell back into place and he turned around. A man had entered the Ebon Hawk.
"Welcome to the Ebon Hawk, human." he said. "I am K9. Please follow me to the cockpit."
He began rolling towards the cockpit, scanning the new man covertly. He was human, age about 25 years old. K9 alsp detected a long object hanging from the man's belt, containing a source of mineral element 97KI2: Cortosis. ((This is just to demonstrate what K9 is capable of. It may come in handy later, depending on where the storyline goes.))

The Dark Hooded figure, stood at the large open view panel from his observation deck, the BASILISK floated in orbit, high above the ancient Sith world called ZIOST. This planet was once home to Naga Sadow's great war machine, and now it would be the heart of his darkness as well. He would awaken the ancient Massassi warriors, they would rebuild and repopulate the planets great fortresses. He would unite the ancient Sith peoples of Ziost, and the wretched hive, of new Sith hiding from the republic, under a new more powerful banner......his, he knew that the time to strike was now, whilst the JEdi were still weak and rebuilding from countless wars, Sion had served his purposes well, what would seem like failure, after such near victory, was exactly what the dark figure had planned for. Sion's fury, had weakend the Jedi to a new low, and would set the table for his Darkness. Finally, he thought to himself, after over 500 years of exodus, Darth Malagant had returned. He knew he had the upper hand, the jedi knew nothing of his existence, neither did the republic, or Malak's Sith for that matter. He would rebuild the Sith empire of old, and strike at the hearts of all his enemies. He folded his arms accross his armored arms accross his armored chest, and stared out of darkness, into a future which he forsaw, contained the greatest darkness.
.................................................. .................................................. ................
Kelborn stood at the ship's ramp with Revan, to see who their new guest was. He watched as yet another jedi made his way onto the ebon hawk. " Another jedi to add to the mix.....I think there are more of you here on this ship, than in the temple on Coruscant." He stated sarcastically.
12-19-2005, 09:30 PM
((But are you sure The Doctor hasn't heard of you;)
Do you want your character to be a complete secret, or can the Doctor have heard of him before, but not know much about him, etc. Until you respond, I'll assume that you want him to be a complete secret.))
12-19-2005, 09:34 PM
(( The doctor can know the fact that Freedon Nadd had an apprentice, one that was very powerful. One that during the peak of his training dissappeared into darkness, of rumor and whispers through the force. You don't know his name though....that won't officially be revealed to the Ebon Hawk crew, until he is revealed to the Galaxy at large.........I'm still deciphering all of his aspects, I'm still writing his backstory and stuff. :D ))
12-19-2005, 09:37 PM
((No problem. The Doctor will have no idea who this guy is until he is discovered to be the apprentice of Freedon Nadd, if that is ever revealed.))
12-19-2005, 09:48 PM
(( It will be at some point later on, as this thing plays out.))
The Dark Figure struted powerfully onto the bridge of the BASILISK. He hissed for the ships command droid. " Awaken the Massassi! The time has come for them to serve me." The Battle droid bowed, and turned to a small flashing console, which he pressed. "It is done, the hibernation squence has been deactivated Lord Malagant, The Masssassi will soon be at your disposal. He straightened up, he remebered his Sith title Darth Malagant.....The one his master Freedon Nadd had given him, but it had been over five centuries since he had heard it uttered aloud. He nodded his concealed features at the droid, who quickly went about its duty as ships commander.
Deeper within the bowels of the ship, in the heart of its dark Alchemy chambers, the legions of Massassi began to stir. Glass shattered, as they burst from their incubation chambers, in response to their new master's call.
12-19-2005, 10:18 PM
"Easy, Kelborn." Revan told Kelborn with a smile under his mask. "Welcome to the Ebon Hawk. My name is Brandon Oneda. But you may know me as my true name, Revan." Revan then held out his hand to shake Karda's.
12-20-2005, 12:35 AM
K9 arrived in the cockpit again, this time alone.
"Human Jedi has boarded the ship, Master." he said. "No weapons detected other than standard Jedi lightsaber."
*Good work K9. Now, to the TARDIS. As long as he's here, we may as well take a look around his ship - that is, unless you have any objections, ms. Starr?"
K9 turned around and headed back to the docking ramp.
12-20-2005, 11:53 PM
"You're Revan? The one who defeated Malak in the Sith war, after losing his memory?" Karda said, visibly impressed. "I've wanted to meet you for a long time, but I never thought I'd find you here- neither did the Jedi Masters." Karda looked at the cockpit. "Is the Jedi Exile here also, along with you? And everyone else from her 'crew'?"
12-21-2005, 12:01 AM
"Jedi 'kira Starr' is present, as are eight human life forms aboard, excluding yourself, as well as several alien life forms, including one Zabrak, one Miraluka, and two droids." said K9, coming around the corner again. "There is also one Gallifreyan Time Lord on board - my Master, the Doctor."
The Doctor pulled a small key out of his pocket, inserted it into the TARDIS' key hole, and opened the door. He then put the key back in his pocket, pulling the thin instument out and blowing. Down the corridor. K9's "ears" began rotating.
"Master?" he said, before turning around and hurrying to the main bay. He followed The Doctor into the TARDIS, The Doctor closing the door behind him. For a few moments, there was silence. Then, a loud metallic screech, like a key being dragged across the inside of an old piano's strings, filled the ship. The TARDIS dissolved into thin air.
12-21-2005, 12:57 AM
Crystal cringed at the sound and moved to where she could stare at the newcomer. She prodded his mind, but the feeling was unlike anything he'd have ever felt if the prodding were done by a Force sensitive. Crystal's eyes fell to staring at the floor and the prodding stopped.
12-21-2005, 04:16 PM
((Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I've kinda fallen into my Xbox for a while...:D))
Kira nodded to the Doctor as he and K9 entered the TARDIS and was gone. She then moved to the ship's ramp to greet this 'Karda', Atton and Disciple following close behind.
"I assume you would be Karda," she said, approaching the newcomer. As she neared, she extended a hand, "I'm Kira Starr, the Jedi Exile. And these are my companions, Disciple and Atton Rand."
12-21-2005, 04:30 PM
"Yes," said Karda. "Jedi Knight Karda Jal-Ordo. I'm one of the Jedi that was trained at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. Its a pleasure to finally meet you, and," he turned to Atton and the Disciple. "You two, also."
12-21-2005, 05:17 PM
The clean, new Jedi ship was a stark contrast to the Ebon Hawk's old faded panels. The TARDIS materialised in the cockpit, looking extremely out of place amonst the clean buttons and switches. The door opened, and The Doctor and K9 stepped out.
*Can you scan the ship K9?* he asked, intending for him to begin the scan immediately. K9 took him to literally, however.
"Program acheivable, Master." (http://www.dwwa.net/dr4/Stones/Achieve.wav) he said.
The Doctor rolled his eyes. *Then do it, please. And don't be so literall.*
K9's ears began to spin, and a faint whiring sound could be heard. "Negative, Master." he responded.
The Doctor looked around anxiously.
*What do you make of it, K9?*
"Question not understood. Kindly rephrase." (http://www.dwwa.net/dr4/Ribos/Rephrase.wav)
*Oh, forget it*
"Erase memory banks." a series of sounds are heard. "Memory erased. (http://www.dwwa.net/dr4/Stones/K9erase.wav)
*Well, let's take a look around. You go that way and I'll go this way.* And he walked off to his left, dissapearing around the corner.
12-21-2005, 05:51 PM
"Who is that guy, anyways?" Karda said, watching the strangely dressed man dissapear with the robot.
12-21-2005, 06:26 PM
"He's the Doctor," said Tegan, coming around the corridor just as The Doctor ran past her. "Hello, my name is Tegan. I'm a friend of the Doctor's"
"I'm also with the Doctor. My name's Nyssa."
Brax sat silently, listening to the commotion not to far from his hiding place inside of the swoop bike that was only a few meters from the boarding ramp and the new Jedi. Revan was here, as was somebody calling themselves the Jedi Exile, and at least one other Jedi. Not to mention a half dozen or so other people.
Well coming out of the swoop didn't sound like a good idea any time soon. Brax was cofident in his abilites, but he wasn't stupid.
12-22-2005, 06:10 PM
(I'm going to call him Revan throught the entire story unless he's introducing himself. Also, I'm going to be celebrating Christmas away from the computor so, FFWM12, control Revan after this post, ok?")
Revan looked suprised. "Strange how the 'Doctor' can disappear like that." He said. He looked at the new Jedi, Karda. "Tell me, Karda, who are the Jedi Masters you refer to?" "Vrook, Vander, and Dorak from the Enclave?"
12-22-2005, 06:56 PM
The Doctor stood next to a locked door.
*I assume this is the Jedi's quarters.* he pulled the sonic screwdriver out from one of his many pockets and activated it. He held it up to the lock, which clicked open.
*There's nothing more useless than a lock without a voice print,* he laughed to himself. Opening the door, he walked into a tediously tidy room, the furniture arranged in the most efficient way possible. The Doctor began to look around the desk. A neat pile of unused data cards sat on the corner of the desk, as well as an empty mug that smelt as if it had contained something similar to one of The Doctor's favourite Earth beverages - Coffee. There was a data card in the reader. Activating the screen, the Doctor read the information displayed. It appeared to be a detailed scematic of the Ebon Hawk, as well as information on Kira, Atton, and Disciple. There was also mention of other companions, though nothing very detailed ((I don't know who is on the Ebon Hawk at the moment)). There was also what appeared to be the man's orders. They stated that he was indeed a Jedi knight by the name of Karda Jal-Ordo. He had been sent to find the Ebon Hawk and bring her back to Dantooine. *It looks as if I was right. He is here to bring her back to the council.* The Doctor grabbed the data card out of the input and left to find K9.
K9 rolled through the halls, his sensor probe out and active. He stopped. There was something in the next room - and it was emitting a low frequency tracking signal, which would have been invisible to the ship's scanners. The Doctor came up behind him. *Did you find anything, K9?*
"Affirmative, Master. There appears to be some sort of transmitter located on the outside of the hull. It is transmiting on a frequency of 1003.45, Master." he said.
*Can you deactivate it?*
"Negative, Master. Insufficient knowledge of technology. Scans also indicate a high-yield explosive set to detonate upon attempted deactivation."
*Well then, we must go back to the Ebon Hawk and warn Karda. I must also speak with Kira - it looks as if Karda is here to take her back to the council. Come along, K9.*
The Doctor and K9 returned to the TARDIS, closing the door behind them. After a moment, the metallic screech sounded again, and the TARDIS dematerialised.
12-22-2005, 07:30 PM
"Unfortunately, Vrook, Vandar, and Dorak are all dead- as are Vash, Zez-Kai Ell, and Kavar. Many fell on Dantooine when Malak bombed it, and many more died on Katarr from Nihilus; Vash was killed by Sion on Korriban; and Kavar, Vrook, and Zez-Kai all were killed by Darth Traya. I believe the Jedi Exile was there, in fact." Karda looked around the ship, admiring it.
"I've heard this thing is the fastest ship in the galaxy, isn't it. Probably one of the most famous, too- the ship you traveled in, and the ship that the Jedi Exile Kira also traveled in."
12-22-2005, 07:49 PM
"You think this is fast, you should see the TAR--" but Tegan's words were cut short by a loud screeching sound, indicating the return of the Doctor. "Ah, speak of the devil - there she is now."
The TARDIS materialised slowly, the screeching sound grinding into the ears of everyone on the ship. It stopped suddenly, and the door burst open. The Doctor ran out, K9 right behind him.
*Revan, grab him! He's here to bring Kira back to the Jedi council. I have proof.* he added, holding up the data card. *I'm also sorry to report that he might have been folloed. K9 picked up a tracking device on the outer hull. I don't know put it there.*
12-22-2005, 08:21 PM
"No, let him go." Kira said, rather quietly. "I knew why he was here from the moment he contacted us."
"Think about what you're doing!" Atton whispered so that only she could hear, "If he takes you back to the Council, what will they do? It sounds as if they're even more blind than the last one! They might try to kill you!"
"But if she doesn't face the Council, we'll be hunted relentlessly until she does!" Disciple whispered.
"That's enough, both of you." the Exile said, turning back to Karda, "However, I'm curious about the tracking device. Any idea how it got there?"
12-22-2005, 08:36 PM
*Kira, i must object. This - none of this - is supposed to be happening. The Jedi Council could be under the influence of an alien entity, or The Master, or something else of that sort" ((No, I won't introduce The Master or any aliens from another galaxy, so stop worrying. It's just to give my character something to argue with)). *If they kill you, the galaxy will be doomed forever.*
12-22-2005, 09:14 PM
"I can take care of myself, thanks." Kira said, rather annoyed. Things had been happening so fast and now everyone was on her back. "I know what I'm doing."
12-22-2005, 09:33 PM
*I assure you I meant no disrespect. I'm only concerned with your safety.* said the Doctor. *I know that you are perfectly capable of protecting yourself - you proved that to me before. I only wish to help.*
12-22-2005, 09:44 PM
Kelborn sat rather amusedly, watching the events transpire on board the Ebon Hawk. He found the musings of the crew, to be most entertaining.
.................................................. .................................................. ................
The BASILISK cast its shadow high above ZIOST. The dark Figure remaind hidden behind his veil of darkness. He stretched out through the force, searching for those who might become mindless slaves to his terrible will.
((Sorry the post is a bit short........I'm having brain farts tonite. writers block))
12-22-2005, 11:50 PM
"If you wish to attack and capture me, I'm not sure whether I could do anything against Revan and the Jedi Exile." Karda said stiffly. "I'll admit, that was what the Jedi Council asked me to do. I meant you no harm, and I was trying to help you. I have no bad intentions toward you all. How could I really do anything? I'm just following what the Jedi Council told me to!"
He turned toward "The Doctor." "And next time, crackpot, you could ask before you head into my ship, and search my private quarters. And tell me what is in my own ship. I have to admit, I'm a little ticked off right now." He said hotly.
12-23-2005, 12:36 AM
*Well, insults are hardly becoming of a Jedi, now are they?* retorted the Doctor. *I would have thought that years under a Jedi Master would have knocked some form of Jedi manners into you, but apparently not. Bah, you Jedi are all the same; Always talking your nonsense about the 'uncertainty of the future'; Always seeing patterns in things that aren't there: It really irritates me, you know. YOu haven't changed sinced the founding of the Order. And I'll tell you something else--*
"Now Doctor, there's no need to be rude," said Tegan, half-mockingly. "If I can't do it then you can't either."
"Yes, this kind of behaviour isn't getting us anywhere." said Nyssa. "Arguing won't help us at all. Isn't that right, K9?"
Brax was starting to like this 'Doctor' based on over hearing him, a man ruled by his emotions. And the young Jedi that had joined them didn't sound too 'controlled' either, but the Jedi from what he knew always spoke of 'calm emotions' 'peace' and 'serenity' but in reality ... they were just as emotional as any other sentient.
(What is it with me always starting the new page, lol)
12-23-2005, 12:48 AM
((You're the designated page turner.))
*Yes, my apologies, mr. Karda.* said the Doctor, sounding only semi-sincere. *It was rude of me to invade your ship and privacy like that. But you must understand that we needed information. My way was the fastest way of getting it without torturing you or something archaic like that. Torture in space is terrible, anyway - If there's one thing I hate, it's being tortured by someone with cold hands.*
12-23-2005, 02:45 AM
Crystal watched the arguments in silence until she noticed Kelborn doing the same. She moved over to him and spoke quietly enough that only he heard her.
"A source of amusement or annoyance?" she asked him. "Their argument, I mean."
12-23-2005, 11:08 AM
Kelboen turned his head and looked at the young woman beneath his helmet and visor. She was attractive he thought to himself for a moment, before shaking the thought away. "Its rather amusing, considering. We are wasting so much time, we should be headed to coruscant, or to Dxun, to get help against a growing threat." He stated. "But instead, like children, the stay here squabbling about who's being rude to who." He continued. With that he stood up sharply and shouted to the argumentative crew of the Ebon Hawk. " THIS BEHAVIOR IS UNBECOMING OF A MANDALORIAN." The other crew members grew silent, and looked at him momentarily, he had grown calm again. "I'll be in the cockpit if anyone needs me." He turned from their sight, and stormed twards the ship's cockpit.
12-23-2005, 12:05 PM
*Well, perhaps we should all agree to get along, shall we? This behaviour is unbecoming of a Time Lord, as well. Come K9.* said The Doctor, turning around and heading back to the TARDIS.
12-23-2005, 12:40 PM
"That would be the best thing." Kira said. Turning to Atton and Disciple, she added, "Why don't you two go with the Doctor and his assitants and help them get settled?"
"See, actually, I was going to..." Atton began, but after a subtle look from the Exile, he finished "Do that right now."
With that, he and Disciple left, talking in low tones.
Kira again turned to Karda. "Seeing as you'll be escorting us to the Council, would you rather stay on the Ebon Hawk or return to your own ship?"
"What do you think that Jedi really wants?" Atton asked Disciple as they receeded down the hallway.
"I find him honest. I do believe that he is simply an errand boy for the Council."
"I dunno. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw 'im."
"As a matter of fact, I'd say the same about you."
"Jee, thanks. Great to know I've got you watching my back..." the Scoundrel said. "I just...he just doesn't seem right to me..."
"Or perhaps you're more worried about the Exile's reaction to him?"
"So you caught the looks she was giving him too?"
"I don't think she even knew what she was doing."
"Either that or she was trying to mask it..."
12-23-2005, 12:53 PM
The Doctor opened the TARDIS door and entered. K9, Nyssa, and Tegan following, Tegan forgetting to close the door behind her, though nobody noticed.
They entered a very large white room. It was impossible for such a large room to exist in such a small blue box, yet there it was. In the middle of the room was a strange console with a short pillar at it's centre. The console had many blinking lights on it, as well as dozens of buttons and switches.
"Are we staying here long, Doctor?" asked Nyssa.
*I think so.* he answered. *I can't see any harm in it.*
"But I thought we were going to visit my Aunt back on Earth?" whined Tegan.
*Relax, Tegan. Earth will still be there when we're done here. It's not going anywhere - well, nowhere where we can't find it again.* Now, neither of you have slept in almost 3 days, so I want you to go get some rest. I have a feeling tommorow is going to be a big day.*
"What about you, Doctor?" asked Tegan. "You haven't slept in three days, either. It shows, too."
*Yes, I will get some sleep soon, don't worry about me.* Nyssa and Tegan walked through the door opposite the entrance and dissapeared.
*I want you to shut down your systems for now. You need to recharge your energy packs.*
"As you wish, Master. Goodnight, Master."
*Goodnight, K9.* With that, K9's head fell limp, and the light in his eyes went out, leaving the Doctor alone in the quiet console room.
12-23-2005, 01:34 PM
"If its all right with you, Kira, it would be more convenient to stay on the Ebon Hawk for now." Karda said. "And, I think there are some things I'd need to discuss, about the council- unless you are sure about letting me take you back?"
12-23-2005, 01:38 PM
From behind Atton and the Disciple, Crystal listened. She kept herself silent enough to be unheard and unseen by either of them. Unsure who to trust, she slipped away to be alone... not an easy thing to do in a ship this size with so many people aboard. In the end, she found the Exile. Instead of immediately striking up a conversation with her, Crystal sat on the floor, her back against the wall and her knees pulled up to her chest. In this position, she watched the Exile waiting for an answer from the newcomer.
12-23-2005, 01:51 PM
"Of course, that would be no problem," Kira said. She then noticed Crystal sitting near-by. Turning to Karda, she said, "Come with me," and began to head off to one of the dormitories. Before out of sight, however, the Exile gave Crystal a look as if to say 'one moment'.
Once they were alone in the dormitory, Kira leaned back against one of the bunks, her eyes closed. A lot had happened that day, and things had been hard for her to digest. After a moment, she opened her eyes and stood again, turning to Karda. "We have some extra room in this dorm. Pick a bunk, but try to avoid the bottom farthest on the left and the bottom bunk farthest on the right. Those are Atton's and Disciple's."
As she finished, she sighed, "And you said you have questions?"
Atton silenced the Disciple for a moment, looking behind them, but finding an empty hallway.
"What?" Disciple asked.
"Nothing...I just thought...Nah, nevermind."
They continued into the main hold, finding the TARDIS there. They went over to the door which was slightly ajar. The two men exchanged a look, Atton shrugged his shoulders, and the Jedi pushed the door further open and entered to find...
"Sith's blood!" Atton said, gazing around the white room, "How the hell does something like this fit into something so small??"
12-23-2005, 01:55 PM
Kelborn had punched the coordinates for Coruscant into the main console. He grumbled to himself about Mandalorian honor, and his thoughts traveled far beyond the reaches of time and space, back to the height of the Mandalorian wars. HE rembered fighting against jedi, and he had survived. He had even taken a prize from two jedi he managed to defeat. One green, and one blue lightsaber, which against Mandalore's wishes, he trained himself to use. He knew nothing about the "force" per say, as he had no connection to it, but he did no how to use his sabers, and he used them well. He did not trust many of the crew he now traveld with, which may have been from years of ingrained paranoia, or perhaps it was his mandalorian training, but something wasn't right, and he knew it. So as always he remained on his guard, his expressions masked behind his red armor shell.
12-23-2005, 02:01 PM
"Sith's blood!" Atton said, gazing around the white room, "How the hell does something like this fit into something so small??"
*Ah, mr. Rand, Disciple! Welcome to the TARDIS!* The Doctor faltered at the expressions on their faces, then realized what was wrong. *Ah yes, you don't know yet. The TARDIS is dimesionally Transindental.* seeing the confused looks on their faces, he simplified: *It's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. You see, the interior of the TARDIS exists in a different dimesnion than the exterior, allowing for the size difference. I'm not sure I understand it completely myself, actually. What brings you here, may I ask, gentlemen?*
The swoop bike hood slid open as silently as he could make it, and he dropped to the floor without a sound, closing it again. Brax looked around, hunching down, the force refelcting light around him and dampening the soft sounds of breath and feet. He crept quietly through the ship, eyes darting around. Stopping in the main hold where Crystal leaned against a bulkhead. He frowned, and slid along one wall, past an alcove on his right, and then down the neck of the ship and toward the cockpit.
He glanced into the room on his right, a droid was plugged into the astrogation terminal and he avoided it, slipping into the cockpit, looking over at the Mandalorian sitting in the pilot's seat. He moved slowly, silently, into the co-pilot's seat. And then, apeared.
"You're a mandalorian aren't you?" He asked, glancing at the man, "Stay quiet, the other's don't know I'm here, obviously, but I think that you and I could come to an arrangment."
12-23-2005, 04:17 PM
"We came to see if you needed anything." Disciple said as Atton did a 360, taking the place in.
"Another dimension..." he muttered. This was...a little over his head.
12-23-2005, 04:21 PM
"Yes, I do have a bit of things I would like to know- as would the Council, no doubt. Mostly just what you did after you defeated Darth Traya, and how you met up with Revan. And what you are doing now." Karda said after Atton and the Disciple had left.
12-23-2005, 04:23 PM
Kelborn turned to face the man, unphased. "Was the armor a dead give away?" he asked rather amuseldy. as he placed his hand on his stolen lightsabers. "Go ahead I'm listening."
.................................................. .................................................. ................
The dark figure had made his way down onto the planet, Ziost. He could feel the dark energy of the world flowing through him, it gave him great strength and focus. Thousands of his newly reawakened Massassi rushed about throughout the structures of dozens of abandoned fortresses on the ancient Sith world.
His two hungry terentatek had already found their first victim, by ripping a massassi who got to close, to pieces. The dark figure proceeded along the main walkway observing his underlings with a dark gaze........
12-23-2005, 04:29 PM
"We haven't been doing much, really. After Traya's defeat...well, we began a search for Revan. That is, until we docked on Nar Shadaa to refuel, and that's when everyone arrived. Revan, the Doctor, you...quiet a coincidence, actually..." she said, thoughtfully.
12-23-2005, 04:33 PM
"Funny how those happen, isn't it?" Said Karda, thinking back to many stories and tales of great Jedi heroes.
12-23-2005, 04:42 PM
"Yeah...though I think we both know that true coincidences are rare..." Kira stopped, a shadow falling over her face. Hadn't Kriea said that to her so long ago?
12-23-2005, 04:43 PM
"We came to see if you needed anything."
*No, we're quiet alright, thank you.* said the Doctor. *Wait, there might be something you can do for me. K9 detected a spacial disturbance in the garage earlier. He couldn't identify what it was, though. Is there anything in there that could have caused this. A damged hydro-spanner or the like?*
12-23-2005, 04:48 PM
"I'm...not sure." Disciple said.
"Nah, Bao-Dur makes sure that all the tools are in perfect working order. He wouldn't let anything break." Atton said, finally getting his head out of the clouds. "Though...I did feel like someone was watching us..."
12-23-2005, 04:53 PM
*Well then perhaps we should investigate. K9?*
K9 reactivated immediately.
*Sorry to wake you K9, but we're going to go investigate the spacial disturbance in the garage bay. Come along.* The Doctor walked out the TARDIS door, K9 following close behind.
12-23-2005, 04:56 PM
Disciple and Atton followed immediatly. The Scoundrel loosened his blaster in its holdster, and when Disciple gave him a skeptical look, he said, "I've got a bad feeling about this."
12-23-2005, 05:01 PM
The Doctor turned the corner into the garage bay. He looked down at K9.
*Now, can you localize the source of the disturbance, K9?*
K9's "ears" rotated for a moment. "Negative, Master. The spacial disturbance is no longer present."
*What? Are you sure?*
*Well where could it have gone?*
"Insufficient data to formulate a conclusion, Master."
*Well, let's take a look around anyway.*
12-23-2005, 05:04 PM
"Wait a moment," Disciple said, pausing, "There's...something in the cockpit I didn't sense before. Perhaps it is the disturbance we're looking for?"
12-23-2005, 05:09 PM
*K9, do you detect anything?*
"Negative, Master" he responded.
*Well, Jedi senses are rarely wrong, so we'd best investigate.*
12-23-2005, 05:13 PM
As the group approached the cockpit, they heard voices. One was the Mandalorian, but the other...was unfamiliar. Disciple reached for his saber while nodding to Atton, who armed himself with his blaster...
12-23-2005, 05:15 PM
*K9, ready your laser*
"Acknowledged, Master." and with that, a short piece of cylindrical metal protruded from K9's mouth.
The Doctor himself had no weapons.
12-23-2005, 05:19 PM
Sensing something strange, Karda noticed the group sneaking up to the cockpit. Staring at them he poked his head around the corner and watched them get closer. "What are you guys doing?" He asked quietly.
12-23-2005, 05:21 PM
"Shut up!" Atton hissed.
"There's someone in the cockpit," Disciple whispered.
"What?" Kira had come around the corner now as well.
((OOC: 3yks...where are you...))

((It's almost as if 3yks has a life or something.
1500 posts!!!! w00t!!!!))
(Sorry guys, long work day.)
Brax smiled faintly, "Why is your armor somehow relating to the fact that you are a mandalorian? I have only heard of your kind in rumors and such." He shrugged. "I want Revan, the others I could care little about. From my understanding of the mandalorians you might be able to help me arrange a one on one duel with him, these other Jedi are of no concern to me, but Revans' activities in the places you call the 'unknown regions' have been ... unhelpful to my people." Brax's clawed hands lifted and he glanced behind him. "Damn." He whispered, and the force folded around him, rending him for the most part invisible. He stood up slowly, and grabbing the back of the chair rotated himself to where his feet touched the ceiling, holding himself up there.
12-24-2005, 01:06 AM
*Keep it down, K9! What is it?*
"The spacial disturbance has returned, Master." he said in a low voice. "It originated from the cockpit."
*What's causing it?*
"Insufficient data to formulate a conclusion, Master."
12-24-2005, 11:15 AM
"Argh, damn it!" Atton said before pushing his way into the cockpit. "Alright, Mandalorian, who was just here??"
12-24-2005, 11:20 AM
((1 day left until Christmas! Too bad I have to work tonight...))
"Danger, Master, Danger!" yelled K9. "Unidentified alien life form detected!"
The Doctor spun around to look at K9 for a second, then, realizing what he just said, looked around the cramped cockpit.
*Where? I don't see anyone?*
"Unable to give a precise location." he responded. "Spacial disturbance conincides with life form readings."
*You mean that the spacial disturbance is being caused by this alien?*
12-24-2005, 11:36 AM
Kelborn turned ever so gently in the pilots seat, to face Atton. "Whos here? look around you, what do you see? ME. I am all thats here, I think to much stagnation is starting to short circuit your mind." Kelborn retorted nonchalantly at Atton. HE then rose to his feet slowly and pushed Atton out of his way, "If you'll excuse me, I'll be in the cargo hold, honing my skills." He began to exit the cockpit.........
12-24-2005, 11:39 AM
*Hold it, Kelborn.* said the Doctor. *There was someone else here, K9 has said so, and Disciple confirmed it. Now, who was here, and where did they go?*
12-24-2005, 11:53 AM
When he didn't respond, Atton grabbed the Mandalorian by the throat and shoved him back into the wall. "WHO'S HERE?" he yelled in his face.
12-24-2005, 12:33 PM
(( There, I started a new page this time. Happy now, 3yks?:xp: ))
*Atton, no!* yelled the Doctor, grabbing Atton by the shoulder and pulling him away from Kelborn. *Violence is not the answer.* he looked at Kelborn. *You said that Mandalore sent you here to help Kira.* he said. *Well, she's in danger now, I'm sure. Please, tell us. Who was just here?*
Some archaic robot had detected him? He frowned, the cloack staying around him ... his arms holding him up with little effort. His body was honed to near perfection, his gray hair drifted beneath him brushing against the seat. He hoped nobody sat down, they might get a tickeling sensation from his hair. Well at least the mandalorian wasn't giving him up. He'd half expected to end up fighting right now.
Maybe the mandalorian will help me arrange my fight. A smile crossed his lips at that thought.
(Going X-mas shopping, and then to parent's, will be able to post more this afternoon. jsut so you all don't wonder why I'm not posting :P)
12-24-2005, 02:17 PM
((ARCHAIC?!? I'm going to cry now.))
*Well Kelborn? Do you dare disobey Mandalore?*
12-24-2005, 02:59 PM
Kelborn stared trhough his visor at the group surrounding him. "You all are directing your mistrust and anger at the wrong source. You should be preparing for battle rather than squablling over nonsense." He could see them all staring intently at him. "But like Mandalore said, I am here to help you." He turns his gaze towards Atton. "I admire your courage boy, but if you ever try laying a filthy hand on my armor again, i'll teach you some manners, the mandalorian way."
The group did not back away from him, he could see they wanted an answer. "If you must know someone was here. He sought Revan, wished to challenge him, an honorable request. But he has gone, vanished into thin air, much like her appeared. That is all I know, and Lying is not the mandalorian ways."
12-24-2005, 03:18 PM
"He's telling the truth." Kira said. Stepping past the others, she put a hand on Atton's shoulder, gently bringing him away from Kelborn, "We can trust him."
"Kira..." Atton said warningly, but she silenced him with a look.
"He's still here." Disciple said, looking up towards the ceiling. "I can sense him."
"But we can't see him." Atton said, rather put-off, "How can we hit what we can't see?"
12-24-2005, 03:27 PM
"What do you mean, he just vanished?" Karda asked, just coming into the cockpit. "Did you know anything else about him?"
12-24-2005, 03:45 PM
The Doctor pulled out the sonic screwdriver.
*If he dissapeared into thin air, then he must be using some sort of cloaking device. I might be able to disrupt it...*
The Doctor began fiddling with the sonic screwdriver, which emitted the strange whining sound at different pitches, depending on what frequency the Doctor set.
12-24-2005, 04:43 PM
Kelborn remained as he always had been, calm and uneffected by what was transpiring around him. He turned to answer Karda's request. "All I know, is exactly what I've told you, he sought Revan, and said nothing more. Before he vanished from mys sight." He folded his arms impatiently accross his armored form.
.................................................. .................................................. ...
As the dark figure stretched out through the force, he could feel a slight tingle in his mind, an echo of his past was growing closer, this echo was searching for him. When this small ripple reached him, he would strike it down. " I can sense you Kreta, you seek to challenge me, only in your tiny mind could you concieve of yourself to be my equal. But I shall let you come, and I will destroy you, like I have to so many before."
Brax's eye twitched at the high pitched noises coming out of the sonic screwdriver, but, lucky for him, he was not a device, and so remained invisble through a variety of attempts the Doctor made to disrupt his cloack.
He was going to have to move soon though he realized, the effort of maintaing the cloack AND holding himself was starting to strain him a bit.
(and now I need all of YOU to post before I can continue :P)
12-25-2005, 12:21 AM
*The Sonic Screwdriver doesn't seem to be revealing anything* said the Doctor, deactivating it and putting it back into his pocket. *K9, can you try to localize the disturbance one more time?*
K9's ears rotated again, his sensor probe protruding slightly. "Negative, Master." he said after a moment.

"Don't trust a robot to do the work of a telepath," Crystal murmured, more to herself than to anyone else. She projected feelings of dismissal, but deep within her mind, she searched for the stranger she knew was there... in the cockpit somewhere. A small corner of her mind thought through her words. Why had she said that? That corner of her brain gave a mental shrug, hoping that the Exile was the only one that heard it... for some strange reason, Crystal trusted the Exile.
12-25-2005, 08:51 AM
Kreta's ship sropped out of Hyperspace in the rubble field of the remains of Septilon Aurek. He closed his eyes and swept space's recent Force evolutions. It hit him:
"I can sense you Kreta, you seek to challenge me, only in your tiny mind could you concieve of yourself to be my equal. But I shall let you come, and I will destroy you, like I have to so many before."
He was on Ziost! Kreta opened his eyes and let an evil grin form on his lips.
My tinymind, eh?" he thought. "It is you who will be destroyed, for killing my friend, and for trying to kill me."
He reset the coordinates and launched back into hyperspace.
Kreta made his way down the ramp of his ship. He sensed thousands of the Massasi warriors in the ancient structures of the planet. Not wanting to destroy his future resources, he switched on his stealth belt and crept up to the nearest structure; but he stopped. The Force was tingling. Suddenly, it kicked him i the shins: he turned sharply. The quick movement caused the stealth belt to power off. In front of him, stood the Dark Lord he sought: Darth Malagant, behind him stood two terentateks and five Massasi warriors. Kreta drew his double blades from his belt and ignited all four ends.
12-25-2005, 01:56 PM
(I'm back. Could someone give me a summary of what's going on?)
12-25-2005, 02:10 PM
((Why not just read what's been posted since you left? It'll be easier...
Basically, Karda has boarded the Ebon Hawk, and the Doctor and K9 went to his ship with the TARDIS to learn more about him. They discovered that Karda is here to take Kira back to the Jedi council.
Brax has contacted Kelborn about a one on one duel with Kelborn. Once detected, Brax cloaked himself and is hiding on the cockpit ceiling. K9 and Disciple both know he is in the cockpit, but they don't know where. 3yks, Brax, needs everyone else to reply before continuing.))
The Doctor thought he heard Crystal mutter something. He bent down next to K9 and whispered to him, so that nobody would hear. *Did you hear what she just said, K9?*
"Negative, Master. Apologies."
*It's alright, K9.*
Brax felt some push at his mind, as if somethyign was searching for him, Crystal felt a glimmer of him, but he shifted, moving ... she knew where he had been, but he had turned his body, rotating on his arms, putting his feet on the back of the other chair, and then sliding silently to the ground behind it. He knealt, inches from that stupid archaic robot dog thing.
12-25-2005, 03:06 PM
The Doctor looked up at the ceiling. He was sure he had seen something move.
"Master? I am detecting an increase in your heart rate and vascular pressure. Are you well?"
*Yes, I'm fine, K9. I thought I was...* he trailed off, grabbing the sonic screwdriver again. He began fiddling with the controls again.
"MASTER! ALIEN LIFE FORM DETECTED!!!" K9 yelled suddenly. He turned around, firing his laser at something a few inches from him.
12-25-2005, 03:08 PM
((Crystal ain't usin' the Force, 3yks... read my post in the 'Casting Call' thread and correct your post... it'll feel more like a tiny bit of pressure on your mind... but still enough to perhaps startle you and get you to move. so in response...))
Crystal turned her head and muttered something in a strange language.
"I had him for a second," she murmured. "He's moved now."
She took a step into the cockpit and whispered, "Sorry..."
With that, she 'expanded her mind'. By taking control of a small portion of the brains of the others, she knew more... could expand her telepathic abilities further, now encompassing the entire ship.
"I'll find you," she murmured, touching his mind again only to feel it slip away yet again. "That's a promise."
12-25-2005, 03:13 PM
The Doctor felt a small push against his mind. He turned to Crystal and saw her lips moving. He recognized the language, though he couldn't understand her. He pushed back with his Gallifreyan mind, easily resisting the mental invasion.
Stupid little thing. Brax's cl;awed gauntlet slashed out, force energy turning the red blood like marks on the end into something akin to a lightsaber, he slashed the dog across the face. His body came into view. He was a good six and a half feet tall, thyin and almost frail looking, his skin was a light blue in color, his eyes were black inside of white. His hair was grey, nearly white and rustled from his period of upside down time. He pushed up with his legs, launching himself past the others. Somehow managing to weave his way through their bodies ina matter of moments.
"I'm only here for Revan," He said, spinning and standing in the hall, looking in at them. Then, vanishing ... Crystal could feel him moving away from them, toward ... Karda's ship.
12-25-2005, 03:55 PM
*K9! ARE YOU ALRIGHT!*
"Affirmative, Master. No vital circuitry has been damaged. Laser has been disabled, Master."
*Yes, alright.* said the Doctor, not listening much. *We'd better get you back to the TARDIS. *He can only run to the docking ramp, which leads back to mr. Karda's ship. I'll take the TARDIS there. Make sure he can't run back to the Ebon Hawk!*
Without waiting any more, he ran to the TARDIS after K9, the screeching noise (http://www.dwwa.net/Tardis/Takeoff2.wav) filling the ship seconds later.
The Jedi ship sat there, quiet and empty. The TARDIS' engine niose (http://www.dwwa.net/dr4/Pyramids/quicklanding.wav) filled the main bay again, the TARDIS fading into existence just in fron of the docking ramp. The TARDIS was possitioned so that this... thing.... couldn't get past it. The Doctor stepped out the door, closed it behind him, and stood in front of it, his arms croosed, waiting.
(I'll be waiting to add more until others have had a chance to add as well. )
12-25-2005, 04:00 PM
(( Good idea. You, wildjedi, and I need to let others post, too:xp: ))
12-25-2005, 04:01 PM
Crystal was startled, distracted. She turned to stare at the Doctor. Just as easily as she was confused, she dismissed the confusion. With his strange mode of transportation, she was sure, he had a somewhat different mental structure than she was used to. She let it go, avoiding his mind in her reach for mental capacity.
12-25-2005, 04:09 PM
The Doctor stood there, his mind racing. What was that mental push he had felt from Crystal? Did it have something to do with what she had muttered to herself? He would have to ask Kira later - he was sure that she had reacted in some way to Crystal's words. He was glad that he was able to resist her mental powers, having powerful ones of his own. He though of how she could missuse mental powers comperable to his own - she could be just as dangerous as The Master. He pushed these thoughts from his mind, and waited for the stranger to come - his cloak would no doubt be damaged, and he would therefore be easier to track.
*I hope.* he muttered to himself.
12-25-2005, 10:16 PM
Revan used the Force. He sensed the thing inside the cockpit. He pulled out one of his lightsabers and ran to the cockpit. "Concentrate....." Revan thought. R3evan ran to where the Ebon Hawk was docked with Karda's ship. He put his lightsaber to the enemie's head, the end of it nearly touching the scalp. "I am the one you want." Revan declared. "Appear before me or else suffer a serious injury to the head."
12-25-2005, 10:35 PM
Tegan woke suddenly. She thought she had heard someone enter the TARDIS. She lay there, not daring to move, when she heard the TARDIS engines begin to grind. She got up, trying to keep quiet. When she got to the door of the console room, the engine had stopped. She opened the door a tiny bit, and saw The Doctor bolt out the door. Opening he door the rest of the way, she ran to listen to what was going on outside.
(Uhm, brax is not in the cockpit anymore, he's currently moving from the hallway to the cockpit to where Karda's ship is docked with the Ebon Hawk.)
12-26-2005, 11:12 AM
(Oh, I'll change it.)
12-26-2005, 11:41 AM
((Hey, do you guys realize that this RP has surpased the Secrets of the Sith in number of posts, which was started months before this one?))
"No I won't" Brax said, standing a good five feet away, as he apeared, waved and dove into the other ship, reaching out with the force to press the cycling controls. The airlock cyceling, and letting him onto the other ship.
12-26-2005, 03:06 PM
Tegan heard the sound of the airlock cycling, and wondered what was going on. Through the crack in the door, she could see the Docotor standing a few feet from the TARDIS, his arms crossed, waiting. A sudden movement behind her made her jump, and she saw K9 standing there, his face torn open.
"K9! What happened to you, are you alright?" she asked urgently but quietly - she didn't want the Doctor to hear her.
"I am damaged, Mistress, but it can be repaired."
"The Doctor's outside the door, waiting for something, by the looks of him. I want you to go wake up Nyssa; it looks like the Doctor is going to need our help."
"Yes, Mistress." said K9. He turned around and went out the door Tegan had come from, on his way to wake up Nyssa. Tegan returned to the door, just in case the Doctor needed her help.
Nyssa woke with a start.
"What is it, K9?"
"Mistress Tegan requests your presence in the consol room."
"Oh, alright, I'm coming." she said sleepily. She got out of her bed and followed K9 to the control room, wondering what on "Earth" she could want
Tegan stood at the door, staring at the back of the Doctor's head.
'What do--" began Nyssa as she entered the console room, but Tegan silenced her with a quick hand gesture. Nyssa lowered her voice: "What do you need, Tegan?"
"Come here a moment. What do you make of this?" she moved over so Nyssa could see out the crack in the door.
"It's the Doctor." said Nyssa, thinking this was a bad idea of a joke.
"Look at him."
"What about him?"
"He's just standing there. What do you think he's doing?"
"Waiting for something, by the looks-- wait, tis isn't the Ebon Hawk!"
"I know. I heard the engine noise - that's what woke me up - and I came here to ask the Doctor what was happening."
"K9, do you know what's going on?"
"Well? What is it?" asked Nyssa impatirntly.
"An unidentified alien life form was detected in the cockpit of the Ebon Hawk. It damaged me, and fled towards the Jedi ship. The Master Doctor is wainting for the life form, hoping to intercept it."
"Well we'd better hope that Kira will be able to help! We have no weapons." said Nyssa.
"K9 does! You have to go help him!" siad Tegan
"I would be of no assistance, Mistress. My laser is damaged and inoperable. I would be a huinderance, not an asset."
Well then it's up to us to help the Doctor!" Tegan moved past Nyssa to open the door, but Nyssa grabbed her by the arm.
"No! The Doctor probably has a plan. One that depends on us being out of the way! If he's in danger, we'll go out!"
So they waited with bated breath to see what the Doctor was up to.
12-26-2005, 08:07 PM
As Brax fled down the Ebon Hawk, Karda heard the airlock making noise, and ran for his ship. It sounded like someone was trying to get in it.
12-27-2005, 04:48 PM
As the others left, Kira turned to Disciple and Atton. "C'mon guys, you know what to do."
"Search and destroy." Atton said, making sure that the battery in his blaster was at a safe level.
Disciple and Kira took sabers in their hands and ran after the others, heading for what seemed to be the airlock.
"You don't think he's gone to Karda's ship?" Disciple asked, "What would be the point?"
"I don't know, but there's only one way to find out." she said, and continued on.
'Don't trust a robot to do the work of a telepath.'? What had she meant by that?
12-27-2005, 07:45 PM
((3yks, I hope you're not planing in any way to have something to do with the tracer? Is that why you're going to Karda's ship? Because I have a plan as to how the tracer got there. One that affects the story a great deal, actually.))
12-27-2005, 08:25 PM
Karda punched the controls for the airlock, which opened up to his docked ship. Drawing his lightsaber, he carefully walked into his ship, looking around for the intruder. He saw nothing, but he knew someone was in his ship, somewhere.
Brax had frowned at the Doctor, since the man was in his way. Luckily for him, the doctor's hope that his 'device' was broken, was wrong, he was only mildly injurd from the blaster bolt he had taken, and his device was infact, himself. So he cycled the airlock but stayed in the Hawk, moving out looking for EVA suit, and after a few moments located one. Pulling it on, and recloacking himself with the aid of the force to move a bit faster. The suit was standard, and his gloves clicked into place where the normal one's would have.
Now to get out of either ship to where his own could pick him up. He pondered this, part of him considered simply cutting his way out one of the walls. His claws were no sabers, but it wouldn't take them long to work through the hull. Still ... No, he didn't have any desire to murder those in the ship with no cause. He was really just after Revan. But he knew that the others would help Revan. He moved back to the Airlock, watching Revan looking for him. How to throw him off so he could get to the doctor.
12-27-2005, 08:43 PM
((you need to read my post more carefully.... the TARDIS is blocking the hallway:
The Jedi ship sat there, quiet and empty. The TARDIS' engine niose filled the main bay again, the TARDIS fading into existence just in fron of the docking ramp. The TARDIS was possitioned so that this... thing.... couldn't get past it. The Doctor stepped out the door, closed it behind him, and stood in front of it, his arms croosed, waiting.
Ah well, who cares. It would suck to have your character get captured, especially this early.))
(I'm willing to change it, but is he In Karda's ship blocking the way? Or in the Ebon Hawk ... either way I will change it so that he gets the EVA suit int he hawk realizing he can't get into the other ship easily. (he'll still cycle the airlock to throw people off him) then come back and threaten the Doc ... *goes to change it*))
12-28-2005, 11:45 AM
((Clicky (http://www.freewebs.com/doctor99/Sounds/Refrain.wav). Thanks. I think I PMd you about....maybe it can happen now.))
12-30-2005, 09:52 PM
The Doctor heard the airlock cycle, and his hearts began to beat faster. The stranger would no doubt be arriving soon. The Doctor smiled to himself, imagining the alien's surprise to find that the Doctor had beaten him here.
*I love time travel.* he thought to himself.
12-31-2005, 02:25 PM
((I don't mean to step on any toes and just 'barge' into the storyline, but I haven't heard a yes or no yet from Sion about joining and the Doctor and I were concerned that this thread is dying a quiet death. As this is my first post in the thread, its kind of long. Sorry.))
From the cockpit of her small ship in orbit around Dantooine, Jasra Lantill grinned as the co-ordinates of her homing device indicated Karda’s location. “Ah, just out of Nar Shaddaa. The cesspit of the Galaxy. I should have known.”
She had been extremely fortunate to have intercepted the transmission from Master Verga to Karda. It hadn't taken her long to realise he could find the Exile easier than she could. And it had been easier still to place a tracking device on his ship before he had left. She tweaked a button on the ship’s console, and listened. It wasn’t long before the static gave way to a conversation, its modulation slightly distorted.
"This is Jedi Knight Karda, to the Ebon Hawk. Do you read me?"
"This is the Ebon Hawk; we hear you loud and clear, Karda. What's your business tailing us?"
"I was sent by the Jedi Masters on this mission. They sighted you off Hal Hutta, and they sent me to find out what the Ebon Hawk was up to. Who is this? Is this the Jedi Exile, or another occupant of the ship?"
"This is Kira, the Jedi Exile. What business does the Council have with me? I thought they were all dead."
"If you mean Vrook, Kavar, and Zez-Kai, then yes, they are dead. But the Jedi were able to rebuild and gather more force-sensitives to them after the war. The Jedi Enclave on Dantooine has been partially rebuilt, and is home to several Jedi. The current Jedi running things are the 'Masters' of which I spoke."
Jasra snorted with disgust.
Karda continued. "When you fled from the smuggler's moon, I followed you, perhaps not the only one.”
Jasra raised an eyebrow.
“My intentions were just to see what you were doing. Would you mind if I boarded, where we could talk better?" There was a pause. "I assure you, I mean you no harm, and I doubt I could cause any trouble there anyways. I need to speak with you."
"Very well, if you wish to board the Hawk, we will be waiting for you."
Jasra shook her head. “That was just too easy.” She drummed her fingers on her comlink, thinking for a moment before activating it. There were some bleeps as the link connected.
“Begin transmission,” said a metallic-sounding voice.
“It’s Jasra,” she said. “I’ve found her.”
“So soon?” There was a short pause, then the voice continued. “I see I may have underestimated your tracking abilities. No matter. Transmit the co-ordinates to me and return to the rendezvous point for further instructions.”
“Whoa, wait a minute. What further instructions?” Jasra frowned. “What about my payment?”
“All in due time,” said the toneless voice.
“Yeah? Well I say payment’s due now. No credits, no co-ordinates. That was the deal.”
“The deal was for you to locate the Exile and bring her to me.”
“No, the deal was that I locate her for you to speak to her,” Jasra said firmly. “I’ve done that. Once I give you the co-ordinates and frequency, you can speak to her all you want over a comlink. My job is done.”
“Her physical presence is necessary for the conversation to be productive.”
“You don’t speak to me face-to-face,” Jasra chided. “And if that’s good enough for me, it’s good enough for her. If you want the co-ordinates, then pay up. Otherwise, you can forget it. I’m not getting burned on this one.”
“Then perhaps we can come to another arrangement,” said the voice. “Bring the Exile to me and I will double my original offer.”
Jasra thought a moment. “Triple it and I’ll see what I can do. But I still expect payment for what I’ve done so far. I’ll need the credits to cover any unexpected expenses.”
“Agreed. I am transferring your payment now. Transmit the co-ordinates to me. They will be helpful in case you should fail.”
“So good to know you have such confidence in my abilities,” she said dryly, as she punched a few button on her console. “Done.”
“Excellent. Return to the rendezvous point for further instructions when you have the Exile. End transmission.”
Jasra let out a heavy sigh. “So much for easy credits.” She punched Karda's co-ordinates into the navicomputer and her ship jumped into hyperspace.
Coming out of hyperspace, Jasra approached Karda’s ship. It was docked with another--the Ebon Hawk, she presumed. “Well, isn’t this convenient.” With the two ships linked together, it wasn’t as if either of them could jump into hyperspace without plenty of notice. She frowned slightly. “Too convenient,” she said slowly.
Something was odd. As former Jedi Padawan, Jasra could sense the presence of more than two Force users on board the two ships.
Not wanting her own Force Sensitivity to be detected by either Karda, the Exile, or whoever else was on board, she used the masking technique she had developed, drawing the Force so deep within herself as to be indistinguishable from any average sentient being. She didn’t trust Jedi. Not anymore. They had abandoned her, and so she had abandoned them. They had lied. And now so would she.
She hailed the Ebon Hawk. “This is the Republic scout ship Moon Shadow. You appear to be adrift. Can I offer you any assistance?”

Crystal was just leaving the cockpit when the transmission came in. She glanced around uncomfortably and found that she was the only person still there. With a little sigh, she moved to the comm unit.
"This is the Ebon Hawk," she said. "We are not adrift, thank you, Moon Shadow. A meeting between Jedi is taking place... not quite my cup o' tea... then again, not much happening over here is really anything I'm too happy about." She shrugged. "Then again, I'm more or less unimportant to the others, so who cares what I think?" She allowed a bit of annoyance into her voice for her last words.

Tegan stood there in the Ebon Hawk, staring at the back of the Doctor's head. A sudden sound from the TARDIS console made her jump - someone was trying to contact the Ebon Hawk, and the TARDIS was picking up the signal.
"This is the Republic scout ship Moon Shadow. You appear to be adrift. Can I offer you any assistance?"
"Nyssa, do you hear that?"
"It sounds like someone is hailing the Ebon Hawk."
"Why are we hearing it?"
"I don't know." Nyssa scanned the TARDIS controls for a moment. "There - the spacial transiever is active for some reason. The Doctor must have forgotten to deactivate it after the message from Gallifrey." ((The message from Gallifrey has no bearing on the current story.)) "If I can modulate the frequency to the same as that of the ship out there, we might be able to call for help."
She fiddled around with the controls a little bit, not entirely sure she knew what she was doing - she had only ever seen the Doctor operate the transiever once before. She bent over to speak into the microphone in the console.
"This is Nyssa of Traken, onboard the Ebon Hawk." she said. "In a way." she added under her breath. "There's something strange going on here. The Doctor - our "captain" of sorts, and a friend of Kira Starr's - is standing inbetween the two ships, wainting for something. We don't know what."
There was no response. "It didn;t work. We must not be able to transmit through the hull of another ship."
"Then we'd better hope somebody else responded." ((You are not supposed ot hear this, Jasra. I posted this before I saw WJ's post, and have modified it so that the Doctor still turns his back to the Ebon Hawk - it's important.))
The Doctor heard voices. They were coming from inside the TARDIS. He turned around a opened the door, and saw Tegan and Nyssa at the console. He opened his mouth to speak...
((3yks, this is a good time for what we discussed to happen))

((where the heck is Darthsion101? he is needed to make our part continue))

((Well, if he doesn't show up soon, Jasra and I have a cool idea where ths story could go. PM me or her if you want to know more. I PMd him about it, but he hasn't answered. Maybe if we emailed him, we could get permission to implement our idea.))

"This is the Ebon Hawk. We are not adrift, thank you, Moon Shadow. Then again, I'm more or less unimportant to the others, so who cares what I think?"
Jasra raised a doubtful eyebrow. She had expected either Karda, the Exile, or perhaps the Ebon Hawk’s pilot to answer her query, but the woman who was responding didn’t sound like any of them. But she didn’t particularly sound like she was part of the crew either. In fact, she seemed unhappy to even be on board. Jasra’s eyes narrowed as a suspicion rose in her mind that the voice on the comlink might belong to a servant, or even worse, a slave. She despised slavers, and took the greatest of pleasure in disposing of them at every opportunity. It seemed unlikely that a Jedi would keep slaves, but Jedi could not be trusted. And if the Exile had fallen to the Dark Side….
She needed to know more.
“Ebon Hawk, this is Jasra Lantill on the Moon Shadow. Identify yourself. Are you sure you do not require any assistance?”
Yet even as she spoke, she flicked the switches that activated her shields and charged her cannons, readying herself for a potential battle.

"My name is Crystal," came the reply. "Not a member of the crew... just a passenger, you might say, but when everybody else runs off somewhere, who else is there to answer your call?" She paused for a moment. "As far as I know, we don't require assistance. I'd get the Exile in here to talk to you, but I'm not sure where exactly she is... should I look for her?"
12-31-2005, 08:44 PM
“…not sure exactly where she is….” The words made Jasra’s head ache, and with two fingers she lightly massaged her brow between her eyes. Even when she had found the Exile and her ship, she still eluded her! Well, at least she knew that the Exile was definitely on board, and she exhaled a breath of relief in the knowledge that the Ebon Hawk was not a slaver ship.
Now she just had to figure out how to get the Exile to the rendezvous point and hand her over to Jasra’s employer. She had a few ideas. Time to test the waters….
“Thank you, Crystal, but no,” Jasra said, trying to sound as nice as possible while she typed a message into her comm unit. “You just stay put for now. This area of space is known for pirates and raiders, so it would be good to have someone manning the bridge at all times.”
She added her co-ordinates to the message.
“Having said that, I’ll try to keep an eye out for you until your captain returns to the bridge and takes over.”
She filtered the message through an encryption device.
“But you could you tell me what’s happening on the Ebon Hawk that is so important that they left you in charge? It seems like an awful responsibility for a passenger to bear.”
If the Exile was being distracted by something or someone on board, Jasra wanted to know what it was. The information could prove to be useful to her later on.
“And quite an unusual protocol.”
She hit the ‘send’ button. Message away. Now all she had to do was wait.

Crystal was suddenly uneasy. She had telepathic abilities, but had also trained herself to listen to voices... this Jasra Lantill was trying to sound friendly... almost too much so. Again calling on part of the minds of her companions, she stretched her 'thought bubble' out, enclosing Jasra's ship as well.
Just as quickly as she'd located Jasra's mind, she pulled back. It would do her no good to be detected. So she kept her consciousness on the fringe of Jasra's mind, trying to pick up any lies the other woman might be telling.
"Truthfully, I'm not sure," Crystal said, allowing her voice to fill with uncertainty. "They said something about a stowaway before everybody hurried out." She paused for a moment. "I'm really quite unsure what to make of the whole situation."
((Jasra, just so you know, Crystal is not Force sensitive. Her prodding of your mind won't feel the same as a Force sensitive might and it'll be harder to repel... though you'd probably feel it after having had Jedi training yourself. :) ))
12-31-2005, 10:46 PM
((Thanks for the info on Crystal, WildJedi. Since Jasra was only a young Padawan when she lost her Master, she's not that experienced with the Force. (Even though she's been learning a few things on her own.) I don't think she would detect Crystal's intrusion unless it was rather blatant. So, if Crystal wants to probe her mind, let her do so. :) ))
Jasra recalled Karda’s transmission in her thoughts.
"When you fled from the smuggler's moon, I followed you, perhaps not the only one.”
Was someone trying to steal her bounty? Or had her anonymous employer hired another to bring in the Exile, just to ensure success?
"Transmit the co-ordinates to me. They will be helpful in case you should fail."
He did, Jasra thought. That slimy little hutt-slug! Just wait until I get my hands on him. But if there was someone on board the Ebon Hawk with intentions to bring in the Exile, she had to deal with them first. The Exile was hers. And since Jasra was outside the Ebon Hawk, and the interloper was inside, she needed to act quickly.
“Crystal, listen to me carefully. I want you to close and lock the door to the bridge. Lock yourself in. I believe that your stowaway could be dangerous.”
Well, that wasn’t a lie. If the stowaway was a bounty hunter, they most certainly would be a danger to anyone who got in their way.
“There have been recent pirate raids in this area…
A half truth, granted, but still completely plausible. There had been pirate raids out here, but none recently. She’d seen to that last month. Had been paid well for bringing in the leader’s corpse, too, as she recalled.
“…and this could be an attempt to overtake your vessel by causing a distraction elsewhere on the ship, leaving the bridge unattended.”
Because that’s what I would do, she thought.
“If that’s their intention, you must not allow them to have access to the bridge controls.”
Because then they will attempt to shut off life support in order to knock everyone unconscious, so they can take the Exile intact to wherever they want. Not a bad plan, Jasra thought. Too bad I didn’t think of it first.
“Do you understand, Crystal?”
She hoped she did. Crystal sounded like she was genuinely confused about what was happening on board the Ebon Hawk, and even though Jasra brought in the occasional bounty, she didn’t like to see innocent bystanders get hurt in the process. It was just bad form. Anyone else though…well, they just got what they deserved.
