Battle 4 mission 1 HELP PLEASE

Hi,
I've been stuck on this mission for at least a week and I'm starting to get really frustrated. I have no problem clearing out the enemy craft on the first half of the mission but once the freighters hyperspace to the next location one of them for no apparent reason just blows up. I think it actually runs into another freighter. This happens regardless of whether I'm at the Viraxo or rebel base. I know the ship isn't being blown up by Black Sun craft (they aren't close enough to attack anything). Is this a bug or am i just doing something really wrong? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this problem, so the only thing I can do is ask if you have the 2.02 patch installed. If not, get it as quick as possible.

Yes, it does sound like a bug, although, I have completed this mission with the game unpatched ! This has never happened to me but I've read other players' posts mentioning it.
It seems like that the only solution would be to install the 2.02 patch

This happened to me as well. I thought I was going crazy. However I played one time and it didn't happen. I think I just use a different approach vector (angled away at full throttle 100% engines, and then back toward it.)
I think the patch might fix this as well...
