Hi everyone and happy new year,

I new to this forum but not to the Jedi Knight series :)

It's been a while since I last finished JA and I was wondering if there any total modification for single-player game (like with Max Payne).

Also, I haven't played on-line at all. Do I have to have a subscription to do this? What about the internet connection? Will a 384 DSL do the job well?

Cheers,
Callahan

No, but some are close to finishing. Like knights of the force (www.kotf.com) and dark forces (http://darkforces.jediknight.net/).

You've been missing out! You don't need a subscription, just an Internet connection. Some people use dial-up, so you should be fine. I suggest you download QTracker, though, rather than use the in-game browser. That way you can set up a filter so that it only lists basejka games (possibly with other settings you like, such as full force or something). You definately want to avoid the JA+ servers.
