Hi there! :)

I've just seen that in the data folder of "LEGO Star Wars", there is a sound effects file named "sfx.dat".
I'm actually building a SW sound FXs section, and I'd really like to open that .dat file.
How can I do?

Thanks ;)

Like all problems in life, this one can be solved with a text editor such as notepad.

Open it with notepad.

I've tried to open it with NotePad, which tells me that the file is too big, and with WordPad which give me a text file with understandable content.

In fact, I don't understand the relation between a data file with sound files in it, and a text editor...

edit : So, someone can explain me, in detail, how I can open that file with a text editor, please? I really need those sounds...
Thanks

Try searching google for information on .dat files. I don't know about .dat files, sorry.
