View Full Version : The Duel, in the Time of Episode II

03-10-2006, 02:52 PM
Ten years after Jedi Master QUI-GON JINN defeated DARTH MAUL,
the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. COUNT DOOKU, a rogue Jedi
Master, has fallen to the Dark Side and is leading a separatist
movement against the Republic. Thousands of solar systems are
threatening to secede. Master Jinn and his young apprentice,
OBI-WAN KENOBI, are sent to discover the source of this threat
and to end it. Attempts have been made on PADME AMIDALA'S life.

Young Obi-Wan discovers that there are many obstacles in his
way to confronting Count Dooku, including a faction of Dark Jedi
who are loyal to their Master behind the scenes. The passionate
TYSY DVUKH, their leader, hopes to become Dooku's apprentice...

"Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power..."

Tysy Dvukh softly repeated the words to herself as she saw the
two dark shadows in the distance. Jedi they were, and powerful
ones. She could feel serenity and peace flowing from their forms,
yet also righteous anger. After all, it was Tysy's distant Master,
Count Dooku, who led the Separatist Movement forward.

"It was not I who gave the order to kill Senator Amidala," she told
the two figures coolly. "Only my Master has such power, and yet
he surely would approve if I took it upon myself to strike you down!"

She slid her lightsaber from her belt--double-bladed, as Darth Maul's
had been. Quickly after that, she rolled her black sleeves up high.

"See these scratches, these long scars?" she asked. "It has taken
me so long to master the saberstaff, but I have, and the pain has
only made me stronger. Jedi, I challenge you both to a duel!"

Her twin blades glowed red, and her smile was triumpant in the light.

03-10-2006, 05:45 PM
((Qui-gon in Ep II? That's a new one. I thought it would be Anakin. Oh well.))

Obi-wan had his hand on lightsaber and Qui-gon did the same. He said, "Master what do we do?"

03-10-2006, 06:37 PM
(Whoopsie. I meant Anakin--but you are still Young Obi-Wan, right?) :)

03-11-2006, 01:34 AM
Obi-wan drew his saber out. The blade glowed a bright blue. He said to Dvukh, "Why do you serve such a master?"

03-11-2006, 12:21 PM
Tysy smiled and strode forward. "I serve Count Dooku because he is
a conduit to power. He is nowhere near as strong as his Master,
Darth Sidious, but in time, if I get close to Dooku, I get closer to
the Dark Lord of the Sith. I hope to serve the Dark Lord as his
apprentice, for one day, I sense that Sidious will rule the galaxy!"

She turned to Obi-Wan. "Have you never wanted such power, Jedi?
Such influence over the masses? Such a pivotal role in the history
of the galaxy? That is what I want, and that is what your Order
would deny me! Humility is no reward for me, and I've forsaken it."

03-12-2006, 02:02 AM
"My allegiance is to the Republic, to democracy," Obi-wan replied. He moved his saber into the middle stance. He said, "Only the Sith see things in absolutes."

03-12-2006, 05:13 AM
Unknown the three who had just engaged in battle, a man stood above them. Watching the battle from a birds eye view, using both force powers and technoligy to cloak himself from them. When he takes off his cloack you can see he's wearing simple civillian clothes but he's also wearing a strang mask. He thought to himself The girls has a large ambition..No sirprise there.*sigh* Why is it that all the apperantices think there using there masters? I'll love to see the look on her face when she release she's the one being used..Thats if these guys dont take it off first...

03-12-2006, 03:15 PM
"Not always. Four thousand years ago, there was once a great Sith Lord
called Darth Traya. She believed that wanton slaughter, murder for its
own sake, was senseless and stupid. I believe this also, even though
Traya was cast down and exiled for it." Tysy Dvukh flipped into a
Power Attack move and crashed her saberstaff into Obi-Wan's blade.

"You will strike down my Master if you find him. If I die defending
Dooku, and if he lives, then my life won't be a total loss, Jedi!"

03-12-2006, 08:52 PM
"Lies,...deceit...er, are the way to a path that dominates you," Obi-wan countered. He stood his ground on the backfoot so as to see what this Sith would do. It was a trick that his longtime friend Ashira had taught him. She had been the best at combat and tried to deny it even to the masters. He steadied himself and remembered a specific count that she used multiple times, almost like her people's warrior dance. He began the count in his head and made ready to block and strike.

03-12-2006, 09:13 PM
(uhh.. So is my character, Revan in this or not?)

03-12-2006, 09:42 PM
(I don't think Revan was alive during Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Sorry!)

"Lies and deceit are indeed the way of the Sith," countered Tysy, "but no one
would ever pledge their lives to our cause if there were not some truth in our
code. Why do you Jedi deny the most natural of human feelings--love, anger,
fear, and hatred? You say that the Force is to be used as a tool, and never
a weapon. Why?" She used her mildest form of Force Scream on Obi-Wan.

"You feel the rumbling in your ears, and you tremble from the echo. I don't
want to slaughter you. No. That would be a waste of your life, and my
energies. Much better it would be to have you believe in us of your own
free will. This duel is only happening because both of us would rather
fight and die than give way. Some compromise can be reached, I'm sure."

After a pause, she said, "I'm not using Force Persuade on you. Come, great
one. Yielding to an opponent is no weakness if he or she makes you stronger."

03-13-2006, 12:20 AM
Obi-wan felt a pain of Force scream but was comforted by a gentle and familiar voice in his mind, I sense her fear, she thrives on it. Reach out and find that which does not invoke fear. Cast aside what you see and hear, reach in deep, the way of Bushida, your adopted people. Obi-wan felt reassured by her voice. She was always watchful and he ws inspired and obeyed. He gathered his strength and projected to the Sith woman in front of him, "Nahelachut (Bushida). No, you are governed by what you fear most. I am guided by what is more powerful and can't be beared by one that has fallen so far."

03-13-2006, 06:16 AM
(so, can I make a new character in this since I originally chose Revan?)

03-13-2006, 12:50 PM
(Sure, and fantastic post, JediMaster12! :))

"What do I fear most?" asked Tysy. "The thing that all Sith fear most--
the loss of power. You do not know the history of my surname yet,
and why should you? To Jedi, all Dark Jedi and Sith are the same,
enemies that must be captured or killed. My name is Tysy Dvukh.

"Why the 'dvukh'? It means 'two' or 'twice' or 'second', and my strength
lies in my service. As an apprentice, I double my Master's power. I
increase all of his vital signs by a value of two increments, and I
double his power in the Force. If I ever betray my Master, then I
shall lose my power. Three-quarters of my strength in the Force will
be lost, and not only that, my Master shall hunt me down and kill me.

"Do you fear nothing, Jedi? Nichevo? We shall see."

Tysy did not have the power to strike fear into the hearts of her foes,
but she believed such a power was a waste. Better honest fear than
induced fear, and Tysy prepared for a long series of Improved Flurries.

03-13-2006, 02:26 PM
((Thanks. The 'she' is a character in my fanfic The Lost Tales of Revan. I created a whole race of people in that))

Obi-wan glanced at the Sith before him. True she gave an honest fear but using the techniques that Ashira taught him, he saw it ran deeper than that. He crossed over still staying in the middle stance and watched as she attempted flurries. Obi-wan countered feeling the Force run through him like an energy charge. It filled him with a strength and he knew that Ashira was there with him though she was elsewhere, a benefit of the bond she shared between him and Siri Tachi. When there was a lull, he said, "Fear of losing power is an honest fear. What truly governs your heart runs deep, deeper than what you reveal."

03-13-2006, 04:50 PM
At first, Tysy did not pay attention to the last part of Obi-Wan's words.

"Akh, vy! You have resisted my attempts to strike you, and done quite
well. I expected nothing less from one of your caliber, but if you seek Dooku,
know that you will fall before him. My Master has his powers, as I have mine.
He is the one who is afraid of nothing, because he draws his strength from
anger. Anger and tyranny. Defeating Dooku will be difficult, but it is Sidious
that you must watch...Sidious that I would die to serve. The true Dark Lord."

Tysy then turned to Obi-Wan. "You say my fear runs deeper than I've
revealed to you. Chto eto, hmm? What is it? What do I fear the most,
more than losing the power I've gained? More than being killed by my Master?"

03-13-2006, 05:19 PM
You stupid girl. They're not ment to know about Sidious. Why the hell don't you just tell them who he really is. Takes a deep breath. I'll see how this duel goes and my orders are to prevent her from dieing. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that...

03-13-2006, 06:06 PM
((Tys, is it all right if I control two characters. The one I keep mentioning was kind of paired with Obi-wan throughout their training in the temple. I'll post the bio in the recruitment thread))

You fear what all others fear when others start to trust. Betrayal, the worst crime any person could commit, a female voice sounded through the Force. Obi-wan maintained a defensive posture aware that something or someone else was around. He just stared at the Sith in front of him aware that Ashira was doing what she did best, a fishing expedition that was right on target. He could hear her as she pressured the Sith to talk.

03-13-2006, 07:02 PM
((Sure, that would be fine. Uh-oh, ;) Obi Wan has done something to me...))

Tysy's Will Saves: -2

"You're right. I do fear betrayal, especially by my fellow Dark Jedi. All of them
would kill to serve at Dooku's side, directly in communication with him. For now,
though, we all must wait to see which apprentice he selects to be his own. I
don't know if I'll achieve this rank, but if I do not try at all, I am nothing!"

Tysy felt that somehow, the Jedi had gotten inside her mind. A trick! She hissed.

"You may not fear betrayal, for the Jedi do not betray their own unless they
summarily fall to the Dark Side. If there is nothing that you fear, then you
must be a droid! Ah, well. Fear is not the only path to power. Love is far
greater, and steadfastness, and passion. Qualities that your Order would
have you deny and suppress. We Sith have no such restrictions, and we
are all the better for it. And now, Jedi, I shall end this duel once and for all!"

She threw herself directly at Obi-Wan, her double blades twirling. Anger and
passion and indignation--all of these emotions radiated from the Dark Jedi.

03-14-2006, 02:18 AM
Out of seemingly nowhere a Force wave emulated throughout the cavern that sent the Sith flying. Obi-wan was shocked himself. He hid it quite effectively knowing who it was. Sure enough with a strong and steady space with her bronze saber lit was Ashira-Li. She walking forcefully up to the Sith and began by saying loudly, "Fear attracts the fearful, the strong, the weak, the innocent yet betrayal spawns it in you. Can you not see that there is no longetivity for you? It is written upon your face."
Obi-wan was impressed at Ashira's words but then again she had that ability to be heard. She was a leader as he heard his old master once speak of her to Yoda. He opened his mind to a battlemeld with her and she assumed a position he knew well.

03-14-2006, 01:29 PM
Tysy's Reflex Saves: -2 (since she was knocked down by the Force Wave)

"Owwwww...." That was all Tysy could say now, or moan, since she had hit
her head while falling backwards from the Force Wave. "Gde vy? Where
did you come from?" She focused her watery eyes upon the Jedi before her.

"Your power--it radiates off of you, as if you were the twin suns of Dantooine!
How can I gain such strength, even though I am no longer worthy of it?"

She shook her head. "Foolish me! I should have known you've come to
kill me, since I've threatened your apprentice, Obi-Wan. Very well. If
there is no longevity for me, if my face shows it, then strike me down.
Finish me! I die as an unworthy Sith both ways, either by your hand
or by my Master's! He is distant and silent, Dooku is, always plotting
and planning. I know I cannot defeat you, for I've barely learned the
second rank of Force Push! If you sense this, then send me onward!

"To the Shadowlands, as dark-natured Wookiees call it. I'm done for!"

03-14-2006, 05:55 PM
"No.." A gentle voice called. From behind a stealth shield a young jedi padawan appeared. He looked at his comrades. Obi-Wan and Ashira Li. "Violence is a path to the dark side. A brutal path that begins with the emotions of peace and relaxation throughout others sufferings, but eventually gathers and gains unto a dark torrent of hatred, fear, and guilt. Before us, many unstable Jedis have drifted this dark path to the sith, and the only thing they ever feel is regret. They've started from simple things such as killing an enemy when they ask you to, falling in love, letting your emotions get the better of you." Arvik closed his eyes. "Why?" He asked and turned to Tysy. "Ever since you made that painful journey to the Dark Side your life has been filled with regret. You regret that you ever chose to join the dark deep inside, for the dark has given you a regret for life. I may be just a weak padawan, but I've seen face to face what happens when someone falls to the dark side. They continue an endless cycle of violence, hatred, and betrayal. It..it..it's just not right. They always regret it in the end. So I suggest that you get up from the ground, and turn from your evil ways! Ending your own life is a betrayal not only to your master but to yourself. You don't think that you have the right to live. So end this regret now and repent!" Arvik ended his speech of wisdom and stood by the other Jedi.

03-14-2006, 07:45 PM
"Repent?" asked Tysy, her voice a near-whisper of weary resignation. "How
could the Jedi Order take me back after what I've done? Since deciding to
turn to the Dark Side, I've smuggled 20,000 credits' worth of illegal weapons
and armor to those who serve my Master. I've also killed Sith apprentices in
the combat arena--killed, not dueled. Two, I know. Maybe three, but my
teacher punished me because the third one merely collapsed from fear.

"I am nothing. You've seen that in our duel here. Have you changed your
mind about killing me? Knowing what I've done--that I'm a murderer--may
have convinced some of you that justice must be served, and I must pay
for my crimes. I am willing to accept this punishment. Better that than an
ignoble death at the hands of one of my rival apprentices. Strike me down!"

03-14-2006, 08:02 PM
"The jedi shall do no such thing." Arvik said. "Have you ever heard of the sith lord, Revan?" Arvik asked. "He was a cruel, vicous murderer and he did much more crimes than you could've done. He was accepted back into the order. And the famous exile, she destroyed all life on Malachor V, but she went back to the order. You can still turn around. Don't take the dark path!"

03-14-2006, 10:30 PM
Tysy nodded. "Very well. I--I sensed there was something inherently
wrong with my turning to the Dark Side, besides the fact that doing so
is, well, inherently wrong." She smiled ruefully, and there was frustration
in her tight grin. "I was not only betraying the Jedi Order, but I was also
betraying my own nature. Myself. Thus, I will repent, if you'll accept me."

03-15-2006, 12:52 AM
Ashira spoke softly, in a voice that soothed the hurts of the younglings, "No one is turned away from redemption. Free yourself of your base passions that drove you to turn. Passion can lead to rage and fear but it can be controlled. If you are willing then you may. Do or do not, there is no try."
Obi-wan had powered down his lightsaber and gazed at the strong posture of Ashira-Li. Ashira herself had not powered down her saber. Something told her that not everything was as it seemed. She had seen enough of war having led an army on her homeworld and fighting as one of the famous Bushida Handmaidens. She wasn't ready to let her guard down yet until she was sure. For now, she would wait for a response...

03-16-2006, 01:09 PM
Tysy stood up slowly. The Jedi Master had not powered down her lightsaber,
and the young Dark Jedi expected that the Master would not, unless her total
surrender was in order. "What drove me to turn in the first place, do you wonder?

"A desire for power and influence over the galaxy, which I thought I could
achieve through Count Dooku, and then Darth Sidious. A hunger, insatiable,
for more knowledge than my instructors desired to teach me. Haughtiness,
impatience, and anger. Love had a part in it, too. I had--feelings--for one
of my fellow Padawans, back when I still followed the path of Light.

"He told me he felt the same way, but then he was cut down by a thug
intent on stealing some credits. The bandit was in no way affiliated with
the Dark Jedi or the Sith, just a cutpurse who made his living by robbery
and murder. Dima's soul screamed out to me, and I wanted revenge!

"I am weary of this, weary of being a hunter. Trying to be on my guard
against those fellow students who would betray me. All for a chance at
being betrayed in turn, either by Count Dooku or Darth Sidious. No more!
I yield, and may the Force reclaim me after I forsake my dark power!"

Tysy threw her lightsaber hilt at the Master's feet and then lay down
flat before her. She was overcome with a hot weakness, as if she were
about to pass out cold. Due to her turning from the Dark Side and thus
betraying Count Dooku, the Force had left her in a great degree. She was
sapped of strength, this Dvukh, and she prayed the Master would help her
regain it. Not for nothing had Tysy paid this price, never to be number one...

03-16-2006, 02:09 PM
"What in yoda's name is going on!" The man shouted out, still remaining hidden from the group "Tysy! You weak little girl! Dooku was a fool to send someone who was too cowardly that she would fall from the light side so easily!"

03-16-2006, 03:30 PM
Though she could not see him. Ashira-Li threw her still lighted saber at the direction of the voice. The movement was so fast, it looked like it would have cut the former Sith girl's head off but such was her skill that Obi-wan didn't worry. He had seen her do similar moves countless times, especially when she dueled Dooku with Yoda. After the saber returned, Ashira spoke to the voice, "Cowardice is one who would not meet their adversary face on." She turned to Obi-wan and the Sith girl and said, "Let us leave this place."

03-16-2006, 05:12 PM
"Good point.. But my orders aren't to kill you. I'll let the droids keep you busy for a short while." A droid dropship could be heard landing outside(thats if your inside somewhere) and the sound of droid footsteps could be heard, getting louder and suddenly superdroids entered the room.

03-16-2006, 06:16 PM
"I'll take these out." Arvik said, pulling out his green lightsaber. He ran out of the cavern and looked in front of him. A whole army of droids. This may be hard.. he thought. He threw his lightsaber at one of them and it came back to him.. He charged in and slashed at the droids, leaving wires and parts behind. A shot came at him and he blocked it with his lightsaber.

03-16-2006, 07:13 PM
Ashira had a look that was blended with you gotta be kidding me and one of determination. Obi-wan caught the drift and opened himself to the bond they developed as younglings. With a gesture towards the Sith, Ashira asked her to join. Concentrating on the Force, they sent a Force shockwave throughout the cavern that moved little more than half of the droids. Ashira made sure that ot would not affect the Jedi Master that was trying to cut them down. When the dust settled, Ashira tossed the Sith girl's saber and motioned to join in. With a lightning speed, Ashira-Li took off and started swinging her saber in precise movements. Obi-wan followed suit for she had taught him some advanced saber moves, ones that were taught to her not by Yoda, but by an old Bushida master, Senator Petronius of the Avalonian system.

03-16-2006, 10:12 PM
Droids. Tysy had always hated them, except those of the helpful utility variety.
With a whirl of Improved Flurries at her command, she threw herself into the
battle. A coward, was she? No more. She knew she'd die at peace, which
would not be the case if she'd happened to be struck down by Dooku.

03-17-2006, 12:23 AM
Ashira-li motioned Obi-wan and the Sith girl to follow.(I'm calling her that because Ashira doesn't really know her name). Ashira cut a swatch in front and Obi-wan and the Sith girl were to take the sides, creating a piercing point. Ashira didn't seem to work as hard for she was light on her feet, almost as if she were flying.

03-18-2006, 02:12 PM
Arvik cut through the pile of droids and closed his eyes and followed the invisble voice which seemed to be murmuring something. He sensed he was close. "Reveal yourself!" Arvik shouted

03-18-2006, 02:43 PM
(I wanted to join this but i don't know whats going on.... wheres the character sheet?)

03-18-2006, 03:02 PM
"Why would I do that? You clearly outnumber me" The droids stop coming and there was the sound of the dropship leaving. Two of you will have to leave before I show myself."

03-18-2006, 04:12 PM
"Afraid are you?" Ashira-Li spoke up. Obi-wan to her left and the Sith to her right. She continued, "Only a cowards would run and hide before facing an enemy on even grounds."

03-18-2006, 04:25 PM
"I'm no coward. I'm no idiot either. I value my life and I do not want to waste it fighting a match even Dooku could barely win. Two jedi knights must leave before I reveal myself or I will just simply call for more droids and maybe the new sith assassin dooku has trained.."

03-18-2006, 07:21 PM
"Thank you!" Arvik said. He was a very smart and wise young jedi and he just lured the hidden man into giving away his hiding spot. Arvik heard the voice which brought him to a ledge above. ARvik hit him with the butt of his lightsaber and he fell to the land below. Arvik jumped down there too. He saw the revealed man in civilians clothes and a mask. "You're trapped now!" ARvik said. "Surrender now!" Arvik held his green lightsaber to his throat.

03-18-2006, 11:37 PM
"Well done Arvik," Ashira-Li said softly. She looked at the Sith before her with the strange mask. Obi-wan had a strange looke as well. They both had never seen one like it before and wondered why he was wearing one. Obi-wan asked, "You hide behind a mask. What do you fear?"

03-19-2006, 05:23 AM
"That lightsaber you have at my throat is one of them but I know Jedi's don't kill prisoners. What do you fear?"

03-19-2006, 05:30 PM
Arvik had a disgusted look on his face. "I know the sith." He said. "I hate the sith. All through my life, the sith had brought me nothing but trouble. I know it is against my order but I have a great feeling in my heart. Trust me. I will kill you if I need to. Even if it gets me exiled from the jedi. Count Dooku killed my father, and I AM GOING TO KILL YOU IF I NEED TO!" Arvik was serious, he had a look on his face that penetrated his enemy, and he intended to kill him if needed. "Now, surrender your army of droids and get off this planet, or you shall die."

03-19-2006, 11:29 PM
"Wait," Ashira said. She walked up to the Sith on the ground, kneeled and looked him in the face. She said, "We all have fear. Some can use it against you if you let them. Try to discern my fear and maybe you can leave. We will not kill you. It is not the Jedi way."
She stayed in that position waiting. All the while she was going through a technique in her mind. Obi-wan realised what she was getting at and started the same technique. She had taught him and Siri many things the other masters didn't know of.

03-20-2006, 06:32 AM
"NO!" Arvik shouted. "The Order dosen't mean anything any more! Surrender yourself!" Arvik looked at Ashira-Li. "Kick me out of the Jedi if I kill him, I don't care anymore!"

03-20-2006, 11:08 AM
"I really find it hard to believe that Count Dooku killed your father. Because Dooku only started killing people when the clone wars began and the war only began a month ago. And he's only really killed jedi and I dought you father was one or you wouldn't be here" The man tried to reason "Don't forget Dooku was once a jedi"
The man streched a bit "Plus, killing me right now will only make you as worse as Dooku. You wouldn't want to throw everything away just for the chance to kill me... would you?"

03-20-2006, 02:36 PM
"The Jedi do not believe in killing their prisoners. There is no emotion, there is peace," Obi-wan said. Ashira-Li nodded at him. Standing to her full height which is half a head shorter than Obi-wan, she faced Arvik. She looked at him and said, "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice in those around you. If you sink to the level of this Sith, then you lost more than your father. You have lost who you are."
Then looking at the Sith girl and asked, "What would you do?"

03-20-2006, 08:22 PM
Arvik chuckled. "Well, good bye, sith.." He said and sent the lightsaber straight through the Sith's head. He turned to everyone around him, and sheathed his lightsaber. "Don't worry." Arvik said. "He is just in a state of shock. He didn't really die. The lightsaber was just sending a beam of light, and it must have shocked him so much that he fainted. Trust me, I kindly believe in the ways of the jedi, but the part about my father being killed by Dooku was true. But I don't let my emotions get ahead of me. Now let's leave before he wakes up."

03-21-2006, 12:51 AM
((That was rather fast))

Ashira-Li was rather disappointed with Arvik. She had a strong dislike for combat but the masters at the Temple thought she should train more being that she rivaled Master Yoda. It also didn't help that Petronius taught her Bushida and the lightsaber forms. She tried diplomacy whenever possible and used her lightsaber only as a last resort. Obi-wan knew that as well and strove to learn from her example. He said, "What you did was wrong."
"What's done is done. All of you leave," Ashira had motioned them to leave the cavern. When she and the unconcious Sith were alone, she kneeled by him and whispered, "You have strength and a past as we all. I suggest you look at it," and with a gentle touch she healed the shock but knew that he would be unconcious for some time. She then got up and strode out to where the others were waiting. Firmly she said to Arvik, "I do not like this act of your doing," and she climbed into her fighter.

03-21-2006, 06:50 AM
(by shock I meant being surprised, not actually shocking him. He was so surprised that he fainted, not be being hurt. Nothing happened to him, he just was surprised. He never was hurt at all)

03-21-2006, 11:18 AM
As soon as the jedi left the room, the sith sat up "Well, now thats over and done with." He pulled out a com-link "General Solidus to all droid piolts. We have jedi who are out to attempt an escape of the planet. Fire appon all unknown fighters near my location!" The sith stood up and used force pull on the roof. However, instead of the actuall roof falling down, two lightsabers fall into the hands of the strangh sith.

Stupid jedi, you will all pay for what happened to me

((I hope you guys dont mind but I would like your ships to get damaged or destroyed so you dont really have any places to hide))

03-21-2006, 05:46 PM
Ashira-Li had a warning beep fromher astromech, one she built herself. She said quickly, "R4 says we are going to get some trouble." It was barely out of her mouth when several droid fighters appeared in the sky.
"Hurry. We must get out of here," Obi-wan was urging. Ashira directed the Sith girl to join her in her fighter. She then spoke through the communicator, "Red Four we are being attacked, how long before you are in position?"
"We'll be there when the word is given milady."
"We have three fighters on our tails and possibly more. We'll try not ot take them all out before you get here."
"Copy that."
Ashira-Li then directed the group through a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the fighters in an attempt to break for space.

Arvik looked out. He turned to Ashira Li. "Should I get to teh turrets?" He asked.

Is it too late to join?

03-26-2006, 01:32 AM
I'm not in charge of this, Tysyacha is. She hasn't posted in a while, but I'd think she'd let you. But I don't know.

Ooh..She should still remember me from the KOTOR roleplays..

((Everyone is in their own fighter Arvik. Jedi fighters :D))

Ashira-Li called for a V-formation of the fighters and sent signals of when to break. She was going to attempt a manuever that, if performed correctly, would leave a clear opening. Something was nagging at the back of her mind as he relayed the plan through the computer console of her fighter.

(Then I guess ARvik is a pretty young pilot)
Arvik soared through the skies, a little bit to the back and left of Obi Wan, following his master's orders. "All clear in V-formation, enemies coming from the left side."

03-27-2006, 02:15 AM
"Enemies on the right, six," Obi-wan reported. Ashira-Li acknowledged and continued to let the enemy fighters get closer, closer and closer...
"Break NOW!!" she screamed.
The fighters broke suit and there was an explosion as the enemy fighters crashed into each other. Ashira-Li was in a bad position and missed the big gun that was mounted in the mountain. She was hit in the starboard engine. Obi-wan flew to cover her, providing cover fire. Ashira-Li tried to keep the ship level but realized that it was going down and she relayed that messgae to Obi-wan through the Force. Being stubborn, he kept at her side seeing her down, getting clipped in the process. They landed hard and heavy but managed to eject through the Force and landed hard. They rolled slightly and ended up unconcious near a cave.

Arvik tried to send a mental message to the two. Don't worry. Arvik thought I'll get you out! Arvik first shot up high in the air, out of reach of the turret and put the ship in stealth. Then he gently flew his ship down near the cave where they landed. He got out of his ship and then suddenly the gunner noticed that a ship was there and he blew it up. Arvik jumped behind a rock and watched it explode.

Ashira-Li awoke with a headache that she immediately began to use the Force to welcome the pain and ask it to heal. She glanced around at the fireballs of the downed ships. Seeing that her astromech, R4, whom she built herself, had made it made her feel alot better. She gently woke up Obi-wan who was in experiencing a similar headache and he asked her what was going on. They didn't seem to notice Arvik as they made sense of their bearings.

03-27-2006, 05:33 PM
"I see you're still alive, master." Arvik said. "It is night right now, just to let you know. You landed outside the cave but I dragged you in here to be safe. After Obi-Wan tried to save you I snuck up in stealth, landed my ship near you, but just as I got out, it exploded! But at least were all safe, and I notice R4 is too."

Ashira-Li looked at Arvik with a raised brow but said nothing. Instead she got up and tried to call the Sith girl only to find that her communications were damaged. She turned to Arvik, "Is your comm working?"

03-27-2006, 06:57 PM
"Yeah, I wasn't injured or anything, but it looks like you got quite a shock. Don't you remember what happened to that girl?" Arvik asked.

03-28-2006, 12:51 AM
"We broke formation, she was heading for the opening. She may have been shot down," Ashira-Li saud, "And I am not in shock."

03-28-2006, 07:13 AM
"She managed to safely get away." Arvik said, but then her ship exploded and I have no idea where she is now.. But if your comn is broken, her's probably is too. But you can try." Arvik handed over the comlink to Ashira-Li. Then Arvik walked over to Obi-Wan. "Do you need anything? You look tired." Arvik asked.
