Halo Graphic Novel

This isn't a place to bash Halo, though I'll be the first to say it's one of the most overrated game franchises ever. This is to talk about this (http://bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?story=HGNJedi631sucks&p=6438173) article if you haven't seen it for yourself.

I myself am quite curious to see how this thing turns out. I loved The Fall of Reach. It was a great novel and actually let me have a deeper appreciation for the Halo games than I first had. This could also add to my appreciation for it if it's good. The variety of art seems interesting, though I'm not thrilled by some of them. The stories also seemed varied enough to appeal to every fan of the game.

The other two I'm not thrilled about. One's too anime-ish and the other's too cartoony. Neither fit with the mood the games or books have previously presented.

I'll definately get it for the sheer fact that it's a halo comic book, and I love the 3 halo novels they put out already. I can't wait :)

If it were softcover, I would. Hardcover graphic novels can cost alot. I'll just read it in a bookstore or rent it from the library if any around here get it.

And I agree. The cover is eff'ing amazing stuff.
