My english teacher has decide to give my class 2 pop quiz essays on material we have never seen. To show you how cruel this was to my class, I'll ive you there PSAT scores, the lowest one was a 700-1350. I have the second highest in my class, but those I take english with range from 700-1000. Also you get 200 points for puting your name on the paper. I have a class of complete morons.

Then those that are smart in my class, ask me for help because they don't understand something then they tell me I'm wrong. Yet They still come back.

A pop quiz is a quiz or test that is unknown to the student. All of the sudden you're sitting their and without warning, you are given a test.

milky, a pop-quiz is a term for an unannounced exam. In school we're usually told what the exam schedule is (every Firday, or every two weeks or whatever - depends on the class and the teacher of course), and you get in the habit of preparing for those tests at the last minute. But then the dreaded pop quiz comes up and you suddenly have to answer test questions on a day that you weren't expecting to have a test.

It takes all kinds... The question is, what is 'it'?

We had a pop quiz today over some Shakespeare that we were supposed to read in our FREE TIME. Who'd want to do that??? Well, I didn't. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/biggrin.gif Needless to say, I got some "help" on the quiz. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/wink.gif

On my own, I've read A Midsummer Night's Dream (<FONT COLOR = "green">Puck</FONT> is one of my favourite mythological figures; he's also one of my patron spirits), and John Milton's Paradise Lost and the sequel Paradise Regained (I was going through an angel obsession).

We ARE surrounded by morons. My theory is that 99.9% of all the people in the world are idiots.

Exceptions:

Long-time visitors of this board
Long-time visitors of a couple of other boards.
Bill Gates (I do hate him, but you gotta admit he's damn smart)
All the authors of Star Wars books (Hail Stackpollah!)
George Lucas (duh!)
Steven Spielberg
Inventors that invented stuff

listen, you made me feel like **** for the better part of a year. i THINK that enables me to say whatever i want about you.

Andromeda
01-23-2001, 08:13 PM
no it most certainly does not. just because you had issues concerning me, that does not give you a right to call me whatever you want. common courtesy prevents that, especially since pretty much anything that happened was not my fault anyway. i never did anything mean to you, all i ever did was tell you the truth, and being honest with you does not entitle you to be cruel to me.

Nute Gunray
01-23-2001, 08:17 PM
common courtesy also prevents people from saying how happy they are that someone else isn't present when that person is standing behind the speaker. that's something i will NEVER forget. ever.
and you lie to me all the time about ALL sorts of stuff. from stuff as small as saying that you are going to bed (as a way to get me to stop talking to you) or that it was literally months before ANYONE told me you were dating that guy and made me do something stupid yet again.
i can and will say whatever i want to you about you. i'm just surprised it took me this long to actually do it.

Andromeda
01-23-2001, 08:25 PM
okay look, that one thing was very wrong of me to do, and i'm sorry for it. that's why i said almost everything. and the fact that nobody told you i was dating that guy is not my fault. i'm not usually the kind of person who goes around telling everyone all the time that i'm seeing somebody. if you had asked me, i would have told you yes, i was seeing someone. and you know, every time i told you i was going to bed i think i had justification for it. like when you would blame all of your earthly problems on me and say everything you ever did that was bad was my fault. i think i have a little bit of a right to act the way i did.

Nute Gunray
01-23-2001, 08:27 PM
