I have beat KOTOR II twice and on my third time and decided to play as Jedi Guardian. I know they don't "focus" on the force but I think they should get more force points than they do. So I tried editing the points that I currently had through the KOTOR savegame editor, however, it isn't working.

Any thoughts? It is also they same way with hitpoints

In the kse-readme.txt, under the Description header, look for the note with the astrisk.

*=Note: Max Hit Points and Max Force Points, while editable appear to be calculated
at the time the savegame is loaded. Therefore while these fields are editable, the
game will change the values back to what it calculates as correct. It is therefore
better to change your Wis/Cha and Con to affect your MFP and MHP.

Edit: I hate reading readme documents too. Writing them is even less fun. :xp:

Welcome to the forums. :)

You may not be able to edit it, but I can help you with it. The Jedi Guardian is my favorite class. Make sure you keep buying the most powerful weapons that you can for yourself. Just give spare items to your party members. That way you'll have enough spare credits for any powerful melee weapons that come your way. When it comes time for your prestige class, take either the Jedi Master, or the Sith Lord. Depending on what alignment you are. The Master and the Lord are force users, so it should balance out your character's weak force points. I always get this combo, and find it works incredibly well. One thing that can help this along is supersquall's skip peragus mod from pcgamemods.com. It gives you extra exp from Peragus, or exp that can only be achieved by accomplishing everything. You'll be at at least level 8 by the end of it. In the playthrough I'm doing right now, I had my Prestige class shortly after leaving the Telos academy, so it'll enable you to play a good portion of the game as a balanced character.
