Well, some of you may remember these kinds of threads from a while back. It's time for me to try to do a computer science project that is supposed to take 2 weeks in 2 days. I will be at the computer until Monday morning, so somebody talk to me!

Hi! (*realises he is probably the last person Keyan wants to talk to*).

Not much. As usual, I'm up at an ungodly hour of the night. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif

If I can do this project, I will be l33ter than anyone. It's pretty complicated. It's off to a rough start, but I'm getting there!

How are you guys?

Admiral Zaarin
02-17-2001, 12:51 AM
I'm fine. Watching a bit of TV, checking PA, generally passing time at 2am. So, Keyan what is this l33t project?
Zaarin.

(P.S. Remember, you may be l33ter than me, but you'll never be m0r3 in54n3 than me.)

Keyan Farlander
02-17-2001, 12:58 AM
True http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/wink.gif

The project is some movie database thing. It's just a bunch of crap that forces us to use certain data structures, like doubly-linked lists.

Admiral Zaarin
02-17-2001, 01:01 AM
*cringes at his own ignorance when he realises he hasn't the foggiest what doubly-linked lists are*

Anyways, I have to go. Might be back in an hour or two.

i have a COBOL (:rolleyes http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif class that's basically lectures only and since no one can ever get into the comp labs, no one ever gets their programs done...
my C++ class's books were basically never ordered by the bookstore, so that class got messed up...
accounting, my prof got, like, really sick and i hate the sub they gave us because it's a two hour class and he doesn't give us the break we're supposed to have
and since i skip those classes, i never show up to my business or english class (despite the lure of the incredibly hot chick in english)

I see no point at all in learning BASIC, really. It just sucks so much and doesn't help you learn good prgramming technique at all...

Admiral
02-17-2001, 01:54 AM
I probably should pick up a programming book. Just can't get into it.....
