Trouble with Visas Marr

This is for my wife... She is in Nar Shaddaa right after her first trip to Telos and she has completed all the major quests up to defeating the pirates on the Ebon Hawk. Once she defeats the leader and clears the rest of the pirates, she goes straight into the confrontation with Visas Marr without having gotten the last part for her light saber; nor does it let her go meet with the Exchange in the Alien Lounge. Questions: 1) How does she get her last part for the saber? 2) Can she defeat Visas without a light saber? (So far, no)

1) How does she get her last part for the saber?I've gotten a lightsaber part after my PC defeats Visas on the Ebon Hawk while on Nar Shadaa.
2) Can she defeat Visas without a light saber? (So far, no) Certainly. As with all combat the influencing factors are your PC's level, along with attack and defense bonuses from equipped weapons, armor, and other items. But I'm sure Visas can be defeated using melee weapons. I believe all you have to do is reduce her vitality points by 50% to break her lightsaber and trigger additional dialogue.

If she still can't do it, keep yourself alive & T3 will roll in & finish her off. :D

I never have lightsaber when i defeat Visas, because as fast i get of Telos, i get of the Ebon Hawk and then back in, and Visas is there.

(Spoiler) What order did you do the planets in? I went from Telos to Dantooine. In telos I got one part from the Ithorian I helped, In Dantooine I got a part from a salvager I helped in the Enclave, and I got the 3rd part from Visas Marr after the fight. BTW, I defeated Visas with two vibroswords that had been upgraded.
