Armor modding issues

Okay, so I just downloaded a mod for my pc so I could have Revan's robes. But my character is on the light side, and this mod is specifically for the dark side. I went through the readme file, and followed the directions it gave to make it possible for my character to wear the robes. But that didn't work, so I tried using the Kotor Tool to modify it myself, but for some reason it's still not working. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And I apologize if this thread is in the wrong place or whatever. I'm new here. :sweat:

Open it in KT.

Go to properties.

Click on the one that looks something like, "Alignment Restriction | Light Side."

Delete that property.

Save the file with the same name and put it in override.

Start a game where you don't already have the item.

Console cheat or find the item ingame.

Check if it worked.

Sorry that my instructions aren't more indepth -- I am away from my home computer right now and I don't have KT in front of me.
