I finally killed Bandon but now I have another problem. How can I persuade Lashowe to get me to help her find the artifact on Korriban? I have a high Persuade, but every time I try to persuade her, it fails.

I'm a female. I kept saying "Persuade: we can work together." but she always says, "Failure: Forget it. I'm not gonna be tricked so easily."

You need to be male for the Lashowe thing to work.

I didn't know you had to be male to do that part, but then I've never played part one with a female character. I just keep trying until I get a 20 on my persuade roll for automatic success. The problem beyond that is that there is actually 2 persuade rolls you need to make, so sometimes I make the first, fail the second, then fail the first five more times...

I think you can persuade her if you are female, but it is tough to get through the two rolls. I would not worry about it. You can still get plenty of prestige with Uthar without completing the Lashowe quest.

You can definitely do it as a female, but it might take a couple of tries. I managed it.
