Mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky, the Addams Family!

I was clicking through the channels when I catch an Addams Family marathon on Boomerang and remembered the fantastic family who scared the **** out of their neighbors.

Anyone else fans of this lovable macabre group of misfits?

"Their house is a museam. And when you go to see em, they really are a scre-em. The Addams Family!"

I freggin love the Addams Family. I've seen the movies a bajillion times, and love the old skool cartoon. Wednesday was always my favorite of the bunch. She was the beginning of the goth girl fo America. Do you remember when they went on Scooby Doo mysteries thing?

One of the best theme songs EVER!

I loved the first movie the best. The second was still good, but the first is still numba 1 with me.

Is the old cartoon on boomerang? I thought that was funny too.

I wish that this and Beetlejuice were still playing regularly. I think I'd enjoy both a lot more now. I didn't like either when I was younger.

Gomez was always my favorite character (O RLY?) because he's rich, powerful, and still a kid at heart. It's my dream to grow up to be like him. Plus swordfighting = awesome.

Did he ever swoardfight in the cartoon or the black and white TV show? I don't remember.

I don't think he did in the black and white show, but he jousted, swordfighted, and overall kicked ass in the cartoon.

My favorite character was always Wednesday. She was... so cool Especially in the bit where her and her brother go to camp. That was so funny... And then they get forced to watch feel good movies. I scare people off in the same way...

Uncle Fester was pretty awesome too. Always exploding.

But my favorite one-shot character was Uncle Cleaver, who only appeared in the family reunion episode, but was basically this manic maniac who had a trenchcoat full of knives, chainsaws, and machetes.

It was cool.

The first one...Was that the one where that one chick tried to steal their fourtion?

Also, I want to learn to do the mamushka someday.
"So let's dance the dance of brotherly loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! MAMUSHKA!"

07-28-2006, 11:10 PM
Sort of, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Addams_Family_%28film%29) there was a second one where a chick tries to steal their fortune. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Addams_Family_Values)

07-28-2006, 11:35 PM
The second one, the chick married Fester and tried to steal their money. the first one, this chick came in claiming to have Fester, but he got amnesia or somthing. And it turns out it really was Fester!

Imagine that! Also I remember in the second movie Wednesday and Pugsley went ot camp, and Wednesday got that nerdy boyfriend and destroyed the camp's thanksgiving play thing.

When I was little I had the Addams Family video game for the SNES, it was pretty fun for a crappy Mario clone.

07-28-2006, 11:47 PM

07-28-2006, 11:55 PM
