View Full Version : Avatars ...

I see some people are still using huge images for sigs.
This board allows for "Avatars" ... or images that are 70x70 max pixels ... to be placed under your name to give you a unique look.
You can add your avatar by going to the button "user cp" above and then picking your "edit options" option .. where you can add your URL to the avatar or even upload it to the server from your hard drive.
Lets start to see some cool ones show up, and lets ditch the massive sig pics.

Hey Aristotle, is this the new page you promised us you were booting up. It looks great either way.

oops sorry about the massive pic. it was a good pic nonetheless, but massive. so i took it off.

My don't you just shrink it. You can use powerpoint and then copy it to paint. There you can save it and post it in its new and smaller version.

not with THAT pic, tieguy, that pic would look funny and everybody would laugh at me and ask me what it is! i'll make my own avatar sometime. i'll probably use that sniper tower easter egg dude that you couldn't see in rogue squadron for my avatar. LOL

Avatars rule! I'll have to find a picture of a cannoli when I get back from vacation.

I never did see that guy.
07-29-2001, 12:00 AM
I don't think I know who you guys are talking about! :O
07-29-2001, 12:08 AM
You wouldn't unless you post at RS.net. He posted a picture that supposedly contained a guy in a tower on the fest level in RS. I saw teh tower but never did see teh guy that he said was inside of it.

there was a picture of that guy in the tower... a link to it is found in the thread about size-comparison between some sort of tank and an AT-At.. way back..

...so you wouldn't know where to get easy free webspace ?
08-02-2001, 11:19 AM
I use Homestead, 12 MB freespace, can use any web page editor or use their own provided editor. Works quite well.
Your site's address would look like this:
all in all...pretty good, but there is probably better out there.
hope that helps
