Can you play this game on 56k?

My cousin has 56k, and he won't buy it because he says it will lag too much.

JA isn't all about multiplayer though. Single player, although nowhere as good as in JO (in my opinion anyway), can be quite nice.

And the game should be extremely cheap by now. Even if it lags to the point that MP is unplayable (I doubt it), I think he would get his money's worth by buying it.

If he plays on a LAN that won't be a problem, but yeah, it will be a bit laggy on a modem. The thing is, if he's playing on a decent dedicated server (not trying to host his own).. may I recommend Meatgrinder... (shamesless plug!) he shouldn't be too bad, and he'll learn to compensate for the lag with his own.

There's always the improved bots from OJP Basic he can play with too if he can't stand online!

i could hardly connect to the internet on 56k, yet alone play an MP game...

Ya 56k can get annoying at times. ok Most of the time.

I play some games onine with Dial up and i Dont run into that much lag with the older games since I got a nice new comp. So you should run ok if you got a nice fast comp.

It not all about the connection. You need a good fast computer as well. if you have a fast connection doesnt mean you are not gonna lag at all. If you know what im saying.
