I have an interesting question. Is it possible to change the amount of force powers you can get per level in TSL? And if so how do you do it?

You can edit the classpowergain.2da file, it determines the number of force powers granted at each specific levelup for each class. You can check in classes.2da in the spellgaintable column if you are unsure what class the column labels in classpowergain.2da represent.

so essentially, it is as easy as changing the amount of feats you get per level? edit: I need to know a couple of thing as part of this. at what level do each of the party members enter the party? and at what level does the pc start using the force on paragus? in classpowergain.2da what is the 0th level equal to? the level the character starts using the force, because you can't choose powers at character creation.

What level your party members join depend on how you play, if you kill everything or sneak past enemies, if you skip sidequests and in what order you do the planets. And the number of light/dark points you get determine how soon Visas joins up (which could range from the first planet after you leave Telos if you are strongly set on your path, or not until you've completed your third planet if you play as gray/noncomitted.)

Party members gain party XP when they join up, so their effective level depends on what level the player is at that time. As for their base level, from which you can level them up, it seems to be:

Atton Rand - level 3 Scoundrel
Bao-Dur - level 6 Tech specialist
The Disciple - level 6 Soldier
G0T0 - level 6 Expert droid
The Handmaiden - level 6 Soldier
Hanharr - level 4 Scout
HK-47 - level 6 Combat droid
Kreia - level 3 Consular
Mandalore - level 5 Soldier
Mira - level 6 Scout
T3M4 - level 3 Expert droid
Visas Marr - level 6 Sentinel

As for the player using force: You start out as a force using class, but are given no force powers at character creation. Thus the first time you can get any force powers would be when you level up to level 2. :)

so i'm guessing that is why i don't get to buy force powers at what is the 0th level on classpowergain.2da and my (non-jedi)allies do. They get to buy the 0th level amount of force power after i convert them to jedis during the story. edit: i'm sorry you misunderstood my post stoffe, i meant at level are my allies at when they join my party, so yeah their base level. one last thing, how many feats are there for t3 and go-to?

There is no "level 0"; that just indicates that you have no levels in the class. The only time you can seemingly have "level 0" in a class is when you've just been multiclassed but haven't gone to the levelup screen to apply your level yet. You don't start the game at level 0.

In classpowergain.2da, the label column contains the class level (which starts at 1 at the top of the table). The (Row Label) is not used for anything in this file.

i thought the top 0 represented character generation or in the case of my allies when i changed them to jedis. oh i understand now after i take a longer look at it. there is the row label column and the column after that is the levels followed by the amounts of force powers gained at each of those levels for each class. Stoffe, did you get my last question? how many feats are there for t3 and g0-t0?
