In the eternal pi$$ing contest that is IE vs Firefox, hot on the heels of the IE7 Final release is Firefox 2.0 FINAL - released to the public today

have a try (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/)

a forewarning that some of the older extensions may not work within it, but most of the major ones do(the ones I use definitely do)

LOLz, updated it first thing in the morning. Its not much different from the RC3, though. Also, I've downloaded the Great Britain English version, and my spellchecker is American English. Is it supposed to be so, or what?

My extensions are working, without problems, and everything is in order. Go for it.

If anyone wants to use Fasterfox, you can replace the "install.rdf" file in it's XPI file (by treating it as a ZIP archive) with this (paste into notepad and save it as install.rdf)-

That, or use the trendy MR Local Install Extension, which allows you make incompatible extensions work. Useful for simpler extensions, but it makes Fasterfox work too, at least for me. :)

The only downside for me is that it still used a$$loads of memory, and I only have 768Mb to begin with...
