I've noticed this as well. No random events are happening in my GC game as rebels.

well i think the credits thing is good, it makes you play more tacticly, to use what you have properly, in the vanilla eaw i used to just through everything in, i was making credits hand over fist. in the x pack its better because it made me think more about the stratergy, but thats just my opinion

the ones were you have to do a certan thing and get a reward if you do

I have also found that the random events do not happen as the underworld in GC. this I find is interesting, although as the underworld you can seemingly create the random events.

Oh yeah never really noticed.

I played an entire GC last night (The outer rim one) and didn't get any. When usually I got bombarded with the things in EaW.
