I'm real tired of people not understanding that if you don't want someone to see your less attractive side, maybe you shouldn't display it on CAMERA.

Drunk or not.

Yeah, thought it would be time for a lawsuit. I would've just expected it to be from Kazakhstan instead of two idiot frat boys who try to rip off the movie industry for some money

Well thats what you get for signing legally binding documents while inebriated.

They've considered it. Or is that what you're referring to?

I think the world needs a lesson on humor. It seems to lack knowledge of it atm...

Not sued over the Borat Character, but because of their inclusion in the film. Misleading thread title.

lol. i personally think they deserve the shame they get but instead of sueing a film company they should just stop drinking or take it a bit easier next time. i know Cohen pissid off alot of people when making/releasing that movie but it was after all just intended to be a joke.

But it's the type of humor that the Borat character uses that is embarrassing to them in the first place. If this were family friendly Candid Camera, they'd probably not be suing.

They signed, they're responsible, drunk or not. they probably shouldn't have been drinking so much anyways.

I don't buy this loss of reputation, etc. crap. If they were drunk enough to do that on camera, they've no doubt been drunk enough to do it in any situation.

Plus maybe they shouldn't have been *******s in the first place, then they wouldn't have any issue.

Bottom line, **** 'em.

The film "made plaintiffs the object of ridicule, humiliation, mental anguish and emotional and physical distress, loss of reputation, goodwill and standing in the community," the lawsuit said.

most frat boys do that anyways without being in a movie.
