GUNNER

Since I was in Sunny Arizona for Christmas I really didn't get most of my gifts till I got home and had Christmas with my folks so here is my belated list.

The Tie Advanced Lego model. This baby is sweet ,it is huge and has its own stand and looks great. Now to get the X-Wing. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/wink.gif

A nice World map. More on this later.

Socks,sweater,book, yada yada yada..

And.......it looks like I'm going to be a Dad again. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/biggrin.gif Not sure how far along we are but the Wife goes to the Doctor today. So actually this preasent wont come for another 7-8 months.

Back to the Map. I got this really nice big World map and I was going to make a list of everyone here (and other various SW forums I hang out at) and where they lived and then I could see just where everyone was at in the World. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif

So if you wouldn't mind would you please put your name and where you live, if it's a small city also put a town that you are close to that should be on the map. I.E. I live in Auburn so I would also add , 20 miles south of Seattle, as it's a major city. Because if I just put Auburn,Washington You would go, "where in the heck is that". Understand. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif

so start listing if you would.

Congrats!!! If you keep it up like this, GUNNER, you might end up with like 10 kids! I know it's possible... I know a family with 10 kids... All girls, and all of 'em can sing way better then anything I've ever heard... Oh yeah, they're really hot too... But anyway... I hope it's a girl for ya, that way Lil' GUNNER can beat up the guys who date her, saving your best threatening lines for special occasions... Give us news on the wife's trip to the Dr.!

ok Gunner, for me it's a bit complicated to tell you where I'm from because you see, since the glorious day of my birth I have been living in different countries every 2 or 3 years... so here is the list in order:

THE LIST:
Brazil (Born in Rio de Janeiro,1 years)
Phillipines (Manilla, 2 years)
Gabon (Libreville, 2 years)
England (London, 2 years)
Gabon (Libreville, 3 years)
Canada (Ottawa, 3 years)
Poland (Warsaw, 3 years)
Senegal (Dakar, since the 14th of August last year)

http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif

and when I finish school over here (1 year or 2, depends if I want to do "BAC") I'll go back home to Canada in the University of Ottawa.
So meanwhile you can put a little mark on Dakar for me. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/wink.gif

Hey.
I am not a 'pigeon' or a '****hawk',
And I don't 'drive planes' or bark commands.
I don't wear bowls, beanbags, or odd things on my head,
Although I am certain they are really, really... comfortable.
I'm in a Squadron, not a Corps.

I speak to my Cadets - not scream at them;
And I polish my boots, not my shaved head.
I can proudly wear my blue uniform and wedge.
I have a Warrent Officer First Class, not a "Chief" or a "Gunny"
Recruits, not 'New Entrys';

And that flying is a truly proud and noble profession!
A wedge is a hat; a thermal is an air movement;
And it's called 'a boot' - not 'an unpolished shoe';
It is one of the largest services,
The only one with morale,
And the best Cadet unit of all!

MY NAME IS RYAN!
AND I AM AN AIR CADET!!!

Hehe, that's a cool idea GUNNER! Make sure you take a pic of the map and scan it in! I wanna see it once it's done!

Okay, I live in Mainz, Germany.
That's west of frankfurt. Exactly where two rivers (which should be included on your map) come together! The Rhine (as I believe you guys spell it) and the Main. Hope that helped! Though the city itslef (Mainz) could already be on it... ya never know http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/biggrin.gif

XWA episode #38: The Boys 'do' Medford

A tattered squadron of wobbly rebel spacecraft take off from the Medford airport, dropping bombs on their way to destroy what had been the last standing area of intact concrete.

The city is in flames. The National Guard pulled out hours ago. Broken beer bottles and wrecked cars in the street hint at the story of what happened when a handful of arrogant young fighterpilots ran into drunken loggers in a cowboy bar on a saturday night...

Ok here is the thing:
When the first car is nearing the finishing line I intend to burst out from nowhere wearing nothing at all "naked" and holding a big knife, I will run towards that car (might be the french buggy) and burst his tires so that he loses after all his effort.
I also intend to yell some satanist stuff in Latin while I'm doing all that.
My grand finally will be a sort of latino dance with a lot of hip swinging (remember, I'll be naked) around the wasted car.
I still have to figure out my grand escape, maybe a helicopter or something like that.

So all of you must watch CNN and catch me on TV (CNN = Pedro Pinto is gonna talk about me, that guy's great)

Any suggestions or hints before I go torwards my ultimate destiny?

I think he got stuck on the part where you have to take a picture.
GUNNER, on a camera the button you must press to take a picture is often located on the top right. And don't worry is you see a flash, it's normal. It is also advised you aim before taking a picture.
Would a diagram be necessary?

You must also always check, before taking pictures preferably, if there is a film in the camera.

JR2000Z
11-15-2001, 10:41 PM
Make sure your holding the camera...

Jem
11-15-2001, 10:47 PM
Then make sure it's actually a camera your holding...

Admiral

also remember not to expose the film to light.

check to see if there are batteries, if so procced with taking the picture. If not put new ones in and proceed.

Well some big steps were taken over the weekend.. I bought some backing for my map and some wood to make a frame. The wife said she would help printing out everyones name and locations. So maybe after thanksgiving I will have made some more progress and I'll include some new pictures of my Star Wars room with added features. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/wink.gif

Now we get to see the room where GUNDOG invents his devious little evil experiments that it would be so fearful to see.

Its not like it would be filled with Jar Jar crap of course. Even though that would be even more devastating to see.

Actually it has two walls covered with a huge SW mural. Pictures of Darth,Luke and some x-wings. I just hung up all my figures and a sweet E1 poster the wife had framed for my Birthday. I also have all my lego SW ships hanging from the ceiling. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/smile.gif

We painted the was with a clear coat to help with any "mishaps" that might come up someday.

He has got ahold of the wifes make-up and smeared it into the carpet and a comforter on the bed. Both came out with a lot of elbow grease from momma GUNNER.

Hope to make headway over turkeyday..

You know, the scary thing is that this thread will actually have survived during a year and surely more...

has this happened before?

BTW, my computer (the 800MHz) has it's fan located on the mother board that is out of service, that would explain why it kept shutting down. Anyways I realized this a bit too late so I think that everything is burnt.
I am currently using the 166 which is slow as hell and is wasting my time so I guess I won't be using anything that ressembles a computer for a while. This means I also won't be posting for a while.

Hasta la proxima amigos!
