XvT patch problems

Hi,

I have installed XvT from the collector series and went to install the patch from the website and it starts up and says it cannot find XvT even though it is in the default directory.
I have even moved the patch file into the directory but it did not work still.

I am running XP if that has any relevance.

XvT from the X-Wing Collector's Series is a limited "Flight School" version. The patch only works with the full retail version of XvT. If you decide to look for the full XvT, look for one that also has the "Balance of Power" expansion (2 disk set, w/ the full XvT game on one disk, and the expansion on the other)...that package will already contain the patch.

didnt realise there was a difference.

I shall look for the full version, other than the usual sites is there anywhere you would recommend looking to purchase it?

I think Ebay and Amazon.com will cover all the bases, unfortunately.
