I think the RIAA will not win this one. Considering that Allofmp3 is a Russian company, the RIAA does not have jurisdiction. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of the end.

Uhhh, the RIAA will just file suit in Russia.

Like IG said though, $150k per violation is insane - especially when they'd probably make less than a dollar per song when sold on iTunes, for example. Hell, the $10k per violation they usually sue for is far too much.

Lame (and useless) for right now, but Allofmp3 will be shut down by June anyway. No more Russian loopholes for them to use. The big number is simply an advertising gag IMO.
