This does not translate the text. It only makes text visible if your using a different

This mod adds a new planet to the galaxy map. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

This mods create three new areas re-using exiting modules.

1.The Jedi Temple Landing pad.
2.The Jedi Temple itself.
3.The Jedi Council chambers.

You can learn a handful of Jedi power. (Depends on skill/attribute checks)
Learn a bonus Lightsaber form. (Prestige class required)
Learn a bonus Force form. (Prestige class required, excluding Jedi Master/Sith Lord)
Practice your blaster bolt deflection skills.

Acquire high level Jedi related items/upgrades.
Dark Side items also available.

I've added a couple of items I created for previous mods.
I created some new Jedi/Sith items for this mod.
I re-created some K1 items (.uti's only) not available for TSL for this mod.

Installation

Extract the contents of tsljeditemple.rar.
Run the installer and select your game directory. IE: e:\Program Files\Lucasarts\SWKotOR2
The installer will create backups of files it modified. Save these for un-installation.

This mod adds a lighsaber hilt reskin using model w_lghtsbr_151, which

I don't know what my bandwidth limit is so if it's down try again later. I've PM'd Shem to try to get it up at FileFront also.Your download did time out on me and had to make a couple of attempts, but I was able to get it and then I reviewed and uploaded it to FileFront as you requested. :D

Great mod. Its a pity about the distant scenary (I know its not the modders fault). I know the area was only meant for a cutscene, but they should made it dark (night) like Nar Shadar or reused the Nar Shadar back-drop, then you wouldnt notice the low detail back-drop so much.

The only problem with that is that the Council Chambers backdrop is in full daylight.

He also made a pretty sweet Windu hilt that will crash your game because the texture isn't sized correctly.

Good mod, but there is one thing that bothers me: In the council chambers, you can actually walk THROUGH the chairs and pillar. I know that you can't edit walkmeshes, but isn't it possible to put some invisible placeables in the chairs and pillar so they don't just seem like overly-realistic holograms?

okay, i just finish Telos and i want to go to coruscant. I click on it, the Ebon Hawk is in hyperspace then i am in the Hawk again. I want to get out and it says that i cannot leave the ship in transit. I tried to join the jedi temple after i land on another planet and it keeps put me to the same planet.
I can't join the jedi temple.
The only mod i have is the Final Touch of Oldflash.

Have you tried a different save game? You can also try to warp there if you have cheats enabled. At the console type: warp 954cor

If nothing else, could you post the contents of the installlog.rtf file. It's created when you run the installer and will be located in the same directory as the installer. That might help narrow it down.

it works when i use the cheat. Do you know the command to warp to the ebon hawk? just in case i can't enter it while i am in Coruscant

I wanted to make items available that you might not normally get in a regular play through. I figured the Jedi Temple would be a storehouse of good Jedi related items. The Force power you might not get on every play through. There is a prerequisite required to get it so it depends on how you like to build your characters.

I'm Having the same problem as Quatra. the only 2 files that didn't go thru are k_sup_galaxymap.ncs and a .2da file. i tried to reinstall it, but it still won't work. Would the holowan plug-in, recruitable dustil, or imperial knights mods conflict?
Edit: Warping works, and i have to say that this mod is excellent and your hard work is very appreciated.

It's the Holowan Plugin, specifically The Handmaiden Choice Mod. Could you test a patch for me? In your override folder back up k_sup_galaxymap.ncs(re-name it). Download this file HCMPatch.zip (http://home.comcast.net/~deathdisco/files/HCMPatch.zip) and unzip the new k_sup_galaxymap.ncs to your override folder and let me know if that works.

The items aren't in the override folder. They reside within the module(952cor). They would have to be extracted and placed in the override folder before you could use KSE to add them to your inventory.

You can open MOD files and extract the content with KotorTool if it's placed in the Modules folder (it will show up in KotorTool's treeview), or with any ERF editor that's compatible with the ERF format used by the KOTOR games.

I can't speak for deathdisco, but I'd imagine by first changing the DynAmbientColor and Sun/Moon fog settings in the .ARE, and then by extracting the lightmaps for the original area (301NAR, unless I'm mistaken) using KT, editing them using PSP/The Gimp/etc, saving them with an alternative name, (say, 954COR_lm0, instead of 301NAR_lm0), and then HEX-editing the entries in the room model.

For more info, I suggest checking out the Module Reskinning Tutorial @Holowan :)

It's an attribute check:
Your Wisdom needs to be at least 18.

I am having issues with this mod. I went to the Temple and decided(before finishing everything) to come back later. So, I tried getting to the Ebon Hawk and my screen freezes at about 95% of the way loaded. Then I loaded my save game---and tried getting back to the Temple----and it freezes.

Okay, I restarted my computer and still can't get back to Jedi Temple--I am in the ebon hawk tho.

I will try to explain best as possible. I am in the ebon hawk trying to get to Coruscant. It "auto-saves"(which I have turned off) upon leaving the Ebon Hawk. About 35% of the way through saving---it freezes and does not save complete or load or anything. I have to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get out of it.

Wow - you don't see this often in the modding community! As far as i know this is the first custom planet for Kotor II, so congrats on being the first deathdisco! I feel its about time Coruscant was implemented into Kotor and feel it is something that the developers should have done along time ago anyway! Implementing a whole new planet like this is probably the most challenging in modding terms - i know i certainly couldn't do this!

If only porting wasn't illegal - then perhaps parts of Taris could have also been implemented into the mod - but as it stands i think you deserve this:

^^ It wouldn't make any sense to do that anyway, as Taris was mostly destroyed. A new, destroyed version of Taris (undercity and parts of the lower city) with rakghouls everywhere would make sense. Maybe that will become possible if Team Jawa succeeds in making new areamodels for Sleheyron.

As I have yet to start a new campaign (and probably won't until the TSLRP is released), does this mod use modified layouts (i.e. adding/removing/shifting rooms)?

What I meant was using pre-existing Taris modules from Kotor 1 and using them for the Coruscant mod - to a create a much larger Coruscant planet; although a new destroyed version of Taris would be cool in Kotor 2.

HOWEVER - PORTING IS ILLEGAL!! So even if modders are making things like this for personal use we would never see as public release unless it was released either through their own personal forums or websites.

The mod is really great. The story could have some improvements. And just an idea I had when playing, maybe you can add a reskinned module of the Telos academy to the Corusant academy.

But it's still a fantastic mod.

Do you mean you're denied access at the terminal? If so try using an NPC with high computer skill or use items that boost your computer skill.

That's strange, 28 is more than enough to open the armory and Council Chamber doors. You need access codes to open the Restricted storage door,found in the Council chambers computer.
I'm not sure what's going on. :giveup:

Your computer skill is fine. Have you tried a save game from before you entered the Temple? What other mods do you have installed?

Do you not have the option to pick the lock on the door? Does your PC/NPC have any points in the security skill?

I have not tried a save game from before I got to the temple I do not have a option to pick the lock or to uselightsaber at the point when I first got there I had about 6 for sercuity and now i have 10. I am starting a new game tho but of you can find anything that is wrong with the mods that i have tell me ok?

The mods that I have installed are as follows
Dark apprentice, quigon doubleblade hilt, redhawkes exile genral uniform, Peragus Discorvey, azagath, atractive atris (she is not very pretty normally), Exile jedi robes,Harbinger new decor, sith with lightsabers, More feats, new hk47 (now he is black), some stuff for kreia (can't get specific there I forgot to put those files in different folders), Sion's new look(the bloody one), Tienn Tubb's restored store, Mira space suit bug fix(that really bothered me), Visas's underwear for female, enhanced merchants mod, remote tells influence, Cati Mandalore's gizka, prestige class bonuses and items, new force powers version 2 and also the ultamite saber mod (what can I say I like to mod)

Edit: Ok so I tried it again and it didn't work but i am going to reinstall it and maybe it will work then but we will check

By the by I still love the mod

Thanks to TK102's DLGConv Language converter all dialogs should display text no matter what language version of the game you have.
Unfortunately I can't actually test it myself, being that I only have the English version of the game.

You can use the 2DA Converter/Merger Tool to merge the two placeables.2da files into one. You can download it from here (http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php).

If you have a placeables.2da in your Override from another mod it should add to it. Check the installlog.rtf (created within the folder you extracted the tsljeditemple.rar contents). You'll have a warning about it not over-writing the existing .2da file but it should still "patch" it with the data the mod requires.

Sadly, it does not. I have a few other mods in the override folder, but none of them should interfere with yours, at least your installer doesn't detect any.

Now it works, I think it must have been an error of the 2DA Converter/Merger Tool, I merged them again and now it works.

It's a new area, with a couple of events. A couple of spelling errors aside, it's nice. It's also the only way for a lightsider to get Force Crush without using an editor, but that carries a price. Nice selection of items too. I hope someone will expand upon this in the future.

Hey guys!

I just downloaded this mod and I have it installed but when I got on to play it I realized the only save games I have are on Malachor V =[

So.......if anyone has a game they would be willing to PM me thats at a place where I can get to the Jedi Temple that would be great. Windows Vista wont let me turn on the cheats other wise I would do that :/
And because I am to lazy to play though A new game(I didn't like K2 that much)

Sorry for any inconvenience I may be causing.

Im pretty sure you cant send saved games? If not, you can get the skip Peragus and Telos mods to get to the Jedi temple within an hour. Besides, its playing to get to the mods thats fun!!

I think you can...idk? BoS comes with a saved game so you can just start instead of having to start a new game
If you go in to the Kotor folder on your hard drive and go to the saved folder you can find the saved games, then just compress using winzip(or something like that) and there ya go! I think thats how its done anyway.............

But if you can give me a link to those two skip mods I can do it that way.

Saved games being sent are fine the only problem is that they can contain game information for characters or other mods that are not installed on your computer and will just crash your game anyways. It is better to play through another time.

It depends on when you visit Coruscant, I believe, and which class you've picked. Consulars and Sentinels get Force forms instead of some of the lightsaber forms, I believe.

You can only learn certain forms with certain classes, so you won't be able to learn every single form with your guardian.

Paul, don't get mad at people for recommending KSE and then say rude things. Not everyone remembers or knows that you don't know how to get KSE to work. I recommend you re-read the readme in tk102's KSE mod--that will explain things better for you and that will help you better.

Please also put your questions in the correct threads instead of starting new ones. This question should have gone in the Jedi Temple thread. Thanks.

You'll only receive Juyo or Niman once you have a prestige class.

We need some more details, please. But more than likely, it's not KSE that's messed up, entirely, it could be the game that is a bit messed up. Take a look at the readme file, it can help. Also, read the information on filefront, that can help too.

Ok, back to the main subject, and that is this, the mod is decent. I did notice a couple of minor spelling mistakes, which could be corrected with a spell checker, and a update for this mod. But overall, it is a wonderful mod.

I believe the galaxy map is loaded when you get back to the Ebon Hawk after Telos, then saved. So you probably need a game before that point so it'll load it correctly. But I can't say for certain.

So everything else works(modules)? Thats wierd, especially since the dialogs are contained within the modules themselves. You can try the multi-language patch in the first (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2276473) post. They will override the originals. See if that works.

Is it possible this mod is incompatible with the "High level force powers" mod?

as it causes the game to drop to the main menu when loading a new area 99% of the time, I know its this as I've installed ever other mod incrementally and it worked fine (well as fine as TSL runs on Vista) but once this was installed the problem started, even removing the files doesn't fix it I've to start a fresh override folder (not a problem though)

i'm gonna keep testing however, i'll remove it all then, install this then HLFP and test it, currently i did HLFP then this and it has problems.
Then try the game with these independently to double check its no other mods in conflicts with

The other Mods i'm using are
USM
Bastila PC
FeatsGain by shem
*Pretty Artis by Antinate
*DARTH NIHILUS - LORD OF HUNGER by Drewton

i wouldn't have thought any of them would conflict with it and the ones i've stared i added after i found the problems with this

any ideas? really want to try this mod out

Edit: No matter how i've installed this i just can't get it to be stable, it just causes the game to drop to the main TSL menu and you can't click anything you have to end the game via task manager and re-start and then you start the gauntlet again of if it will load new areas, which invariably it doesn't and drops again

4) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided?
5) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation?
6) What other mods did you have installed? (Please give an accurate list.)
7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen?
8) Have you tried re-downloading the mod?
9) Have you tried using a different save game?
10) Have you tried starting a new game?

Some more specific questions. More specific answers help us to pinpoint the source of the problem. :)

I didn't have a compatibility problem when I installed these two mods together. I installed high force power mod and it's patch first, then this mod. However, after installing this mod, I could not get of the Ebon Hawk when trying to go to the rebuilt enclave. I used the warp cheat and everything worked out fine, maybe you could use the warp cheat to get where you need to go.

Ive got the Coruscant temple mod installed and the expanded council mod installed and they seem to be clashing because every time i go down to the council chamber its like ive been put into the council custscene.

If you don't get an answer delete the Council Cutscene Mod's files from your Override and see if that fixes the problem.

I have a request about modifying this mod(Coruscant - Jedi Temple) ; the soldier who guard the door to the Coruscant - Jedi Temple not let you in until you have a light saber( wich u can make it with Bao Dur )since u can take from there a lot of them (cheat the story line...) and he do not recognize you as jedi until u have a light saber (he can say u are an impostor who came to loot the temple) and he is imune to mind tricks...
I think is a nice ideea
Also the story can be expanded a little beet Kreia can meet an apprentice (light jedi) of her historian over there in the room where she show u the back door let by her into the computers....and u learn a lot of force powers...

I like that this mod seems to have a few add-on mods created specifically for it by the modding community. I'm referring to the mods that add a rotating planet for Coruscant to the Galaxy Map and the new hi-resolution skybox for the area. If there's one extra that I think this planet mod could use, it's a set of landing and take-off videos.

If I recall properly, that's not an option. 'IF' I remember properly :raise: 'cause it's been plenty of time since my last playthrough with this great mod.

ok i downloaded the mod. Then it wouldn't work when i double clicked on it and said kotor 2 has stopped working bla bla bla. Then i put it in my kotor 2 folder and it then works and so i get on the game using the tsljeditemple thing but I can't travel to coruscant it's not on my map at all. So i read loads of comments on this and one guy said it has to load it before you've been to the telos academy. So i went on a character that hadn't gone their yet did it all now at nar sha daar but still not on map tried to warp there(like deathdisco said) doesn't work doesn't do anything and i have got cheats enabled cus it works with every other cheat. In short I'm completely stuck and i really need someone's help on it.

It sounds like to me you just dumped the mod into the override, correct? That won't work since .mod files can't be read from there. Delete all the files and run the tslpatcher. It will put everything where it needs to go. ;)

Ok so where do I find the tsl patcher i've never heard of it but could i search it somewhere? Also which files am i deleting? Sorry I've never downloaded a mod before for any game on pc. I really have no idea what I'm meant to do. Sorry.

Oh yeh also i didn't put it in the override I just put it in the SWKOTOR2 file

And yes I do know that the override is in the SWKOTOR2 folder just incase you asked me that. But yeh i just put it next to the normal kotor 2 launcher.

Chisrex, when you open the .rar file there is an Install.exe - that's the TSL patcher. Extract all files, double click that, follow the instructions, and it'll do the work for you. ;)

Ok right i downloaded the mod yeh and your saying it's like a file well i only got this thing called tsljeditemple and that's like another launcher. I didn't get anything else with it. Although it does say it's a file but it's not cus if i click on it it just launches kotor 2 and then says it's not working. I'm really confused. But I've searched install.exe. But yeh my mod actually is not a file so that's strange. But that's what it is so if you know how to fix that please say cus I really want to go to the jedi temple.

The file you download is called 'tsljeditemple.rar' so you need to download and install a program like 7zip (free) (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) or WinRAR (trial) (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) and use it in order to open tsljeditemple.rar. It's basically like a .zip file, so plonking it here or there won't do the trick.

Inside the .rar folder is a series of other files, including Install.exe. Extract ALL of the files to either a new folder or somewhere that you'll remember the location, and make sure any conflicts are overwritten.

Once that is done, when you run the Install.exe (double click), click 'Install Mod' and follow the instructions.

those txts that come with mods are called readme's, not ignore me's.

I love this mod, but I've only ever managed to visit the Temple once per game. By this, I mean from T3 saving the Ebon Hawk to the final confrontation with everyone's favorite compulsive habitual liar of a Sith Lord, Kreia.
It doesn't seem to make a difference if I'm playing a fresh install or not, or if it has other mods.
For the record, I only ever run K2 with USM, BoS, or Darth Stoney's TSLRCM + USM as my other mods. In each case, if I ever return to the temple the game crashes when I re-enter.
(But, hey, at least I seem to get one run thru the Temple per game.)

You'll want to use a program such as WinRAR (http://www.win-rar.com/website/index.php?L=0) or 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). WinZip doesn't support the format.. neither does Windows built in compression (I believe).

7zip is a freebie.. so most popular amongst the interwebs I'd imagine. I prefer WinRAR myself.. but I bought it a long time ago and it's a lifetime of upgrades. :)
