View Full Version : Hardpoint Health vs Tactical Health?

Hello, I've been making a personal realism mod for Forces of Corruption, everything's been going well untill I was testing out my work in skirmish. I noticed some acclamators were blowing up before all their hardpoints had been destroyed. It was against easy AIs.

I realized I'm not sure how if there is some connection between the health of the hardpoints of a ship and the tactical health value(or perhaps even another value I've overlooked?) of the ship itself in the XMLs and wondered if that could be the culprit. Is there some sort of ratio, (i.e. say the health of all a ships hardpoints equals the tactical health ect)? Is it something to do with the AI difficulty level like some difficulty modifier or something?

Hope that makes sense, any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe easy mode doesn't mean stupid AI alone, some of the units have their health reduced.
