Big Whoop on Booty Island?

Did anyone notice the similarity of the village of Booty Island and Big Whoop in the end of LeChuck's Revenge?

Let's say Dinky Island actually wasn't far from Booty Island, and the underground tunnels were from Dinky to Booty, and not Dinky to Monkey? And Big Whoop is a kind of a time-machine to bring both LeChuck and Guybrush back in time? I don't think that the similarity between Booty Island and Big Whoop is a coincidence, or Ron would've made Big Whoop different in appearence.

Just my thoughts... anyone has a comment?

Must say I haven't noticed that, I'm replaying MI2 at the moment and I've almost finished, but from what I recall (this is at least 7years ago) isn't Monkey island similar to Booty Island in the way the paths are set? and isn't there some tour guide where the cannon guy is? I'm curious now http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smile.gif I think I'm gonna have to get a move on and finish it asap (just cant get hold of Le Chucks undies...) But I'll keep that in mind for when I finish the game and if that's true, maybe that will help explain a few things?

I noticed the exact same thing myself. There is some building where the costume shop is and another where Stan's store is. I'm glad someone else recognized the similarities and it wasn't just me.
