I recently bought a legal version of PhotoShop (why legal you ask? Conscience, as well as various practical reasons...but we're not talking about that of course :p...) Anyway, I've been having fun with some basic photoshopping, getting to learn how to use its full potential.

So, welcome to Photoshopptopia. Post your photoshopping -- or someone else's photoshopping that you like -- here for all to enjoy.

I'll start the ball rolling...

The only thing of done with Photoshop is make these avatars and signatures that you see at the moment. Otherwise, I don't really do anything fancy.

I made this when people where talking about if Daniel Craig looked like James Bond before Casino Royale came out.
It was originally Jackie Chan.
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89/Lion54/Random/Bondtuxedo.jpg
(Could have sworn it was bigger...)

I sometimes make sigs/avatars for people in Ahto. A while back, I noticed a number of people were using my Photobucket
accout to host the stuff I made them so I decided to have a little fun.
Their sigs became this:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89/Lion54/Random/PathtoDarkness.jpg
hehe

Because I'm a Louisiana boy and a Saints fan (and I happened across it looking in my pb album just now):
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89/Lion54/Random/DeuceCard2Smaller.jpg
Pretty basic, but I like how it came out. I was going for a football card / poster thingie with it.

07-30-2007, 01:50 AM
No, I have a regular account. I've been using it for a long while too, but I never really felt the need to go pro. I only use it for forum related pics really, I have a separate host for bigger and more important stuff... like my website :p

TiE23
07-30-2007, 02:29 AM
Well. Umm, it's because standard accounts can upload only to 1mb. You have a 1.8mb picture there.

coupes.
07-30-2007, 03:15 AM
Well, I never switched and I still have a "go pro" link in my account so I don't really know what's going on...

One thing's for sure, I never paid photobucket any money, so if I have a pro account, they gave it to me :p

Something I made in photoshop:

http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/9306/rachelspresent5copyux2.jpg

A certain lady friend of mine is having her birthday this weekend so I decided to make this, print it out, frame it, and give it to her. She's really big on the stylized cutsy stuff like this.

Curt-Man

Very nice Wally. I'm sure you'll woo sed lady friend in no time.

MrWally

I'm debating whether it's worth it to sharpen the stars in the sky. It would mean completely redoing them, essentially. However, in some ways, the blurriness seems to add to the style of the picture.

EDIT 1: I should note that the picture is currently resized, the full resolution is 1248x1024 400 dpi.

EDIT 2: I already woo'd sed lady friend 13 months ago :P

She wasn't my type.

Everything is a different layer, the grass, the tree, the boy, the girl, the moon, the sky, the stars, the purpleish tints, etc.

And yes, when I get back from work today I can upload the seperate land and tree layers.
