Dear swampies,
A friend of mine burned me a DVD with data on it, but when I got it, I noticed it was highly scratched. Windows (and linux) both recognize the disc and I can even open some of the files, but some of the others seem to be unreadable. Is there a program that can coax out the data by ripping it to an .iso and then reburning it? Are there commercial solutions to clean these types of discs? I would rather not bother him with burning another disc so, if you find it in your heats, could you hook a swampie up?
