Half of my family just came up to Chicago from California.

They keep complaining about the cold weather :P

I hate situations where I want to return stuff but I got a lot of stuff to return or exchange. The major thing I got this year is an iPod nano. I really needed a new music player because my old mini is just that, old. Been through a new battery and its all beat up. So I really liked that gift but my dad offered me that I could exchange it for the touch and me pay the difference. I was planning on doing that because I've been wanting a touch for a while. My dad ordered it from newegg and their return policy on iPods is no refunds and no replacements. So I'll call them tomorrow but I might be out of luck on a touch this year. My only real argument against their policy is that I want to spend more money, lol.

Other stuff I got:
Wii Games
Super Mario Galaxy
Lego SW The Complete Saga
Tomb Raider Anniversary

Pirates of the Caribbean 3
Die Hard 4
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
We Are Mashall
Seinfeld Season 9

Pink Floyd - pulse
Elton John - Rocket Man Number Ones (I'm going to return this because I already have all the songs on it on other CDs)

Logitech Wireless keyboard and mouse
New jeans and sweaters
USB Power Adapter for iPod
Black Leather Gloves (lol Kojo)
Lots of candy

My brother got an Xbox 360 which I was pretty surprised at since my parents have been telling him forever that if he wants it he has to buy it on his own. It came with 2 games and then he got CoD3.

12-25-2007, 08:46 PM
Merry Christmas, everyone! Enjoy your friends and family!

12-25-2007, 09:15 PM
Yep. Merry Christmas and all that.

I got some stuff...primarily albums and band t-shirts. Boards of Canada + Muse + mah Alessandro music series 1 headphones = perpetual awesome. 2007 goes out in style.

12-25-2007, 09:36 PM
Merry Christmas!

What I gave

Brother- Top spin 2
Brother - NBA Live 07
Mom - House Season 1
Dad- "I am America, and so can you!"

12-25-2007, 09:45 PM
I'm still young and living with my parents.

As am I... :(

Dad- "I am America, and so can you!"

I haven't gotten to read all of it, but that's an AWESOME book :D

I gave:

Mother: A 7 quart slow-cooker that she's been wanting for a while.
Dad: Bourne Ultimatum. The Bourne trilogy is his all-time favorite series.
Brother-In-Law: He's always sitting on his couch/bed/recliner with his laptop on his lap so I bought him this laptop lap cushion that ventilates it and props it up. It's really nice.
Brother: I gave him my very very old edition of the Complete Works of Shakespeare. He loves the really old books from the early 1900s and 18th century. He loves it.
Nieces: We all kind of chipped in to various presents and clothes for my two nieces, who are 2 and 4 years old. They're adorable :D

What I got:

My entire family together under one roof for the first time in two years :]

Commander Obi-Wan

I received clothes, a docking station for my iPod and some travel luggage and a bunch of small treats. So, what I got was fairly practical. Though, I did received a cell phone, which isn't that practical. :p

I also have to shop a little more for my mom and grandma. I didn't get everything they asked for.

12-25-2007, 11:02 PM
Merry Xmas everyone!

I got a crapload of money and a Wii. Of course it died after 5 minutes, and apparently, Japan took the day off or something. Have to wait til tomorrow and call it in unless the store has any to replace it with.

Now it's back to work!

12-27-2007, 10:15 PM
...Not that much...

$100 cash ($100)
Star Wars Sand-Trooper figure ($6)
A watch ($20)
The Simpsons Movie ($15)
Indiana Jones Trilogy box set ($32)
A hand full of gift cards ($50)
Bunch of other random crap ($10-20)

My parents still owe me $120 and I have two pay checks that I haven't collected yet... So eh, not much but I'm still okay. Weird cause I didn't get a single video game, a rarity.

Just wanted to wish everyone a great 2008 :D

01-01-2008, 06:38 PM
Double Post. Oh well.

Double posts are okay when you have an entire year between them. :D

01-01-2008, 07:10 PM
Girlfriend: I wrote and recorded a song for her.

Oh comon, you can hardly say that taking Rape Me and adding "baby" after every utterance of the titular phrase is considered writing a song for her.

Actually he called it "Rape Babies". Artistic freedom and all that. :|

Artistic freedom and life imprisonment.

Unknown to you, I actually write very seriously and have been for over a year now. And its not just lame 80s rock songs or sappy love songs either.

PS, "Rape Babies" had a cool guitar solo to it, ok? :(
