I am from Colorado.

I say Burro. Greensburro. But not really with the long r sound. More like buro I suppose.

I pronounce it as a cross between "boh-roh" and "buh-roh".

I usually pronounce -boro in regards to the previous vowel sounds or the consonants.

Usually -burough, though. A stronger ending with a "lazy" softened g sound.
