View Full Version : TF2 - Over The Easter Weekend

03-20-2008, 10:53 AM
Anyone fancy an evening of Team Fortress 2 this weekend? Most people will be off (in the UK anyway) for the bank holidays so we could have some late night games like we used to.

I'll be up for some of that, if we plan out a very set time and date - I have about 20,000 words left to write over the next four weeks :(

I think this would be a good oppourtunity for some Worms also ;

Alright at some point in the next few weeks I'm probably going to buy TF2 just to get in on the Mojo gaming action.

That doesn't help anybody here on the current matter, but yeah.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing over the weekend, but you know I'm logged on to Steam pretty much whenever my computer is on, so message me up.

Yeah, I'll be up for some of that. Whenever I'm around I'll also be Steamed up so just send me a message and I'll be there. ;

I propose a Wireplay server for obvious reasons. We even have a private community server we could use if there's enough of us. ;;;;;;

Yep, I'll be up for that. I don't have Steam on all the time though, so message it here. I'm going out this afternoon and Saturday night, and I'll probably be swamped with family on Sunday...

i'm down for some action.

lets make it a date!

I guess this is the weekend right now? I mean, Saturday, Sunday, even Monday are fine for me I just need it to be a pretty fixed time as I said. So much work!

03-22-2008, 08:45 AM
I would love to participate, but unless TF2 has a super downscaled mode where it works just fine on a Radeon 9200, I think my current location will prevent me joining in :(

However, I'd be willing to break the Drontal curse...?!

Right well fυckit: GAME OF WORMS tonight at 10pm? I can host, and I'll be on MSN. Due to the nature of Worms we can discuss further Steam-based plans easily whilst we're in-game.

Anyone who isn't on my MSN but wants to play - well, leave a post here saying so before 10pm, and make sure you 'own' a copy of Worms Armageddon by this evening. Update to version (find here (http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda&file=15)) and then at 10pm if anyone has posted saying they want to play I'll put the server details up for you to join.

Okay? that's about five hours to sort yourself out people.

PS. I would especially like Thrik to play, because he is a hilarious bastard at worms ;

Throwing down the Worms gauntlet!

I dont yet know if I'll be in tonight, but if I am I'll certainly play. Possibly some TF2 afterwards if anyone wants a game too.

all right so 10pm. what time zone?

03-22-2008, 05:35 PM
Argh, my connection is being throttled (stupid torrent files) and I can't host. And no-one seems to be up for it, apart from DeadKyle of course, so when everyone else gets their act together we'll sort something out.

all right so 10pm. what time zone?I'm assuming all times posted are GMT as these guys are mostly British types. Since the US did "Spring Forward" before the rest of the world, I am having trouble translating the times to my local (it's usually eight hours' difference). I'll wait for someone to message me ;

And to be fair, there is a fair bit of the US with their own timezones.

Which version of Worms were we talking about?
